Hey everyone, i was just wondering if there is something on the hardware side of the One that doesnt allow me to install DashClock. I tried downloading it from the Play Store but it says my device is incompatible? Is it hardware, or is it because i have an international version.

I'm running Android Revolution HD, which is basically HTC's stock 4.2.2, with Sense of course, and I'm having the same issue. I honestly think it's the Sense lockscreen that's the problem. In order to install Dashclock, you have to add it as a widget to one of your lockscreens. The problem is Sense only gives you the main lockscreen, no widgets, scrolling, etc.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm trying to get DashClock running on Sense roms now that we have 4.2.2 available on them. Tried it on an AOSP ROM (Slim Bean) and was very impressed.
Right now, TrickDroid 7.0.0 has android 4.2.2 and comes with an AOSP lockscreen option, but that lockscreen does not support widgets. While you cannot get DashClock from the Play Store, you can install Dashclock via APK and it works (in a reduced capacity) on the home screen.
As for getting DashClock on the lockscreen, right now I'm using WidgetLocker Lockscreen (paid app), but it's running in a reduced capacity there too. Looking into changing the lock screen to one that fully works, don't know how deep this rabbit hole goes, but I am a developer (not for Android, though .. yet) so I'll see what I can come up with.
If you want to play with it too, here is the APK.
I heard that if you rename htclockscreen.apk to something else, and you use apex or nova launcher, you will have stock android lockscreen, with all widgets you want

In TrickDroid 7.0.0 at least, you get the stock android lockscreen, but without any widget functionality. I'm thinking this could be related to settings in android.policy.jar

Nope. Just an empty lock screen

Yes i've installed the same Rom and have been trying to look for a solution to the problem :S
I'm on OrDroid 7.3.2 - 4.2.2 and I can use DashClock widget without problem with all extensions as you can see with this screenshot.
Classic install => download from Google Play and installed correctly
I don't use some other launcher, just stock launcher
I use DashClock on my N7 3G too
Go Settings > Personalize > Lockscreen > (scroll to end) Widgets (Settings -> Choose DashClock) > Apply.

I've been trying to get the DashClock to work on my phone, but I can't find the Widget in the lockscreen options. I am using SentinelROM and running 4.2.2
Got it working on the htc one ... but now have two clocks on the lockscreen .... any ideas on how to get rid of one ?
Same Issue
I'm running Android Revolution 12.2 on HTC One and I'm also getting the two clocks issue. I used Personalize->Lockscreen->Widgets->Dashclock to set it up, but cannot remove the original lock screen clock. I switched the dashclock time for a small analog clock and it looks better but that huge clock at the bottom takes up too much space. Any ideas?
I'll just leave this here.

