Hi there. Updated my familiar's Lumia 525 to Lumia Cyan and noticed that lock screen wallpaper (preinstalled ones) are changed, old ones were removed (except one that was already chosen on Lumia Black software). She wanted to see those backgrounds again and I have found them on that site (in Russian). Now I have an idea to collect all the wallpapers that were presented in Windows Phone including 7.0, 7.5, 7.8 (if it different between versions) and 8.1. And of cource I want to get them with maxed out quality which is 1080p for the 8.1 and probably 720p because there were no phones with 1080p screens on Windows Phone 7 platform.
Problem is, there is no way to get those wallpapers from the stock phone. You need to have Full File System Access to get those pictures. I have downloaded leaked Windows Phone 8.1 Emulator image, but there were only Windows Phone 8 (GDR 0 to 3) wallpapers there (but 1080p quality, same ones that were presented on site above). So my request is only applicable to the interop-unlocked Lumias, if the phones like 920 has this location:
(Phone):\Windows\SYSTEM32\lockscreen\1080x1920

I don`t know the location for WP7.X devices, but think it should be somewhere there it.
Also there would be nice if someone will provide maxed out lockscreen backgrounds from the current version of the Live Lock Screen app for Microsoft. If they are not protected somehow, all you need is to install the app to SD Card and then use @djamol method. Any Windows Phone 8.1 updated device should be up to do this. I tried to just move the app on my device from the phone storage to SD card, but then there is no Install folder I can copy files from. Doesn`t want to loose my background settings by reinstalling directly to SD card.

Yes, webserver app is working, but there's only 480x800 wallpapers on my Lumia 620 with latest 8.1 Developer Preview (I has reasons not to update to Cyan at now and it`s unavailable for me OTA)
I need 1080p ones (should be present on any 930/Icon, 1520 or Incoming HTC One M8)

Oh. It would be great if it will work. I have Navifirm+ with full access, so can you please tell me is there any phone with screen that larger that 800x480 (even Lumia 900 sized that way ) and what the software versions should I download for 7.0, 7.5 "Mango" and 7.8 for that large screen phone and also what the tool should I use to open that firmware? Thanks.
Well yeah, of course the 620 doesn't have the high-res wallpapers. I was just telling you (and everybody else) how they can get those wallpapers off their phones. Somebody with a higher-resolution phone will have access to the high-resolution wallpapers, no need for the Full FS Access hack.
Thanks. Just explored 930/Icon firmware downloaded from NaviFirm+ and took wallpapers from it. But there is a little problem. On my Lumia 620 there is more wallpapers than I could find on the extracted firmware. I don`t even know where they're located. Here is some pics describing this:
Those I could find are with lime green border and those I couldn't are with red. No such pictures into 930 firmware, at least, unencrypted. Any suggestions?
Also, @GoodDayToDie, can you please respond to my PM I sent on 1st of September and then it was marked as read at 4th of September, no response since then

This is great app. But I cannot find any wallpaper in download section. The list is empty. Is there anyway to store one on sdcard, so to be able to start using the program?
What phone model are you using ?
It will detect the resolution of the phone and present the Wallpaper that is tailor to your screen size
this might be off topic but in the last screenshot what is the name of that widget you are using?

I'm using HTC Tattoo which is qvga(240x320). I suppose that there isn't any theme for that resolution, but the default program's wallpaper(this with the instuctions) appears fine and I can choose it as wallpaper. So I think that I can make or edit another theme and resize it to fit to this resolution. But where can I find them or how can I do this and where must put them?
this only work for android 2.1 and above which support livewallpaper.
resolution supported are: 320x480 (HTC Hero/Magic etc), 480x800 (Nexus One etc), 480x854 (Droid etc)
where can i find the one with the hands in the screenshot above...
The hand in the screenshot look for "desire"

Works great on HTC desire, would happily pay for this app.
Looking nice and promising, i'll try as soon as possible
Ok, looks great, but other than moving certain elements around, how do we actually customize (make our own) lwp?? Is there some kind of PC app to download? Is it web based?
I guess I'm asking, whats running on the laptop?
Im not able to download or install any of the wallpapers on my unrooted desire
im not able to install this /htc hero cdma
says problem parsing package
On my Desire, it says there's a sd card problem, cannot read
Looks really cool

Nice WP7 UI for WinMo Smartphone...
This app is about the same as Connectivity Shortcuts but when we run app from shortcuts on homescreen and on/off connectivity (eg. WiFi) doesn't go back to the app but go back to homescreen (Connectivity Shortcuts in the same situation go back to the app, not homescreen). For me this app is better as Connectivity Shortcuts.

