This rom was just compiled by me, Scott.Hart.bti has done the real work!
I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by Scott.Hart. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and Scott added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

So your interested in Building/Porting for another device?! Follow this guide! **Please make sure to give proper credits and Use the layout i have in the first post.** - If you need assistance, please send me a PM, do NOT post questions in this thread. I may open a general porting/building thread in another section depending on how this goes. You must have some general experience/knowledge in this area to complete this. Building from Linux platforms. In particular Ubuntu 10.04
If you have building/development concerns or issues, Please visit the BeanStalk Development Thread to avoid cluttering this thread.
Setup to build - This section can be skipped if youve ever built anything before. This is for first time build setup.
1. From your root terminal location, type the following: sudo apt-get install curl git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev squashfs-tools build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev sun-java6-jdk pngcrush schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
2. Type: mkdir ~/bin
3. Type: PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. Type: curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
5. Type: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
From terminal
1. type 'cd'. This will bring you to your root folder.
2. type 'mkdir beanstalk'. This will create a folder named beanstalk.
3. type 'cd beanstalk'. This will take you to the beanstalk directory created from previous step
4. type 'repo init -u git://github.com/scotthartbti/android.git -b kk44'. This will setup the folders to be synced.
5. type 'repo sync'. This will sync the folders to your beanstalk directory. Note - This will take some time depending on internet connection. Be patient!
6. After the repo sync finally finishes, all you need to do is add your device, kernel, vendor specific files for the device you are building for. (You must know what these are, dont bother asking me if your not sure.)
7. Make sure all your device specific files are setup as if you were going to build for CM.
8. Outside of terminal, navigate to beanstalk/vendor/cm. Double click on the get-prebuilts file and select run in terminal. This will fetch necessary files needed to build and place them where they need to be.
9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh && brunch "device name"'
10. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
11. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.

Small problem
After all day supersmooth run, Ive got some problem. System suddenly slowed down and UI ( next launcher pro) fall into loop. No other solution than reboot phone plus Go weather widget stopped working hanged on unknown error.
If anybody will have simillar issue, send it pls. Ill try this one :
1. Reflash ROM + boeffla
2. Reflash Rom without boeffla
3. Clean install not "update" way. - again without and with boeffla.
If ill fail, ill connect to comp and like usually Ill go app to app.
I cant read log. From unknown reason was erased and starting like just installed.
Note : All system inc all apps are fully updated.

Theme engine is a huge task, especially in a rom that is tweaked as much as this one. I won't be tackling theme engine but if Scott would want to do so & need any help then I would give him a hand.

I would bet that your kernel isn't playing too nice? Do you have apps2sd now? I don't think I had worked on it in this release.
What's this? No ThemeEngine No App2SD, ancient Nova Launcher, but a super ROM
I miss only carrier label in the status bar (Liquid) and Softreboot.
Sorry with Apps2SD
Wow beanstalk is back ☺ thanks @gimmeitorilltell

Im thinking that kernel is quilty...not sure yet. And app2sd i have on another devices not on this one - I have really big memory so i found it little useless for me. I think you implement app2sd in next after 719 ( cant remember the exact number now). I had some minnor troubles with it so i stayed on 719 up to now. 719 worked excellently for me. So, Im still investigating wheres problem. Tried Rom without updated boeffla = same. I must find some really good app for logs, cos i need record what happening inside.
Like last one - tomorrow if will be needed, ill try clean instal. If there is any conflict it will fix it.
So hold on..im working like tasmanian devil.
If you will have any advice to me, pls let me know..

Move2SD is includet
It was question from OP. Im facing situation when I cant use this version of BS, cos phone is in loop of UI or frozen. When Ill fix main problem Ill have chance to investigate whats inside. Sooner I wrote that after install my device is excellently quick. It was like this but cos of my job I had no time to investigate it and I postponed it. When i had time, I took device and all started. After opening basic setting, phone slowed down, UI started be restarted every moment and started loop. After restart, phone became frozen. Just now. 5 - 10 mins work with analysis and restart.
So..when ill be finished with this problem, Ill take a look whats inside include app2sd and all other.

