HOWEVER, I FOUND A PROBLEM. I FOUND THAT BOTH PROXIMITY SENSOR AND LIGHT SENSOR ARE NOT ABLE TO WORK. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. I TRIED TO SEARCH SOME INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET BUT WITH NO ANSWER. ANYONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM? ANYONE CAN PROVIDE SOME SOLUTION FOR US?

Hi Guys,
When i changed the housing of my x1 i noticed afterwards using the camera, that it starts normal but in a second or so the screen is full of colours and flickering. I thougt that maybe the bcamera lens module was affected and therefore i am searching for a new one, but it is hard to find! Has anyone a solution for me?
Thanks, mafri
Hi!
I'm thinking of building my own smartphone, based on a Cortex-A9 development board (ODROID-X).
I'd like to use the touchscreen module of the Galaxy Note.
Does anyone know, how the hardware is actually connected? By looking over the osource of CM I found out that the touch controller is I²C, i hope the controllor is on the display module, not on the mainboard.
How is the display connected? LVDS? Does anyone have an idea where I could find out?
Any help is appreciated, I'm google-ing for days now

Maybe it's an omnivision sensor... it's not guaranteed that this sensor is sony IMX258
The serial number is from a Sony sensor.
And? is anybody manage to do it?
I still have the IMX258 with me! Anyone wants to buy , PM me.
It did not work for me.
I replaced the sensor:
A0 0-FILM WH273 (Kernel Menu: Version Back Camera: ofilm_s5k3I8)
with this one
OHP0240 A0 0-FILM WG493 (Kernel Menu: Version Back Camera: Not support)
Perhapse also ROM related?
The Phone is on MIUI 9 Global 7.9.15 Beta
Re-flash your ROM so your phone use the correct driver .

Sadly no difference after reflash. Took the fastboot file from here. http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
Any other ideas ?
I wish someone would reply. A $10 sony sensor is a worthwhile upgrade to this phone.
Maybe double check that the connector is seated properly. Maybe you need to install the correct driver manually. Regardless, this needs to get more attention!
Did you try using a custom ROM such as LineageOS?
Yes, installed the following:

Also installed the firmware.
Does anyone know how the ROM detects the different hardware settings of the phone?
I think xiaomi uses at least three different camera sensor types.
Sounds like a great idea to replace the sensor. I hope some smart XDA members figure out how to load the camera drivers after swapping sensors.
I changed camera sensor.
I succeeded in converting from Samsung to Sony.
@junyajunya
can you post us where you bought the sensor and what is writen on it?
Anything you had to do, so that the sensor could be used?
in aliexpress I bought 32824022365
you can find 32824022365 in aliexpress.
I can not write URL.
because I am new.
and just change.that's all.