Niiiiice. Goodbye Connection Shortcuts. Come to papa Network Dahboard.
Works on DFT 7720 Mango.
Thanks.
it also looks so much more metro. it's sleeker. (and i suggest people go listen to the latest podcast at WPDevPodcast.com for some more info about the app.)
I suggest people also read the comments on the podcast as it clears up the whole situation. The shortcuts were developed independently, dashboard is more refined in the current version.
Nice app, thank you. But is it possible to have Livetiles animated after pin to start menu?
I'm not sure, but perhaps this is not possible.
It would be great to show BT/Wifi status (on/off) directly on Live Tile. Should be possible on Mango.
thanks, great app !
In my HTC 7 Pro with Mango not shows animated

You can download XAP file yourself from WP7-3Mktplace.
Thanks, good app!!!
I agree with Radek Hulán. It will be great to show BT/Wifi status (on/off) directly on Live Tile. Would it be possible to modify it?
Version 1.1 is already in marketpalce. You can update app, but must remove old shorcuts from homescreen because new version shows status connection "live tile" (shortcuts from old version don't).
Only status of Wifi and Data Connection can be displayed by these Apps as there is no interface to query Bluetooth or Airplane Mode-State.

1) Copy the theme file of your choice (.hwt) from the HWTheme folder to your PC
2) Open the .hwt file with Winrar
3) Locate the file framework-res-hwext and open it with Winrar
4) Navigate to folder \res\drawable-xxhdpi
5) Copy or replace the wallpaper of your choice, in PNG format, with a resolution of 1047 x 1312, filename cover_background_default.png
In order to have both the original and the modified themes available in the Themes app, I edited the description.xml file in order to use a different name for the modified theme.
Save the .hwt file, copy it to the HWThemes folder and apply the new theme and give it a try! ?

This doesn't work. I've tried it several times. I have the Marshmallow update on my Honor 5X. The wallpaper you put in there shows up, but there is still another section above it that displays the stock wallpaper over it in a smaller window. It looks terrible. So this might work if you are still using Lollipop, but the update seems to break it.

I'm on marshmallow too. My device is not an Honor 5X though, it's a Mate 7.
Since you are not using a Mate 7, you may need to use a different resolution than ours. A suggestion would be to check the resolution of the original wallpaper.

I actually figured out the issue. I have my display settings set under view mode to small. If you set it to anything but large, this issue happens. Give it a try on yours and see if it is a universal issue. The moment I set it back to large, the screen was filled. This is a ROM issue for Huawei to resolve I think.

That isn't the issue though. The issue is that they seem to have an added overlay that includes their default wallpaper. So no matter what I set it to, that overlay displays on top of the one I set. On top of that, if I set the view mode in the display settings to anything other than large, it shrinks that overlay and you end up with what I shared in that screenshot. It's a ROM based issue as far as I can tell.
EMUI Theme editor
to chage smart cover wallpaper I think this is easiest way:
install EMUI theme editor from play store or Aptoide
open it and choose your current theme
change "S view" and save your theme
finish

You can't get rid of the default theme because it comes nativity with the OS and, as you can see, it's the same passing from oreo to Pie to 10 because it identifies the model of the phone and not the OS by itself.
The other two one's can be dowloaded and installed or not installed at all or even uninstalled once that you install them and you can find them in
settings > accessibility > visibility enhancements > high contrast themes
They give this choice, for having these two high contrast themes, to people having vision problems by themselves or for watching the screen in particular light conditions.
Anyway, since they don't take up a lot of space, I don't understand why your giving problems to yourself for accounting storage (if this is the reason) although the high capabilities of the note 9 in given a high memory expacialy if you put in a micro SD card...

The first one, being the default one, comes nativity with the OS since the phone was still in his box as new so you didn't even have the choise to install it at all....it was there and can't get rid of it even if installing something else to replace it.
For the other two one's , right, they are not installed when the phone was new but only having the choice of them in the settings of the phone like I previously said... anyway, if you installed them, they won't do nothing (not harmful for performance ) and they are even small so they don't occupate a bunch of storage. But your wrong when saing that they are not ufficial themes because they come directly from Samsung's theme store and their download with installation are indeeded to complete the high contrast theme choice in the phone's settings..so, I don't understand your fears for this...
The two to the right are not downloaded into your phone that's why they have the down arrow on them giving you the option to download. The only reason you can see them is that is your history of previously downloaded themes. The first one with the check is the stock theme which is applied to your phone.
