I would suggest you put it back on a stock rom to see if it clears. Viper is not a stock rom it is custom. Please post your fastboot getvar all with the imei and serialno removed. Then we might be able to figure out the origins of your phone.

I bought it like That... With That rom... I'll look for how to get the fastboot and post it.
Btw in the other Topic, the one that I posted before it was a problem with part of the firmware and they changed it just in case it helps.
EDIT: I Know now how to get the Fastboot getvar all, in few Hours I will

The good news is that you are S-OFF which will give you more flexibility. You have a Sprint phone here is the current RUU: Sprint HTC One 5.03.651.3 The instructions are in the post. Here is the Sprint HTC One forum which has more information on your phone. It's radio and partitions are different than GSM phones so you don't want to flash something that is not made for your phone.

Sorry if I'm kind of slow or something, but what I need to do is to put a Stock Rom right? just some questions: Will I still be s-off after the flashing??? and root?
Sorry for asking so much...

Yes, you still will have S-OFF but you will lose root. After a successful flash you will have a stock rom, stock recovery and stock kernel (boot). You can then flash a custom recovery, root and a custom rom. Just ensure they are for the Sprint HTC One variant.

same problem

The Verizon variant is more restrictive than the other variants. If you are S-OFF then you can try this custom RUU, just follow the OP very closely. If you are S-ON, you will have to find an encrypted RUU, you can start looking at the Verizon HTC One forum.

upgrading the radio solves the problem, and camera wasn't affected

am having the same problem and my phone is running stock rom. s-off.
Do you guys means that upgrading the Radio would fix the issue?
this behaviour is very rre, I have never seen this in my 15 years working with phones.

as long as you have RSPL or HSPL installed...
you can flash any HD7 ROM.
just remember, flashing a Shipped ROM will rid you of XSPL.

[Q] HTC One GPE to International Unlocked version

Hello dear forum members and helpers
Some time ago, I changed CID on my phone which was locked to O2, of course after unlocking bootloader and S-Off, and I converted my phone to google edition to taste KitKat. And since HTC is rolling out KitKat for unlocked version of HTC One, I would like to convert my phone to Unlocked International version to have KitKat and Sense.
How can I do that?
So my phone is S-Off, bootloader unlocked, and now my CID is GOOGL001. I can change it to superCID 11111111, but what to do next? Which RUU to install? I also need to have stock recovery for that version so I need firmware with bootloader in it?
I tried to find guide hot to convert to unlocked version but all I find is how to convert to Google Edition.
Thank you all!

Hello.
So to get things right...
Was your device originally a GPe device? Or did you convert it over?

I converted it to GPE. It was from O2 network. Not it is bootloader unlocked, S-Off, CID GOOGL001. On android KitKat 4.4

Does it make a difference? I'm asking because I have an original GPE and was thinking of trying Sense too.

You can, as @ensarba mentioned the IR remote, and other various HTC exclusive features. You can just flash a ROM that has a Sense base, e.g. Viper ROM. But if you want a full conversion you'll have to have S-OFF.

Ok, so all you have to do is to download an appropriate RUU, I recommend the Developer Edition (Brightstar US) RUU, which also gets updates very quickly.
Make sure that your Model ID matches the required one for the Dev Edition RUU. I believe its the AT&T HTC One's Model ID should do. Then change your CID to BS_US001 and run the RUU!
Hope this helps!

I meant if it made a difference if it was converted to GPE or born GPE when talking about going to Sense, if the procedure is different for some reason.
i Own a unlocked and rooted sprint htc one. I am using it in India.
It currently runs on android 4.3
i wanted to convert my phone to international unlocked developer edition so that i receive updates fast.
Is there anybody over here who can guide me towards my goal by referencing to some step wise procedure or so...?

Whatsapp your device isn't compatible with this version error

Hello,
I bought HTC Desire C from UK about couple of weeks ago and unlocked it using the IMEI based service so my dad can access it in India.
Problem I have got is, now I cannot install whatsapp on the phone it always comes back with the error "Your device isn't compatible with this version error".
Below is the phone information:
Android Version: 4.0.3
HTC Sense Version: 4.0
Software Number: 2.01.401.6 (I think this is ROM version and it's STOCK ROM because I haven't flashed it)
HTC SDK API Level: 4.21
HTC Extension Version:HTCExtension_403_1_GA_9
Kernel Version: 3.0.16-g34e63f6root"abm032 (hash)1
Baseband Version: 10.17.98.09H_1.19.98.02
Network information is all okay because I can see operator name, signal strength, service state etc.
Can someone please help me with this because I really want to install whatsapp in next couple of days before I go back. Thank you.
P.S. I haven't rooted my phone or anything and to be honest I don't want to root it because I'll be going back to UK in few days and my dad is quite new to smart phone so it will be difficult for me to do anything like this.
Solved
I downloaded whatsapp from whatsapp.com/android and installed the apk file and it worked.
same problem here. download-link at the whatsapp-website brings me to the play store. there appears same notification (not compatible with this device... )

I have a desire c unlocked with giff gaff sim that got update 2.01.401.6 today. whats app was on the phone before update and still runs after update. Have you restarting phone as that can fix problems but so many people forget that trick. whats app should run though.

Go to play store on phone not the website and install just in case your on a pc logged in on a different user and not the specific phone user account Google account. Strange your getting problems as it does work fine.
