Have you been wishing you could easily control your music and notifications with a Daydream app? Then I may have something for you! I released this a few months back and have been working on making it better learning from what users liked or disliked. Sadly I have learned its tough to get the word out through the Play Store only. So without further ado please check out:
Musical Daydream https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.packruler.musicaldaydream.release
Features:
- On-screen controls to skip to the next or previous song and play or pause
- Full screen album art (can be made only the width of the screen as well)
- Scrolling album art (when full screen)
- Immersive display (hidden nav bar and nav bar is translucent when brought back)
- Ability to launch daydreaming from launcher. **NOTE** Samsung has tweaked their builds in a way such that this does not work.
- Multiple UI preference controls including transparency and screen timeout while music is not playing and much more
- Gesture controls:
-- Swipe to the left to skip to the next
-- Swipe to the right to skip to the start or previous song
-- Swipe down to play or pause
- Notification display:
-- Active non constant notification icons will be displayed
-- Tap and hold on a icon to display the expanded notification
-- Release to make notification expanded display go away but leave notification active
-- Swipe up from icon to keep it displayed after release
-- Swipe down from icon clears the displayed notification from the screen if kept open or clears it from status bar completely
--Applications can have their notifications blacklisted and they will not appear in the notification display in the dream
Do you enjoy listening to music on your phone while its docked or charging but don't like having to wake it up to see what's playing or skip to the next song? Then this app will blow your mind.
This is a daydream that displays beautiful album art and metadata from many music applications including initially designed for Google Play Music but works with Pandora, YouTube, and many more.
I plan to update this app as much as I can and always love hearing new ideas and figuring out ways to improve. Please join our Google+ Community:
https://plus.google.com/communities/103689530453554898843 for news on what I plan to do or if you have any issues or ideas for new features
The free version is not updated as often as the paid version and can be a versions behind for a while so buy the full version to keep up with the awesomeness!!
Tried some others, this is definitely the best!
One request - could we show the battery level percentage? I know the phone's charging because of the notification light, but can't see the status when daydreaming.
Thanks!
Great idea. I haven't really had a chance to delve into that yet. But hopefully will be able to add it in the near future
Excellent!
I notice my phone was getting warm (not hot) with Musical Daydream, I've disabled the art scrolling to see if it helps, although it means the album art is now zoomed in to fit the screen, which I guess is the trade-off
Sorry to hear its warming up. There is an option to disable the full screen album art just above the option to disable the scrolling art. Another cause of the warming could be the screen staying full brightness for an extended period, make sure "Dimming While Dreaming" is enabled.
Thanks, unfortunately the issue still exists...
I've switched off Full Screen album art, and ensured Dimming is set (the screen is dim as per normal daydream/docked behaviour).
It's odd because my phone is basically idle, eg no notifications coming in, just sitting there charging and playing music. I'm concerned that the heat will mean charging will take longer.
Anyways, I'm happy enough for now, will keep using, so far my phone hasn't gotten overly hot!
EDIT: it seems to stay warm (it's a bit cooler than before though) even when music has finished.
I had a bit of free time today and was able to get battery status implemented. It has been sent to Google and should appear in the beta release channel soon. I will look into your heat issues soon.
Just checking in, haven't seen the updated version on the Play store yet, looking forward to checking it out.

Are you in the beta release channel? I haven't had enough time to verify everything is good enough for release just yet, may be ready for public release Wednesday or Thursday. I'm fairly certain its stable but wanna make sure.
To join beta channel join this Google+ group: https://plus.google.com/b/102824217485737940292/communities/103689530453554898843

Thanks!!
Glad you like it!! I have pushed 1.3.9 with battery status integration to public channel. I have a few more planned updates coming soon and would love to hear some ideas for improvements.

