Hello everybody
My wife has smartwatch Samsung Gear. I try to help her without result.
I have tried to install the Null_23 but I am not succeeded. I did it according to video available on nullproject.net.
After flashing, and copying Null_23 on my gear, when I reboot gear in recovery mode, it erases everything on my gear and I have to reset the factory settings.
Do I need to install TWRP before installing NULL ???
Thanks for help

Mhhm,
Did you install using Odin or via CWM?
Try installing another ROM with CWM.
If that doesn't work, try to install Stock ROM back.

Stock ROMs from Samsung can be found here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Search for your device in the search bar.
Type: ''GT-I8190N''.
Download the right ROM. (Your country and eventually your provider).
Download and install Odin 3.07 (if you hadn't already).
Download and install Samsung Drivers for mobile phone. (If you hadn't already).
How to flash:
1) Go into recovery mode and perform a factory reset.
2) Open Odin Downloader.
3) Turn system off and go into Download mode.
4) Connect device to PC using USB cable.
5) Odin should recognize your phone now, if not: Check if Samsung Drivers have been installed correctly.
6) Click on PDA and add the file you have just downloaded from sammobile.
7) Make sure ''Auto Reboot'' and ''F. Reset Time'' is enabled.
8) Press start and wait untill the installation is finished.
9) Done.
If you are not familiar with this, ask me for more details and I'll explain more.

Go to CWM Recovery Mod and do Format Data/ Factory Reset, Format Cache partitions, Mount & Storage>Format /system, Wipe Dalvik Cache and Wipe Battery Stat. Now try to install a working custom rom. If you still get any error, then you can only solve this by flashing the stock rom through odin. Make sure you have updated USB drivers as this can sometimes make the phone undetectable. Do post your result. Hope I helped

You don't have custom recovery installed.
If you have properly rooted the device, you will need to put the gear into download mode again, and flash the custom null_twrp recovery through ODIN, make sure you uncheck the reboot option in ODIN. Then boot into recovery, you should have twrp on your watch now. then transfer the null rom zip file to your gear, either with adb or mobile-to-go, then go into recovery, and flash the null rom.
Edit: use this thread as a guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2562997