Will you try this rom.zip? Apps2sd is definitely in my local source. I may have to tweak it a little to get it working correctly. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712468774 this is just testing apps2sd ONLY! i have done nothing else to the build yet
Definitely!

It looks like all is working just fine.Go weather widget stopped working due an unknown error ( I think its needed to delete data and setup it again)
...................................... few mins later................................
Moving apps : " Your device storage and internal SD card are the same,so moving is unnecessary"
It means, app2sd is working - even in 2 independent app2sd managers this function is fully available. Mark " cant move or already on SD + function move back"
For confirmation, Ill install this version of BS on second SG III where is fully eq. 4ext with tweak. Under this should be moving possible without above mentioned info cos of active partition. Also there is one big game ( 1 GB) which i tested for Saki. Ill try move it lol.
Just now : ROM is running smoothly. I did second reboot = some errors disappeared. Next I flashed Boeffla last version for CM testing and rest of errors disapperared.
Go widged error solved with simply cleaning data and erasing cache plus new setup. Error eliminated.
During day ill be testing performance, functions etc etc etc...and in the evening ill submit report.
...
Just before my leaving device again slowed down and randomly I can see UI reboot and loop. When Ill restart it, it will disappear for 5 mins. Reflash of ROM will fix it for little longer time. ( All is WITHOUT Boeffla)
With your permission, Ill try to compare version 719 and this one -908.
Version 719 was last version ( I was using it up to now) which was working without problems. From next version started some troubles and last two versions have the same symthoms which are floating on surface after 15-20 mins after flashing update.
There is something which is causing this problem/s. I have still possiblity to do clean install, but i would like to find that problem. Btw..even clean install Im recommending in the case of bigger troubles to everybody like one of the effective possibilities of fixing it, but its extremely annoying and slow activity, so Ill do it like my last try.
..
So, I did clean instal exactly like this :
Make sure you are rooted with a custom recovery
Download both the BeanStalk build and the latest GAPPs package.
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe /system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash BeanStalk build
Flash GAPPs package
Reboot
( copy - paste cos it was done exactly the same way)
Unfortunatelly same errors, after 20 mins phone slowed down, frozen, after reboot OK, all is repeating cca 5 mins later.
I did all possible analysis, nowhere is conflict, Boeffla isnt installed at all - just as is.No Kernel can do any troubles.
Just now uploading recovery image of the version 719 ( last one working). and Ill be continuing with this version on my official device.
On my another SG III i must stop testing candy and ill do clean install of latest update of BS and Ill be looking whats happening there and finding all what im able to find.
Mystery is : I did clean ( factory reset,,bla bla bla..) install and when i was finished I got the same errors even it was like new phone. This is really mystery for me.
For all the others : Your SG III is running OK without troubles? If any, let me know. NOT from the reason I want to dirty this ROM, but i want find any point where I can find any help for myself. Somewhere is mistake and i have no clue where. Phone was totally empty and clean.
Thank you
PS : Of course, full root, no brick even soft, all tests are like diamond clean.
I have the ROM, Boeffla Omni NG 2.4 beta5 and SuperSU 2.05 installed (100% clean with Megawipe). Then Titanium Backup pro. Everything works bos to move on ext SD.
I also have 20 Xposed modules run with version 2.7 experimental1.
No crashes, on the contrary, the ROM is running very well for 8 hours

This is a program to complement your ROM. It is able to produce a CWM flashable zip with apps your ROM might be missing (T-Mob ones, launchers, utilities, etc). It also has other tools available for you. It can produce an empty flashable zip for you (read more about it here). And now, it has "repositories." Developers can upkeep their own repos with whatever files they wish. Roms, themes, mods, etc.