I recommend BubbleUpnp works much better than this supports upnp local server, remote server, remote control points etc

While BubbleUPNP may be great for what it does it is meant for a fairly different use. It is a media player that uses remote data using UPNP protocol. Musical Daydream on the other hand is a Daydream app that controls other media players on the device and displays media metadata.
Sorry it took so long school and work have kept me busy the past couple weeks but I finally have finished a beta build with full access to Google.com/Fonts selection! Each font will be downloaded upon selection and the next time you go to select fonts this option will be displayed in its proper font.
Please let me know if you have any issues. Should be close to production release.
The ability to change the dream's font is now available in public release 1.5. Enjoy!
Just loaded this app and love the concept. One request that I have is to display clock/date/alarm information. I use the clock daydream when I go to bed, so either I have to switch daydreams on a daily basis, or hope that your app will display clock, date and alarm information, even when music isn't playing.

I am experiencing the hot phone issue as well, even when music is not playing, with full screen image and scrolling. After it cools down, I will turn off scrolling to see if that helps.

RockOn is a music player for Android. It has a nice all-graphic UI interface making it the player of choice if you prefer browsing your music library by album art.

Enjoy! =]
it seems good but:
album art only tagged on mp3, not using ***.jpg as album art
how i can turn it off? it always stays on the notification bar
NO EQ again
Force closes too much, doesn't play nice with autorotate. Would be awesome if it worked like it was desingned to work.
The UI is kinda cool looking but I couldn't figure out how to skip to the next track and it kept turning on my GPS. Maybe try it again in the the future if it gets better.
It's always resident and seems like it's a bit of a resource hog. Uninstalled it today.
feedback
Hi guys,
Im the developer of RockOn and just now I found this thread. Please note that it is in its enfancy andyour feedback is most appreciated on how to improve...
To the points...
1. Resource hog - It currently has some memory leaking - this is most problematic when you rotate the screen a lot... Im working hard at solving this but the leak is a ***** to find...
2. Album Art - It should use your mp3 embedded art... it only downloads if it is not there or if it cannot open the embedded art (at least this is how it is intended to work... )
3. GPS - it uses it to give you concerts around you... it should not be using it if you re not using the concerts... I'll check it down
4. Always on - it has now an Exit menu option that finishes the app .
5. forward/rewind - just slide your finger over the song name to the left/right to rewind/forward.
Its great to have feedback!
I have put it on the market today (costs 1.33 GBP/1.99USD) but it will always be free through the website.
http://abrantix.org/rockon.php
Have fun,
Filipe
It doesnt seem to work for me, never fully loads up and always force closes. Think it might be cuz i have the Lucid RC33 mod?
@^^^
nah...its got nothing to do with the Lucid Mod...i have it on my fone too..and its working..so its got to be some other problem..!!!
Hey fabrantes,
I'm really like your music player just one suggestion though, the background of the player is kind of ugly. It would be cool if you offered different themes or the ability to change the background. Other than that I really like the flow and look of the app.

