Battery calibration is a myth guys!
its used to fight the memory effect, which doesnt exist in Li-ion batterys.

Battery on charger gets drained using Tomtom

I am using Tomtom on my Raphael in a carholder and carcharger. I know GPS/Tomtom uses a lot of battery but my battery gets drained eventhough it is hookedup on the carcharger.
Does any body have a clue if my battery has a defect of maybe the charger isn't powerfull.
I have logged it all. Logfile

This is a known issue. All you can do is try to keep your phone cool so it will continue to charge.
Overheating causes it to stop. You can flash a different radio ROM to see if it hepls your issue

Please help!!! Battery problem.

my problem is whenever i connect my phone to the charger in not more than 5minutes at most it signals that the battery is full. after i disconnect it, in less than 5minutes it says battery low. if i leave the phone on the charger overnight it can sustain half the day. the problem started wen i flashed the custom rom [PORT][ROM][2.3.6 XWKT7] ➣ Adrenaline™ ROM[Latest Update: 4/06/2012]. I have tried wiping battery stats so many times in so many different ways and consulted so many websites still cant find anything useful. any better solutions to this problem are welcome

And you believed that it is full charged already after charging for let's say 30minutes? Let it charge up to 3hrs. Then we can say that it is really full charged.

Yeap, you shoud uninstall andrenaline script if you installed that and test.
If not, unplug your battery for a minute, charge your phone for about 2 hours without turning on, then download on GPlay the app CPU Spy, closes all apps, unplug the charger and lock the screen, wait some hours without touch the phone. After that, run CPU Spy and check if "Deep Sleep" was used most time...
If not, you shoud try reflash your ROM, or try another ROM... or try another Battery...
Just ideas, I hope this help with something...

What ROM? Try to go back to full stock and see what happens.

pull it off and see if it is not bloated, same thing happened to me, battery started behaving strange and i kept switching roms, but only replacement could save it....
Or try another charger, maybe it's the charger and not the phone

[Q] Xperia TX Battery Problem

Dear all, I would like to ask, why my phone battery always drop to 0% suddenly when it was about 40% or 30% few seconds before?
I'm currently using CM11 ROM and I have tried to calibrate the battery but it is not working.
Is that possible that the problem is comes from my physical battery but not my ROM?
Please help!! Thanks!! :crying:

If it stays at 0% for a long time, then it could just be a calibration problem (although I haven't had any problems with any CM11 ROMs), but if not, it's most likely worn out; buy a new battery!

May I ask what do you mean "stays at 0% for a long time"?
By the way I guess a battery that used for 2 years should be quite old already right? Hmm have to consider letting it retired hahaha.

Some phones display the battery having "0%" left, but still have energy left and the phone stays on; that usually just shows a calibration error.

Nope. The sudden drop to 0%, means 0%, the phone cannot be turned on anymore. :crying:
So I think it is really my physical battery problem then.. Thanks a lot for your answer!

I've encountered the same issue with my Xperia V. Phone always turned off at around 20%..
Replacing the two-years old battery with a new one fixed this issue and got me an additional hour of screen-on-time in addition.

first of all you need to find the processes which drains the battery a lot. install battery monitor app from google play and use it couple days to collect info regarding processes. also you can try to flash custom kernel

you recommend me some kernel ?, to help me improve the battery life, but without losing much potential in terms of my device, I am currently in the rom resurection remix (nougat 7.1.2 compilation 26/8/2017) ??? ?