Instructions
Download. Note: you must have Java installed to run this app
WHILE YOU ARE DOWNLOADING MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
Unzip the folder. Please keep it intact. Moving files around in there will probably break the functionality.
Run ACS.jar.
Choose desired apps.
Wiping Dalvik cache is recommended, but it will take you about 5 minutes to boot
Copy flash.zip to your internal sd card
Flash with CWM
Linux users: if you are running Linux I advise you to use the run.sh file to run the program, otherwise it may use your home directory to store files
Mac users: you need to have java 1.6 installed for this to work. i tested this on a friend's mac (running 10.5.8 & java 1.5) and it wasn't working. also i was not able to update her java to 1.6 either. so i'm assuming you need to have snow leopard installed for this to work...
Devs:
Check out this reference guide for more info on setting up a repo list. Feel free to contact me for any clarification. It's really not hard to do it, just have to understand how the app works a little. The guide should give insight and instruction. Contact me to add your repo to the list.

dude what are you waiting for? sounds like credits will poses your name alot in new devs roms! say cheese!
Sounds awesome, I know a lot of people will find that very useful. Great job so far! My only concern is will you be releasing a new version every time the apps are updated? Or do you intend to have it download the latest versions automatically once you turn it into a client and host the actual files online?

If this happens, it would be extremely easy to update to newer versions. But as the program works right now, it's pretty basic, so yes it would have to be downloaded again.
Also I'm pretty sure I lack the skill to program it to download the files. So like I said. Maybe later

No worries man, that still sounds like a great tool. I honestly wouldn't mind downloading every now and then, I was just curious. I still have to update half the applications on my computer manually, so it doesn't bother me. Thanks for your contribution, it's years beyond anything I could ever pull off, web server or no!

I'm finishing up some things and going to try flashing a test in a bit.
If I can get it to work I will post the initial release later today. Only the Utilities tab and the Mms tab will be working though.
I've gotta figure out which Apks go with what for the actual bloat
i think you forgot to post the download link.

Like I said, soon as I feel it's ready to be a Beta, I'll start updating it on XDA
is it windows ready? it seems to be a little like an addition to the kitchen...
edit: nvm didnt read properly

So I'm in the process of creating a little utility that will allow you to choose alllllll the bloat you'll ever want.
It will generate a .zip file that you will flash through CWM.
Couple things I'd like to mention:
It's written in Java, so eventually I will get it working properly on Linux and OS X as well.
The file size of this utility will be a little large as I will have to include every single program with it
I will eventually try and get them to download off the internet to make the utility itself pretty damn tiny, no promises though
I had originally planned to make this an online-kitchen type tool. I don't know nearly enough PHP so I just ended up doing this
This thing is Alpha
I'll probably end up releasing the alpha over at Heathen's site before I put up a beta over here
I'd like to hear your thoughts/suggestions/comments.
(Mods, sorry if this isn't in the right section, I figure this is more related to ROM development than Apps)

I'm not trying to be a smartass or too much of a dumbass, but why would anyone want an app that adds bloat?

Honestly, that wasn't my main intention. I thought it was a good idea for people to add apps they wanted in one swift flash. I'm always looking to have Titanium and maybe a couple other apps.
This just makes it easier and provides most of the apps people want in one place.
But I've read it over and over how (some) people want Avatar, Wifi calling, or AOSP mms, and I've even seen a request at one point for the memo app.
Right now, this is what works:

Gotcha. It is a good idea. It just threw me because of the generally negative connotation of the word "bloat"...
birgertime said:
If this happens, it would be extremely easy to update to newer versions. But as the program works right now, it's pretty basic, so yes it would have to be downloaded again.
Also I'm pretty sure I lack the skill to program it to download the files. So like I said. Maybe later

As far as updating goes.... It's not difficult here's an example for you...
http://www.javajazzup.com/issue3/page65.shtml
All you would need would be a host to hold all your files which a simple DropBox account can solve.
As far as the updater goes. What you can do is make a Wrapper that checks for a new file on a server (your new dropbox) if its the same size (in bytes) then continue to load your main .jar, else you tell it to download to the location which should overwrite it or you can delete it prior to the download.
I hope this helps in your java application. Great work and continue the dev
P.S. Feel free to PM for any questions you might have on Java.