hi,
could you guys provide me the phone log when the app break. It is really helpful...
If you need instructions here is how to do it:
1.Install Android SDK from:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/1.1_r1/index.html
2.Then follow steps 2 and 3 in the 'Setting up a device for development' section of:
http://developer.android.com/guide/d...ng/device.html
3. Then Open up the ddms application under the folder 'tools' of the android SDK:
then if everything went ok, ddms has started and your device is listed on the left panel. Just click on it and start RockOn. Once the app has crashed use the 'export selection as text' (disk icon) of the Log panel on the bottom of the ddms window.
This kind of feedback is invaluable, otherwise is like really hard work...
thanks a lot!
Filipe
is it possible to have a changelog on the website so we know when there is an update?
thx
Fabrantes please try to put a simple EQ inside the player.
a 5 bands EQ is enough.
It's very buggy for me, and seems incomplete?
I don't see any rewind, forward or any other buttons?
It only ever shows album art for one album .... when all of my mp3's are correctly tagged and contain album art.
In fact, the Android OS in general never seem to recognise any of the album art from my files??
Keep working on it though, it has potential!
hi
to know when there is an update you can follow me on twitter (fabrantes) I usually post it there when something happens. I'll will also begin to post a changelog in the entry page.
also you can check the root dir to know exactly which version you are trying
http://abrantix.org/files/rockon/
EQ - this is tricky to implement I dont think android let's you mess with the sound [does any other player implement it?], can't promise anything ...
A few people complain about the album art not being recognised. What happens exactly? You have the art embedded on your mp3 files (not a jpg on the dir), and it is recognised on the default player but not on RockOn, or it is not recognised in any player.
Rewind/Forward/Next/Song list are all implemented in RockOn:
Rewind/Forward - slide finger left/right over the song name.
Next - tap the song name
Song list - press & hold the song name
cheers,
Filipe
Dude, currently the song list is ordered alphabetically, can you change it to be ordered by track number?
can you also add support for playlists?
Hi thanks for the feedback.
Will make the song list by track order in future releases (next week maybe).
Playlist support is also on the roadmap but will take a little bit more time (maybe in 1 month...) as I am not sure yet on how to include it on the current UI (suggestions are quite welcome). My first choice would be to have a menu option that lets you chose the current playlist - then the rest of the UI would be pretty much the same.
BTW, just today I have released a new version that fixed the memory leak problem... It was rather hard to find but now its fixed (RockOn is no more a resource hog and you can rotate your phone at will without any force closes......)
cheers
App looks great in the screenshots, but I keep getting "RockOn (process org.abrantes.filex) has stopped unexpectedly" every time I load the app. The first time I load the app, after installing v10, it looks for album artwork and then says tap to start, then crashes. Also, the notification always shows that is playing a song, yet I don't hear it. I have a 14gb music library on my sdcard and it has worked with tunewiki, mixzing and the built-in player. But, your app looks like what I have been looking for.
I am using JF RC33 1.42 firmware.
Another suggestion; add preference for artist image > album art in the library, as a folder like hierarchy, probably with a back to artists button. I'm sure last.fm will let you fetch an image of the artist?
Also, another preference for labeled albums would be handy.

It might be nice to have this, right now it downloads the artist image if it cannot get the album art. One of the problems is that last.fm tends to have really low-def images of the artists (the album are usually ok...)
somewhere in the future i plan to get flickr/picasa/... into the picture to have images of live performances etc going around ... songbird has a plugin that does just that and when it works wellit gives really a nice feeling...

