First: posting questions in general section is against rules.
Second: those effects are only available at the rear camera

There are dozens of camera apps in the play store and many of them have negative filter.

is it a cost thing or do they believe there TFT Displays are better?
Maybe because HTC doesnt want them using their displays even though Sony makes them. Thats my guess but really I'm not sure.

The Xperia ION's display is stunning, the best Xperia display made by Sony so far.
I think LG makes them. How do you know Sony is behind S-LCD2?
I have both of them.
HTC One X international version and XPERIA TX.
Photos and videos looks better on the TX, thanks to BE, and also TX is better on image details.
The only down side of the TX is viewing angles, which is much better on One X.
Yes, it seems like TX has a much better screen than T. Sad !
Read on phonearena that Sony is behind SLCD 3
JAPAN display to be exact

in the japanese version of the Xperia Z there seems to be a somehting next to the camera lens, perhaps a hole is not the right description, but the "hole" looks similar to the proximity sensors on the front of the phone.
does anyone know what this is for? it doesn't seem to be in the international version of the XZ

god i wish the international versions had an IR blaster
Likewise
But we'll see what the ' Sony One' smartphone brings
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk 2
The International ZL has the IR sensor.. but Z doesn't..
Good to see that Xperia Z (japan) has IR sensor.. though it's not something which we use everyday..
I've read that ZL has default apps which uses infrared which can be used as universal remote...
Just told nonsense.
Well i bought the NTTDocomo version of the Xperia Z..
1. Screen black is almost same as my brothers Xperia Z from uk BUT whites in NTT Z is much better form the uk one.
2. The IR is only to transfer files and there is no app or any endication in the menu that u can use it to control ur tv etc, i tried and installed an app from google play but failed ... Maybe in coming update they will add it ? dono !!
Nttdocomo xs
Here is a photo
Xperia Z NTTD.
Japanese people have been using infrared to send small data such as contacts for such a long time and is always most popular way. That's why you will see most of japanese phones have IR. HTC Butterfly (Droid DNA) in Japan also has IR.
Xperia Theme FIFA from Sony - Brazil World Cup 2014 promotion.

I hate my SP's camera. Picture looks ridiculous when i zoom any picture that taken from my SP.
Now feeling jealous to see a lot of sample image captured from SP. Like, check this thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755010
Can anyone please tell me how can i fix that issue or improve camera quality, currently i'm using eXistenz Ultra 3.3.0 ROM & Xperia M Camera Mod by niaboc79.
I use manual mode to take that image on below, please zoom in this photo to see how Ridiculous that is-
To check full resolution image follow this- http://www.arif-khan.net/xda/sample.JPG

I know optical zoom is better rather than digital zoom.
Check this(taken from my phone)- http://www.arif-khan.net/xda/sample.JPG
& also this(taken from another SP)- http://www.arif-khan.net/xda/DSC_0811.jpg
Check quality, Zoom-in etc you can feel the difference.
But is it the phone or the rom?
Could try this Xperia M cam port by dipesh, to see whether any difference..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701096
Seems like having better focus than stock.. one problem though: FC when manually setting iso.
Better keep a cwm backup if you're gonna try this.. I don't know whether it works on existenz rom.

guys , all this photo shot by Cyanogen version OR from ZUI version?
Is Zuk Z1 able to capture photo spheres using Google Camera app? Can anyone test and post a sample? I'd love to check the quality. Tia.

the pictures that i posted used COS Camera.
Beamed from my Nexus 5
Zuk Z1.
In comparison to the quality of my older Samsung Note 2, the Samsung wins, even at the lower resolution.
The reviews of the Zuk did say the camera was not all that good considering it is a Sony.
Can you recommend which camera is the best for our Zuk Z1 mobile? Using Cyanogen OS camera and it doesn't give me good quality photos. Are the pictures better on Cyanogen OS or Cyanogenmod 12.1 Nightly or there is no difference?
I've tried both and I haven't seen any differences, I found a better quality on Google Camera
I've got open Camera on. Its very customisable. Had it for the Nexus 5, known for its terrible camera, I'd say it is the best. Mostly I do video calls to my love 3000 miles away
:'(