Yeah I didn't really doubt I could find it online, just didn't wanna jump in too far right away.
I was actually thinking of hosting like a master file which would contain locations and versions of the files that the client would be able to download and interpret. That's just something that crossed my mind though. I'm going to get this thing working fully offline before I go into anything else.
As far as the web hosting goes, I have some, it says it's "unlimited" but I have a feeling XDA will test that limit if the time comes.
Thanks for offering to help! I may take you up on it.
If anyone knows this, I'd greatly appreciate the help. I need to know which APKs are associated with the following apps (mainly if there's another APK besides the main one):
AllShare
Amazon
Avatar
GoGo
Layar
Kindle
MediaHub
Memo
Mini Diary
Write and Go
Audio Post Card
It'd be great if we could use this tool to put our titanium backed up apps and put them in a flashable zip that way we have our apps ready for when we boot a rom.

Attention: This ROM is discontinued!
It still works great as a daily driver and got a large userbase, but as CM10.1 has been abandoned there won't come any new updates anymore!
After working really hard on it for more than 2 month(!) I proudly present my first CM10.1 T-Build :fingers-crossed:
I put lots and lots of effort into it to create a great, smooth and bugfree rom experience for you guys.
I tried to fix all huge bugs on CM10.1 like bluetooth fast forwarding and the wifi hotspot.
Additionally I took the time to create a non-neon gapps package, as the official 4.2 one does only support neon.

CM Known Bugs & Fixes:
This list shows what has been done so far.
As you can guess by the sheer amount of the fixed bugs there has been put lots and lots of time into this ROM.
And don't forget about all the awesome work pengus77 has put into the kernel - without him we would still suffer from bsods and huge battery drain.
Do NOT post or ask about stuff on the known bugs list!
The bug is listed here - I don't need to get reminded that it's there.
If there's progress or an ETA or anything we will post about it - if not there's not.
I really mean it! Do not ask, it's just annoying. It might only lead to us abandoning the work on the bug.
Oh check the "plans for the next build" section below as well.
But of course you're very welcome to post a decent fixing idea or development related note in'te the CM10.1 development discussion.
Hall of shame of people who ignored my warnings and still posted about already known bugs.
If someone continuously breaks this threads rules you'll land on my ignore list.
tonyp (damn!)