how do I actually get this? Is there an apk for it or is available on the market or something? Cuz I didn't see a link for downloading it when i checked the website. Just more information about what it did. Thanks in advance.
Search for 'Photo BURST' in the market.
thanks for the quick response. Checking now..
Just checked this on Market.
Wanted to say thanks for an amazing app!
The stock gallery app was pretty poor especially compared to iphone etc, but with this new app I can really enjoy my pics in style! Slideshow is a standout - especially collage!
Suggestions would be to add exclude folder option and tagged images.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all the feedback on this app.
We have just released an update 1.0.1 which improves picture quality and fixes all known bugs from the original release.
Please let us know how everyone gets on with the new update.
Much more coming soon ...
Wow just tried the demo of this app and it's looking good. Like the features you've introduce so far. Could be a really good app.
It does keep crashing after the phone goes to sleep though for me. I'm on CyanogenMOD 4.0.4 ATM. If this can be fixed I think it will be one of my next purchases.
Thanks for the feedback.
Another user just reported going to sleep resume issue so we'll look into that next.
Released update 1.1 :
- Ping.Fm = 1 click send to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, etc.
- Zoom sensitivity option
- Folder gallery bg color option
More coming soon ...
Awesome looking app. Seems like after a few minutes it just goes to sleep and my phone is totally unresponsive for a minute.
Running on a G1 with apps on SD card
Great job so far.
Some ideas/thoughts:
1. The scrolling is a bit weird. Almost like it's scrolling faster than I'm moving my finger. Instead of it being 1:1 it seems to be scrolling further than I want as I move.
2. It would help a lot if the size of the folder buttons was larger. The first screen where you see the listing of all the directories on your card that have photos. I've missed the button I want a few times since they aren't tall enough for a satisfying hit area.
3. If I choose "share" from any image, choose gmail for instance, and send or discard the message, when it drops me back into the app I see the splash screen and then the directory chooser again. Not the image I was just looking at. Frustrating!
4. That splash screen has to go. It makes sense for the indexing part, but when there is no indexing, or in the case of coming back to the app like I mentioned above, it's annoying.
That aside, it's looking pretty good! The last update improved IQ greatly. No more color banding on gradients!
The latest update (1.1.2) fixed #3 from my previous post. Nice!
Thanks for feedback - released update 1.1.2 :
- Ping.Fm = 1 click send to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, etc.
- Zoom sensitivity option
- Folder gallery bg color option
- Help guide
More coming soon including delete option.
Very nice app, however i find the double tap / circular zoom procedure a bit difficult to master. I would certainly pay for app if it supported multi touch zoom as well.
Best rgds,
Geir
features to add
this application is great as it stands, beautiful UI very well done transitions its great, but a couple of features i would really like to see would be the ability for this applications to be the default picture grabber for aplications and such instead of the gallery(though this would probably have to be edited on both sides of it yours and the sides of the applications themselves), the second being easily enough done would be the ability to hide folders of pictures from the main page and/or the ability to sort the picture folders as this would eliminate need to remove them just place them somewhere else
There's another bug I found: view a picture, open the hardware keyboard on a G1. The app will exit back out to the splash screen and show you the folder picker again.
Happens on any open/close of the keyboard.
Thanks for the feedback. We'll look into and implement all the suggestions mentioned above :
- flip open issue
- hide folders
- multitouch for rooted / supported phones
- single tap to get zoom wheel
- splash screen only during indexing
- folder icons bigger
- more standard scrolling
Look out for updates soon - also feel free to join our Facebook group :

We have just set up a Facebook group for Photo BURST ... whether you have a G1, Magic, Hero, MyTouch, this page is for your Photo BURST FAQS, tips, hints, requests and anything else you can think of!

Would love a default folder or "exclude" folder option.
I want to show people pics without them having to go through every stupid jpg on the memory card from apps , and would like to avoid them stumbling into pics I want private.
Im aware of privacy folder apps but this app could kill 2 birds with one stone but letting us have the option to open a default folder that it always looks into and opens on program.
Splash screen and indexing need to be minimized and "when needed" only.
Finger swipe and zoom functions are fantastic but cant use as default until those things are implemented.
Thanks for the suggestions. Default folder and exclude folders are both planned for a future update.
We are 50% complete on the new update which significantly reduces loading time and only indexes required thumbnails.
We are also updating all of our apps to include support for Droid so it may take a liitle longer.
We are open to any suggestions for future updates so keep the ideas coming.
Just wanted to get you guys to checkout the new home replacement HOME++ its in the market but its one of the best i have used in awhile and its only in beta.

