Hi,
I tried to install TWRP Recovery via ODIN, but I loaded the .tar.md5 file into BOOTLOADER section instead of PDA.
Phone is stuck on Samsung logo, but I can access ODIN MODE and I can flash files.
How to recover the phone?

Flash stock JB firmware over it,if you were on JB. Do not flash P firmware over non P phone and vice versa.
Flash stock firmware with Odin.

Hi,
so I bricked my galaxy mini after flashing gingerbread with odin. It gets stuck at samsung logo but the bootloader and recovery(custom) still work. The problem is that I cant flash a new rom because odin cant recognise the bootloader. I think its because gingerbread replaced the stock froyo bootloader so it cant be recognised by odin.
Any help plz. Thanx in advance
boot into download mode through vol down + home + power button then flash firmware through odin
I f the custom recovery works download a rom for galaxy mini , put it on sd card , flash it and boot into android

I tried that but it says installation aborted. I think its because the rom isn't signed. I will be grateful if someone suggests signed custom roms that can be flashed by the android system recovery. Thx in advance

try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2093195
Rename the ops file in the right format.
For example if it was S5570_tass_v1.0.ops, Rename it to tass_v1.0.ops and try flashing it again. This helps it to get recognized in Odin and can unbrick the device.

I tried flashing it. Still installation aborted
download latest kies and install it and then reboot your system
after that try to flash
I tried everything I could on the responses but still odin could not recognise my phone. Tried flashing CWM with android system recovery it succeeds but when I boot recovery I find the android system recovery.
My question now is how I can flash CWM without using odin or android system recovery? I will b very grateful if I find the solution. Thnx in advance
Had to take it for repair
i instaledl twrp via odin on my s advanced 4.1.2 , after that the phone stuck on boot , i cant go to recovery mode , only download mode, any solution?
Why did you do that?
Flash a new firmware via Odin.... LQB Jellybean
Go to download mode, flash a firmware via Odin.
Galaxy s Advance i9070 16gb Stuck at boot logo, not booting to recovery (getting buffer logo), going to download mode.
Things i performed.
1.Service center guys told no hardware issue. Tried Jtag.
2.Tried odin Jellybean Stock (single pda file, tried twice with and without pit file),flash successful still stuck at boot logo and not booting to recovery.
3.Tried Flashing Diffrent Jellybean Bootloader via odin. Dint work.
3.Tried downgrading to Gingerbread through odin(single pda file, tried twice with and without pit file),flash successful still stuck at boot logo and not booting to recovery.
4.After downgrading to GB tried flashing Twrp kernel.tar through odin. Flash successful only counter got raised, problem still exist.
Only thing that's working is download mode, Recovery doesn't work (getting buffer logo) And Phone Doesn't boot not even boot animation , Its stuck at boot logo that says galaxy s advance.
When connected to charger or usb getting that buffer symbol,Doesn't shows battery charging icon.
May be separate pda files that has bootloader, phone, modem&csc will work? Cause i tried single pda file and was unable to find separate files.
Please Help.
Hello,
Go here and download PIT for your device. Go in SamMobile and download a package for your device (I suggest I9070XXLQL baseband) doesn't matter if you already own it, download a new one. Extract .tar.md5 from downloaded package, open Odin and press PDA (AP in Odin versions after 3.07) button choosing extracted .tar.md5 file, press PIT button and choose PIT file extracted from ZIP package of that thread, tick "Repartition" option in Odin and flash

Any reply will be appreciated.....
I downloaded several versions of CWM for S3 Mini (e.g. PhilZ CWM, 6.0.3.2, 6.0.2.7, 6.0.2.8. touch...), all installable via Odin. I put TAR into PDA and click Start, Odin show message that update is successful (after 6 seconds) but when I enter into Recovery mode, there is still native Android recovery.
My device is not rooted and it has original 4.1.2. android. I tried to change Recovery first in order to root it. What am I doing wrong? I also have Galaxy S3 and I can change Recovery which I want, so I am not noobie in custom recovery install procedure via Odin.
Please, help because S3 Mini is mystique for me

for s3 mini all version we must use odin v3.09 and up
Huh, I tried also with Odin 3.09 and it didn't work. Odin notifies that file is uploaded but still I have original recovery. Any other idea?
