[Q] Htc one m7 black screen, green LED, constant vibration - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Evening all. I'm new to these forums so please bear with me regarding technical terms and such, but this is a pretty urgent problem and any/all help would be greatly appreciated.
I went for a jog about an hour ago leaving my phone in the house and upon my return I tried to power on the screen and the only response I got was a vibration and a continuous Green LED showing.
Its a while on now and my phones screen is black and won't respond to the power button, and every 12 seconds it produces a vibration along with the greeen LED which only goes away a second or two before the next buzz. What do I do?

have you tried shining a bright light, like another led / flash on the back of another phone, into your phones light sensor whilst holding down the power button, this is a common problem with these phones, the light sense is the 2 dots on the left at the top of the phone.

I tried that and we get to the screen when you first turn it on and then it goes back to before

try holding down power and volume down button at the same time to enter the bootloader. If that works then select factory reset using volume buttons and power buttons.

HELP! phone won't start up

Not sure if anyone encountered this, but after using my razr i for a day, the screen suddenly froze. Granted a lot of apps were running at the time. So I did a soft reset on the phone (volume down + power), and the screen shut down. But it never booted up again. I tried everything, from holding power button, volume down+power, volume down+up+power, volume up+power, even tried combinations with the camera button, but still no go. I read somewhere it might be the battery, so i tried charging it to a wall outlet for half a day, but still no go. (it was actually connected to my laptop via usb when the first screen freeze occurred). I tried googling this issue but nothing came up. The led light is at solid green the whole time. I can turn the led light off by holding the power button for a few seconds (or power button + other buttons). But as soon as I press the power button (or power button + other buttons) the green led light immediately turns on, no delay at all. it's been two days now, and I still can't figure this one out. Worst part is I'm out of the country, so I can't bring it back to a repair center. Anyone?

Sprint HTC One won't turn on, flashing Home and Back buttons.

I was coming from Cyanogenmod nightlies, and was trying to flash stock, but the phone just randomly shut off and it won't turn back on. When I hold down the power button the only response I get is the home and back buttons will blink white for the duration of me pressing down the button. Thank you for any possible help.

Can you get into the boot loader?
Keep holding down power button. Button lights will blink for about 12 secs, then let go of power and hold down vol down until bootloader pops up.
via ONE.
CM10 won't load. home and back buttons lit constantly

Hi. This just happened to me as well, trying to flash CM 10.1.3 to get a GPS lock from a sense rom. Problem is, I can't get to the bootloader and the menu/back lights don't stop flashing. So there's no point where they stop flashing and I can then use the volume button to get to the bootloader. And they stay lit even when I am not pressing anything. I could use some help here.. hate to think I've bricked this very expensive slab of metal. Thanks.
Same problem.
Somebody please help.
EDIT:
Solved. Bright light trick.
Shine a bright light on it and press + hold power and vol down. Make sure the twin sensors aren't covered.
Thanks guletz - you just saved me a call (or a visit) to the Sprint store.

This is also happening to most of the sprint 4.3 custom roms. Not sure if everyone is building on top of the same rom image or fimrware issues...let me know if anyone is getting the same issues after flashing any of the sprint custom roms.

[Q] Won't turn on...

Help. I was in a Facebook message conversation and I tried to send a picture from my phone to my friend. When I did so the screen turned black (notification bar was still visible) and nothing would respond, be it the power button, home button, whatever, nothing worked. So I held the power button until it turned off and and then tried to turn it on. It seemed to boot but after the splash screen I just got a black screen. I pressed the power button, the home and back keys flashed for a long while and then it turned off and now it won't turn on. If I plug it into the charger it also won't react, no charge light, nothing. It doesn't even get warm.
Right now I DO NOT have the money to get a new phone so if anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.:crying:
Oh, forgot to mention that everything is stock, no roots, no mods, no nothing.

What happens when you press the power button + the volume down button? That should normally bring you into the bootloader. From there you could do a factory reset.

Plug you phone into the computer, have a look in device manager does it say QHSUSB_DLOAD ?
if so you have a hard brick, theres 1 of 2 things you can do, you can try this and risk voiding your warranty (if its still under warranty......http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770684
Or you can send it back to where you brought it and have it repaired / replaced.
Well, there's no warranty and sending it in would cost me around a hundred dollars in shipping plus the return shipping plus any repairs so that's not really a viable solution. The power button and volume down didn't work. I had actually tried it. Didn't get a chance to try the QHSUSB_DLOAD thing but I doubt it as I had gone through all the updates in sequence and the last one was whenever the Sense 6 update came out so it had been fine for weeks with no hitch.
Yesterday I went to the places that fix phones to see if any of them could help and then suddenly at one of them (the first one wanted me to leave it with them and I didn't feel they were trustworthy enough, the second was about to try to open it without even knowing how so I stopped him before he could break it, the third one wouldn't even look at it and suggested I send it in to the htc repair center which doesn't exist in this country). At the 4th place it miraculously started working but I don't know how long it will keep on that way.
Thanks for the help and the suggestions.

[Q] I9305 weird problem

Hi guys,
I hope you're all well.
I recently opened up my i9305 to remove a buggy power button whilst at it I was looking at the vibration motor. I reassembled it, placed it on charge. And it didn't respond instantly as usual, after a few minutes the red led light turns on but nothing else? What's weird is that when I press the home button the red led light will disappear for a few moments and then reappear. There's no way I can turn it on because I've got no power button, no splash screen comes up whilst charging.
Does anybody know what's going on? I'd appreciate any help

My Nexus One screen not working after changing upper motherboard

Hi! Hope all of you are well
My problem is that about the title, I had to change upper motherboard because dead Power and +/- Volume buttons. Between my brother and I did the job, we put all in the same way the old mobo was, the phone charges until charge LED goes green as normal, the new Power button works because when I press it the phone does the typical boot vibration, but screen dead, it doesn't show nothing, even after waiting a few minutes until it fully boots the OS the Home, Menu, Back and Search buttons doesn't vibrate after pressing them
Any help and suggestions will be well received and appreciated
Thanks in advance!