Update: Download now available from the site.
http://hpp.intuitit.mobi/home
So I installed it........now what?
use it as your home replacement its in beta stage so things can only get better
umm i like it. im still not willing to use any home besides the default just because i like the speed, but this one is very nice. seems a little better in some ways than GDE thats for sure. but GDE isnt free... this is! best part cant wait to see how this develops
this is easily the most responsive and intuitive home replacement app i've used. sweeter home preview 1 was a previous favourite, but the lack of widget support has seen it lag behind and as GDE costs money, i've never used it, even though it looks good.
the bar at the bottom is extremely useful and well thought out, as is the integrated task manager. the fact it can display widgets is great and the option to hide the notification bar is another brilliant idea. i would love to see klaxon support alongside alarm clock support, but that's just me being ridiculous.
all in all, i am looking forward to seeing this home replacement app taking off in a big way.
Looks awesome but could someone post the apk its not warez cause its free I just want to pull the clock out of it I'm on blur which is 1.5 this is complied for 1.6 and 2.0 so it does not show up in my market or if your worried about a mod just PM me with a link please and thanks
I like it, it'll be interesting to see how it develops from here and how the animated widgets turn out.
EDIT: I don't know if the dev's ever visit here but I think it would be nice if the items on the power strip were configurable. As an example I never use the google search or favorites icon, so if they could be disabled that would be awesome. Also the ability that the advanced launcher has to hide apps from the app drawer is awesome, if that could be incorporated as well?
I'm still on 1.5 so this isn't available in my market, but I switched for fun to 1.6 last night and caught this application, I like it. Someone finally hid the notification bar which I think is a nice change.
And apparently you can have semi animated widgets with this HR which is pretty cool
It's really very nice. We only need real replacement for root users.
There shoud be possibility to customize bottom icons - I don't use voice search and I'd replace the icon with something else.
searched for it in the market and realised im on android 1.5. gonna have to switch to 1.6. its worth reflashing just for getting rtid of the notification bar
I like it. I don't know if it will be my replacement home screen, but I might try it for a while.
Well i will try and get the apk or link to it for everyone but the app is in beta so we can make suggestions and make it into the must have home app becuase all the others are just missing that something but this looks promising.
this home screen replacement is the fastest, most responsive and has the best functionality out of all home screens, its almost as fast as stock home screen.
I cant wait to see what they will add or improve over the next weeks since its still beta. Its so fast I cannot think of anything that they could do to improve speed.
I just love the little scroll bar on the bottom, I love the way you can close all apps with function button on bottom.
Hi, it looks promising, i like it.
Very promising !
First of all, let me thank you a lot for this innovative home replacement app.
Thanks !
I really like the features of the bottom bar. Scroll it to see even more elements is great and I was really surprised to see that I could click on the battery, the sound indicator, the network icon, etc. Long press on some icons to access to the related settings menu is another good idea.
To hide the notifiation bar makes my home to seem bigger, really nice
Workspace in a loop is comfortable too.
I noticed two bugs (edit) :
- Sometimes (like 50% of the time), when the phone goes of its "standby" mode (menu to unlock...), the hidden notification bar left a black and empty area on top of the screen. All the home content is displaced down (of the height of the notification bar). If you press the physical home button, everything goes in the right place again. I couldn't find a regular cause to this...
- When you press the notification icon in the bar, the panel appears but there's an empty (and transparent) space on top of the screen. It's not that bad but it's graphically stange and it doesn't occur with other panels (tasks, applications,...).
.:EDIT:.
Ok, I don't know how but I managed to add the Pure Calendar widget. It didn't worked the first times... and now it's ok.
If I'm allowed, I'd like to make some suggestions :
- settings to manage the scrolling bar content (applications, statuts,...)
- BetterCut support (please)
- Add a % indicator for the battery status in the bar
- support for the font packs
I'm trying it right now and I like it, however, I have gotten 4 FC/Wait messages so far when closing out of an application (ie. GMail). Other than that, very nice home replacement. This is the first time I've ever used a home replacement too.

I didn't get a chance to play with it last night much, but I have had the same problem this morning. I added the power, audio, music and pandora widgets and it really slowed it down. I have those same widgets running Cy 4.2.5 with no issues.
I really hope they get this right, it looks really nice.
Download app from website
App can now be downloaded from the site if you cant access market. See first post. Ive got it working fine with pure calender ill upload picture when i get home from work.
App in action
Here you go my homescreen and pure calendar running great.
Its ok.
For BETA I guess thats good.
Needs to be faster and more customizability.
Placing the power strip at top or bottom would be nice , ability to change whats in the power strip.
Do love that you can keep scrolling and get back to main screen.

