[Q]Problem with CM7

Hey guys, I have a lil prob with CM7 by squadzone. Whenever I switch from 2g network to 3g network the packet data restarts. It does not happen in stock rom or CM9. Can anyone help me out solving this? And can anyone pls tell me which folder in a ROM deals with the settings menu ?

There is no such kind of problem with my mini running cm7
so if u would like then try reflashing the rom

Try changing the network from 2g to 3g while using the packet data..the packet data will restart. BTW which ROM are you using as base?

i'm on cm7.2 rom

there is no need to worry about it
its not a problem
it could be because it needs to restart to change the data network from 2g to 3g

Issues with hidden sid wifi

Although I've added an hidden sid network, the tab cannot connect to it. I have to unhide the sid to make it connect... is there a workaround for this?
I don't have this problem with HTC Sensation, it can connect and it can also detect hidden sids with some wifi apps, my tab nor does connect, nor does detect with the same app...

Which ROM? Which kernel? Is it Honeycomb or an IceCreamSandwich ROM? Someone out there might help you with more details.
I haven't had those issues and my SSID is hidden, although I am using the AOKP ROM. I remember the stock 3.1 firmware having some Wi-Fi SSID issues, but they were kinda rare.

Have you tried an alternate kernel?

I've just installed motley kernel but haven't tried yet to connect to a hidden net.

TAJB V6 - No mobile network

Hi,
I came from Stock Android 2.3.6 JW6 and flashed Team Android Jelly Bean V6 on my GT-I9000. Now I do not have a connction to the mobile network (which is T-D1 in Germany).
I must not put in my PIN, so I thingk the system cannot read my mobile provider's SIM card ...
any help or tipps? I just looked in the forums for TAJB, but found nothing ...

Hey
For using TAJB u need to come from cm9 (as far as the old versions are flashed..)
Plus you can try toggling aeroplane mode..if it don't work..then downgrade to2.3.6 and REMOVE ur sim pin..upgrade to cm9...and then flash TAJB...
And toggle aeroplane mode for mobile data...(after following the above steps..on TAJB rom)

Hello, I m using a s5570I device and I have the follow problem:
-sometimes when I am using wifi or 3g the network connection stops working. The wifi/3g is on but the internet refuse to work. When this happens the solution is to reboot the phone.
Can you help me with this problem please?

Are you on stock or custom rom?In both cases i suggest you to reflash it and see if the problem has gone away..it could also be a baseband problem so be sure to take the most recent and suitable one for your country

Stock ROM. It makes the same even after fresh flash rom.

3g problems could depend on your apn settings..be sure that you have the right settings..What about baseband?Is that the right version for your country?Anyway i suggest you to move to a custom rom to improve user experience

Not so many custom roms for my galaxy mini plus device. And are lots of roms with huge bugs. APN settings are right.

[Q] Regarding Mobile Data ...

Hi, actually i have two questions :
First: i am using a JB Leak XXLSC ( Ultimate 5.1 In particular), the rom is awseome but
when it come to mobile data connection its disappointing. When the mobile date is connected
to any gsm (2g) network the connection is stable and does not drop but when i connect to any
wcdma (3g) network the connection is awful it just keep connection for 10 20 seconds maximum
then drop for while and reconnect again and the same happens always. I changed the modem and
used XXLSC XXLRK DDLR1. Note that when using any aosp rom with DDLR1 i have perfect 3g
connection. any one faced the problem may help me with a solution ?
Second: I've noticed that all tw based roms connects to HSPAP (H+) network which have the highest
speed (20mb/s), but when using any aosp rom (cm9,cm10,aokp,cna,slimbean) the maximum speed
i get is HSDPA (12mb/s), so why is that? anyone care to explain
