Hi! I m from Bangladesh....my s advance is ok on its stolk android version 2.3.x . But when i flash a custom rom
on my device evry time it fails to connect my local network.....when i return on stolk rom network is ok....
for this reason i cant use the upgrade android version on my device... How can i solv this problem ?
I need help. Plz help me....

Do factory reset, it is a must when you change ROM.

To flash android 4.X.X costom rom u need to upgrade your phone to official Jellybean 4.1.2 first. And which rom are u trying to flash ?

When you flash a custom rom your baseband is conservated, so yo can connetc your device to your carrier network, if not serch for the APN's or flash your country's modem! and please when you ask for the same thing DON'T OPEN A NEW THREAD!!

That's what I found , it says in the lower page how to gowngrade. But also , try flashing another rom , I tried a lot of roms with 4.2.2 on my i9000 and none was laggy , also try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273317
EDIT: Download i9000 firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and flash with Odin.

repair ur phone
use SUS or PCC or flashing firmware of another region by Flash Tool (bin4ry)

Example problem : Hi was able to unlock i437p 4.1.2 by downgrade to 4.0.4 but wifi didnt work my backup was corrupted and cant find i437p 4.1.2 firmware, i try with clockwork but dont work either i like to know i anyone can help me with a firmware backup or the update or firmware is for the p version.

Just downgrade to Android 4.2.2 then root it, install cwm recovery and flash a pre rooted stock . 101 rom.

Since you have bootloader unlock allowed: no it is not possible to flash anything that requires non stock kernel. All you can flash is stock based roms.

U can flash some stock based custom roms. For 4.3