v1.5 - Ads (hey, there was a donation option, but no one used it, but I will throw up a pro version for $.99 that removes the ads and possibly adds one of the features below a little early)
v2.0 - View comments
v2.0 - Apply filters to wallpapers before saving them (black and white, etc.)
thank you !!!
gtg i had one of your roms on my samsung infuse before i switched also. glad to see you!
Very nicely done. Simple and straight to the point.
At first glance, I thought the button in the app bar was to "download" rather than "load more" photos. I expected the app to automatically load photos as I reached the bottom of the list.
Still, very well done, and its awesome that it automatically grabs a proper sized wallpaper from interfacelift, which is a great site too btw.
Oh my god I love you.
This app is fantastic, thanks!

The next version is coming along nicely. I added auto loading so you don't have to keep pressing the button as well as the ability to map photos that have location information.

Was totally gonna suggest a method to save favorite images. Great work!
Live tiles would be awesome too. Maybe have it pull random or newly added images. Something like that.
Also, not a big fan of the app tile. The app is so Metro-focused, and the tile for the app itself is so completely un-Metro, it just doesn't fit.
v1.1 is in the Marketplace now and I just submitted the final version of v1.2.

Haha. No idea, but when I think of one I'll let you know.
I figure something simple and clear, that conforms with the user's accent color.
Edit: Just threw together something real quick. Simple and to the point, matches the user's accent tile, has both the ApplicationIcon.png and Background.png. Just a phone with a paintbrush in it. Something like that.
Thanks for the idea prjkthack. I went with something very similar to your suggestion.
v1.3 is posted in the first post with a few new screenshots. Get it while it's hot. Give feedback!
Nice to see you're enjoying some WP7 dev work gtg. I'm still enjoying one of your ROMs on my Infuse and picked up an HTC Titan to play around with. Nice work on this app.

Haha. I was totally thinking about that one too, with the brush actually painting something, but I felt a simpler image would have sufficed and was more Metro without getting too complicated or busy.
Looks great! Great work! =]
Just uploaded a slightly newer build of v1.3. Shifted the large tile icon up a couple pixels, changed wording in one place, and fixed the scroll bars that went missing in the previously uploaded version.
Just submitted v1.4 to the Marketplace.
Changes:
App redesigned to incorporate a panorama view with a dynamic background showcasing the latest wallpaper
New Popular page that features the most downloaded wallpapers from the past two weeks
Removed the donation option (no one used it)
Minor bug fix
Screenshots:
As usual, a xap is available for those who are developer unlocked.
v1.4 just dropped in the Marketplace. A couple small changes since the last beta xap was posted. Get it while it's hot.
Also, check out the app after setting your phone theme to light. I don't see many apps with both dark and light themed panorama views (usually they remain the same regardless of your theme), so I took it upon myself to do so.
App doesn't seem to work, it throws a "Can't reach InterfaceLIFT" error every time I open it.
I'm connected to 3G and Wifi, and InterfaceLIFT is up, so what's the deal?
Edit: Apparently, the app stops working entirely if you're connected to a PC when you try to use it (even if Zune isn't running on the PC). Works now, but the background image on the panorama has terrible banding. I believe there's a setting for bit-depth in Visual Studio that fixes this (it's 16-bit by default, needs to be 32bit).

Odd. The app works fine on my Titan and Lumia 800 when they're connected to my computer. What phone do you use?
Also, I don't see any way to set the bit depth of a panorama background. I've only noticed very slight banding on a couple backgrounds, but most don't show any on my Titan or 800.
Snotify is an application that let you set up a schedule for when Notification sounds should be disabled. You can set multiple schedules for email, texts, toast notifications, master volume and vibrate. For each schedule you can set which days of the week it should apply to (much like the built-in alarm app).