Hey,
I did the 4.4.2 stock ROM update last night. Everything went well except the apps shortcuts on the lockscreen. Since I updated I got the green android on the most left slot which means that the link is broken.
When the phone is unlocked, the apps shortcuts on the dock are all fine.
Can somebody help?
Thank you
Christian
ok, got it!
I just had to switch back to HTC Sense using Launcher Switcher on Google Play. Lock --> Unlock --> Switch back to APEX Launcher. That's it!
I have searched and searched, tried various mods, etc...
I want to change the amount of rows so the weather and clock on the Sense 6 lockscreen do not overlap. I am running the latest ViperOne and have enabled 5 rows rows on the homescreens and appdrawer. I have tried various different mods and sense 6 weatherclock themes (via xposed and otherwise) without any success. Does anyone know of a mod or fix I can use other than going back to 4 rows on my homescreens?
I cannot post external links of the screenshots I have because of my low post count. Sorry. Basically, the weather icon on the lockscreen will overlap with the clock (and it is smaller than what is shown on blinkfeed), but it does not overlap on the blinkfeed homescreen.
Thanks!
Nevermind. I finally found a fix. I used a non stock HTC weather mod via venom hub and it fixed the issue. Now to try some other themes that will work in 5 row mode.
Must be a bug in a theme or Venom
I don't want to re-install Venom to see if it is a bug in Venom or an addon I applied awhile ago. I am unable to change the weather or clock theme via venom tweaks. It seems to be related to using anything Sense 6 stock for the clock or weather. I just flashed a new full theme and the bug is back. Still investigating. It would be nice to have a mod for the lockscreen to sue the default sense 6 wetherclock with 5 rows on the lockscreen. I have yet to find a mod for just this. Can anyone point me to a howto or manpage on how to create this kind of mod? I am a bit new to android development, but I have made a few apps. I am not new to Linux kernel development (former ALSA contributor).
Thanks!
The bug is in the AOSP lockscreen.
Frustrating.... I want to hide the dock on the lockscreen. There is no setting for this, but enabling the ASOP lockscreen enables hiding the dock on blinkfeed hides the dock on the AOSP lockscreen as well. When using the Sense 6 lockscreen, there seems to be no way to hide the dock. I like the AOSP lockscreen unlock widget. Unfortunatley, Venom seems to have a bug in their Venom lockscreen tweaks where CM-style pattern dots only works with AOSP. Venom AOSP mode has the 4 row lock bug for the weather and clock. Perhaps the next version of Venom will address this.
I think I might ditch Sense 6 and go to 4.4.4 stock Android mod (or an AOSP rom) with a custom kernel and use GO Launcher for now. I used GO launcher on my 1st GEN EVO and I loved it.
BLU r1 hd 16/2 rooted & debloated V8.3 rom
Good day, I've noticed that while using an MP3 player I'm able to manipulate the lockscreen by displaying the album art. I'm guessing it's the same route that the Amazon ads used.
Are there any apps just for wallpapers that I can use to have a lockscreen wallpaper that's different from the home screen? Or has anyone developed any alternative way to change the lockscreen wallpaper?
Would really appreciate the help! Thanks!
I do not know of a native way to change the wallpaper on the stock lockscreen but if you aren't opposed to using a third party lockscreen, then just download one from the playstore. I currently use zui lockscreen on my BLU R1 HD. It works great and you can customize the lockscreen wallpaper to whatever you want. Just remember if you do decide to use a third party lockscreen, then you will have to disable your system lock/password/pin. Set system lock to swipe.

Yes that works but then you end up with a double lockscreen. You have to unlock custom locker and still swipe the stock locker. Which by the way still loads notifications and it just looks weird.
How do the MP3 players do it and how did Amazon? They kept the transparent stock lockscreen but displayed an image behind it.

Actually, I do not have that double lockscreen issue, at all. My current lockscreen operates as though it is the native lockscreen. Although, it would be interesting to know how the issue at hand was implemented by BLU/ Amazon. I however am just a user of cellphones, not a programmer or anything. You should try ZUI Locker and see if it does give you that double lockscreen. BTW, I'm rooted and de-bloated so I don't know if your phone still has ads being displayed. If you still have the ads, then you may still get that double lockscreen you mentioned.

you don't have the double lock screen? Is your Blu the prime version that you rooted? Can you set your stock lockscreen to "none" or just "swipe"?
I'm not seeing any ads at all anymore it's just the stock lockscreen just remained. I unlocked and rooted using @mrmazak tutorial. Which one did you use?
Edit - I tried ZUI Locker like you suggested and it WORKED!! I'm in shock. This is the first one that has managed to get rid of the stock lockscreen. Thanks a lot!
Can anyone help me out with replacing the stock touchwiz lock screen with AOSP? I'm looking for the same lock screen found in the cm14/aicp/Resurrection roms. I couldn't get bluetooth to work in my new car with any of the custom roms, so I downgraded to stock QE2, rooted, and was able to get everything back to where I want it, except the lockscreen. And I hate the touchwiz lock screen.
I found an app called kkm locker, which is an OK work around for now, but it's just an overlay and not an actual lock screen, so it causes some issues.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
