I get my Weather from 1W and I do not need Google's Weather cards.

I think you can disable it by editing the options in Google Now on your phone.
Once Google Now is open click Customize then click Everything Else.
It states "Interested in weather updates for...." Then Yes or No.
I have work and home weather updates.

Seriously what is the use of live tiles if they don't update? For exsample the tile for battery status, weather, clock??? You have to click and open the app in order for them to up date properly or at all. I really hope MS fixes this otherwise can they really be called live tiles?
Not MS's fault, but the developers/users who do not understand how live tiles work.
I have live tiles for clock/weather (HTC), various people, various games, podcasts, etc...
Mine all work as intended.
Of course, you have to test apps to see what does what you want.
Not all do all.

Yeah the HTC has the weather tile HTC hub that works all other phones have 3rd party apps that don't update properly

nokia weather updates perfectly.
the rest ist a problem with the developer. sometimes they just update live if the tiles are bigger

Individual people, phone, text, email, and store all show a number in small.
I forgot all about that (even though my screen is riddled with them).

I wonder if there is any way to make the Accuweather widget to update the location automatically ?
I come from a Note 2 which widget automatically updates its location, and it is something I lack.
Of course the possibility to pickup something from the Play Store remains but still I would be keen to use
the genuine apps.

On my one you click on the app which makes the settings appear in the top right corner, then you can set it to use your location every half hour, you also have to allow location services in phone settings.

Ah ok I see what you're saying, after coming to work my phone still says my old location and I've been here more than half an hour, but even then it's not exactly accurate.

Thank you for your reply. I have already done that. the weather forecasts and trends are updated every hour (it's the way I have set it up) but not the location.
The Sony-built-in News/Weather widget allows this, by the way. There is Accuweather and then there is "News & Weather". See if that works for you.

Indeed, the Sony widget is updating its location. I'm going to stick with it a bit.
The Samsung Note 2 has a great S Note application where one can write notes and add pictures on there along with Audio Notes. Is there something similar to this application that is available or can be added to the HTC ONE? Is there one that comes with it or is there a way to get one similar to the one that comes with the Samsung Note 2 on there?
Instead of just having a basic note application where one can just types notes with no pictures or no audio. Anyone here able to help with this?

Evernote is an application that requires you to save everything on their server. No privacy this way and you have to upload and download everything from them every time you need something. Last but not least they charge you for storage space and you do not have the option to only keep info on your device only if I am not mistaken. Would prefer an application just like the one on on the Samsung Note 2 called the S-Note.

Permissions and privacy invasions are like that of Evernote. That Toggle sync pretty much gives them control over turning and over riding your sync options meaning if you turn sync off they can turn it on and sync if they want to.

Fairly confident that s-note is the same way, but you don't really see it since its already installed on your phone.

Is that an option to sync with Samsung/SCloud or a must like Evernote? I did not know that all of the SNotes were synced to the Samsung Cloud Servers.

Nothing pops up when you hit the menu key. Pretty much no option once you enter. All you see is what I posted.

My blinkfeed and the identical clock widget on my homescreen do update the weather but only show the current location as United kingdom ( the weather app also shows united kingdom and not the city), after searching the forums, main solutions seemed to be unticking fast boot, however i have done that and no luck, any ideas how i can get the it show the location i'm at? google locations, gps, wifi , data all on and still doesn't update to the location.

I have to update mine manually most times. I've had a quick look at trying to change the widget to just a clock because I don't need the weather bit

Remove it then put it back on
I had a similar problem in the beginning. Make sure some Google location services are on and also untick the fast boot option... Both of these are in so e sort of settings screens. Then restart

I had tried everything and was to give up and take it back to the store for an exchange until i got to town and realised it had fixed itself, coming back home, it had changed back to united kingdom, guess it's just my house. Thanks a lot for everyone's help !! Xda has a great community
I've been looking for answers to this question and can't seem to quite find a solid answer. I am trying to get the weather to display on my Gear. When I try to go to the weather app on the watch I am told to select a city on the phone, which I have. If I use the weather clock face it says no weather info. After clicking on that it then tells me to turn on use current location under gear manager>weather. I have messed with the weather widget and turned on all location settings but it just will not push the data to the gear. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW I am running stock gear on a Note 2 with Sky Note 4.3 ROM.
I'm having the same problem on SkyNote 4.3. Anyone know how to fix this?
OP where are you selecting the city? It may be different but for me I had to go into location services and enable it.

I selected the city from the stock weather widget. I have all location services on and use current location checked in the weather widget settings.