You'll also need WP7 Root Tools from http://www.wp7roottools.com/ . I've tested the app on a HTC HD2 with WP7 Root Tools 0.9.
This application relies on a background task to toggle the setting. Unless the "Resource Intensive Task" is allowed to run it may take up to 30 minutes for the application to react. If you do not connect your phone to an external power source you'll have to take this into consideration.
Thanks to Heathcliff74 for making this possible (WP7 Root Tools SDK)!
Cool app
Cool app really like it.Is it possible that you could just add in a full mute? Basiclly I want it to just mute everything during 8:00 to 5:30. Also I hope you add in a feature to allow days such as only running it on monday-friday.
And I have 1 question, what do you mean by this"Resource Intensive Task is allowed to run" is this a registry edit I have to make or something?
Rly neat!
But how about disable vibrate too?
And the ability to create "profiles", in wich you can choose what to mute/disable during given time and days?
That would be really awesome, as you could get a full night of sleep everyday and avoid the humiliation of everyone in class hearing your ridiculous ringtone during workdays

A full mute would be possible, so I'll consider it. A more advanced schedule is possible as well, I just have to decide the way to implement it and find time to do so.
Windows Phone Apps can run either as Periodic or Resource Intensive Tasks/Agents. A Periodic agent runs once every thirty minute, unless the OS decides to delay the execution (most commonly caused by a low battery level). Resource Intensive Tasks can only run when the phone is connected to an external power source, is almost fully charged and got access to an internet connection other than the radio (WiFi or USB to computer). The app uses both but the OS decides whether any of them actually runs.

The notification is disabled, so it applies to the vibration as well. I realize I haven't made this entirely clear.
Thanks for the ideas .

K cool well thanks. I like the app but It doesnt really help me yet since it doesnt do a full mute. I will be waiting for a full mute. Also you should get your app onto Bazzar.
Suggest you to implement live tile which will allow anybody to turn off any of the notification instantly.
I would have loved control on the volume but turning of is what most of the people do.
Thanks for the App, Works on my Samsung Focus 8107.
if you can add call ring support
thanks ... testing
require setting the ringer volume
Thanks for all the suggestions. The next version will include two new settings, "Master Volume" and "Vibrate". Hopefully I'll be able to release it on Sunday.
Master Volume = Turn off the volume for all types of sounds and notifications, including ringtone. The phone will still vibrate for calls and notifications.
Vibrate = Turns off vibrations for ring and all notifications. Sounds will still be played.
Using Master Volume + Vibrate together will completely silence the phone.
Adding Secondary Tile support will only save one click and take a few hours to implement, so I'm not going to include it in this release.

Johan

in the future you can add flight mode control
and can you pls add option for twice a day?
Will this work on a lumia 900? I just came from android and I was hoping I can find an app for this same exact type of feature. Hopefully It works. Thanks dev.
Version 1.1 is now available with support to disable all sounds and/or vibrations.
duhhh: Sorry, flight mode is a bit out of the scope for this application. This would not work for most people anyway, since disabling flight mode requires you to re-enter your SIM PIN code.
idelgado782: The application should not be phone specific, but it requires that you unlock your phone and that it properly supports WP7 Root Tools. Unfortunatelly I don't think this is available for Lumia 900 yet.
Yea I started reading and that's what I figured so far. I have to keep an eye for the unlock so then I can use this app!!! Thanks for your reply.
Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express
Really Like version 1.1 but still waiting/hoping for a day by day mute schedule.
Also is it possible you could add a feature or something that does the following.
I need it to mute everything at 8:05 but right now it is 7:40. so when it checks again 30mins later it will be 8:10 and will be too late. So could it calculate or figure that out and mute its self at 7:40 because it would otherwise mute too late.

I'm planning to add a schedule like the built in alarm app, but it didn't make it to 1.1. Your other idea is great as well, so i'll put it on the todo-list .
Regards
Johan
K cool well as soon as you add the schedule feature I will be using this app daily.
Thanks for the APP, can you add "airplane mode" control to it? It maybe very useful.
Would be nice if we have daily options like "disable only on Monday at 8AM-4PM"
You know...School is school