GCC 4.7 experiments
CREDITS:
arcee and the CM team for all the work they did.
pengus77 for his awesome work at the kernel and new bootloader.
niko (Andrei E.) for his work on including the bluez stack into android.
marsgod for fixing the callbug on the old bootloader.
wkpark for the cracked ICS bootloader, the ramhack idea, and all is valid input.
goo.im, AndroidFileHost and vadonka for providing me great hosting services.
I got a bug - can I report it?:
If you want me to take the time to help and fix your bugs I expect you to take the time and do this properly!
Quick check: Did you do a full wipe before installing build 01? If not you need to do that first!
Check the known bugs section. If it's listed or mentioned there, drop it (and wait patiently if it'll get fixed eventually).
Use the search function and try to find if others have been posted about it.
You're only at the app and can't properly search within a thread?
Then wait until you're at home and report the bug from there!
Check the last 3 pages if the bug has been mentioned there.
You still with me? All of this takes too much of your precious time?
Then use another ROM!
Still nothing? Then report the bug in this thread.
Always attach logs to your bugreport!! Bug reports without logs will get ignored completely.
Study this for more details: [Reference] How to get useful logs
People who fail in doing this properly will get into the hall of shame.
Downloads:
ROM:
By downloading and/or using this ROM you agree to the guidlines of this thread:
Read and understand the entire OP!
Yes, it takes a couple minutes - but what's that compared to the 2+ month I put into the ROM??
Don't be a douchebag!
Follow the rules!
If you agree click the button and download the ROM :fingers-crossed:
Download: http://tonyp.basketbuild.com
Make sure to download the correct version for your bootloader!
Mirror: http://goo.im/devs/tonyp
Gapps:
This ROM already has tiny gapps included! That's a minimum gapps package (<20mb)
I put a lot of effort into integrating the required apps and libs and tested it carefully.
I choose this approach because of the many problems that the standard package causes to our non-neon Tegra2 phone.
Included are only the most basic (g)apps like Playstore, Talk (with working videochat), Calendar sync provicer etc.
If you want to remove the included gapps flash this package after flashing the ROM:
CM10.1-gapps-remover-tonyp.zip
For those of you who want the "full" gapps package including Google Now, TTS, Faceunlock, voice search etc. I worked on a full non-neon gapps package.
Get it from this thread: Non-neon Gapps (Android 4.2) dev-discussion thread
Do NOT flash any other gapps package - they aren't compatible with our phone!
If you accidently did that then format /system and reflash the ROM.
This is necessary to prevent bugs like like the keyboard closing while typing.
Addons:
You can download my officially supported addons from the addons folder:
http://goo.im/devs/tonyp/CM10.1-T-Builds/addons
This ROM has native support for Quickmemo.
For more details read this post.
I've build patches for OpenPdroid and PDroid2.0.
For more details read this post.
Kernel:
kowalski kernel thread
This ROM comes with the awesome kowalski kernel by pengus77.
For new versions (which come regularly) check out his thread!
Various:
TWRP recovery for both bootloaders
my modded adb drivers
Instructions:
Updating to a newer T-Build::
No wipes or system-format needed!
Choose the correct ROM for your bootloader
Flash the ROM
Flash the latest kowalski kernel
Tiny Gapps are included, so there's no need to flash gapps if those are enough for you.
If you want the full gapps package use the non-neon one I provide here.
If you want to remove gapps flash this package after flashing the ROM: CM10.1-gapps-remover-tonyp.zip
Reboot
Coming from another ROM:
If you're on the newbl either use pengus CWM 6.0.2.5 or my TWRP!
Other recoveries won't work.
oldbl users can use any CWM >5 or TWRP version.
Do a full wipe!
Just do the wipe, you will be thankful afterwards when everything does run better.
Format /system
Choose the correct ROM for your bootloader
Flash the ROM
Flash the latest kowalski kernel
Tiny Gapps are included, so there's no need to flash gapps if those are enough for you.
If you want the full gapps package use the non-neon one I provide here.
If you want to remove gapps flash this package after flashing the ROM: CM10.1-gapps-remover-tonyp.zip
Reboot
Don't restore system apps (like Settings) or system data (like Wifi data) with TitaniumBackup!
My personal recommended configuration:
Go to Settings - Performance - Processor and change the "Maximum CPU frequency" to 1200 (or even 1500) and "Set on Boot"
Open the KowalskiManager
enable the 3 power saving options at the top
lower TX Power to 11
Change the SD readaheads to 512
enable dynamic fsync
This ROM comes pre-configured with the following memory management changes:
zRAM enabled with 18%
tonyp memory management enabled
purgeable assets enabled
Changelog:
T-Build 01
T-Build 02
T-Build 03
T-Build 04
T-Build 05
Let me leave with a couple more notes:
This ROMs focus is stability! It's intention is to be a daily driver without the need to constantly flash new updates - that's why I kept you guys waiting that long and didn't release my daily testbuilds (more like 3 builds a day actually) which haven't been perfectly stable, yet.
That's why I took CM10.1 M3 as a base and don't merge in nightly features - everything in this ROM should be well tested and fully working.
I only picked memoryleak fix that's been discovered after M3.
I won't cherrypick each and every feature that's in some other ROM!
If there's a real useful addition that I personally like I will do it, but the fancy stuff has to go into other ROMs.
You guys know me - I am mostly patient and don't mind slight offtopic posts.
For completely offtopic posts you can use the CM 10.1 discussion thread.
... but I hate people who are lazy and don't do their own research. I spent countless hours on this ROM, I think I can expect you to spent a little time before asking questions.
I am not a vendor who's obligated to release a ROM for the phone - I am doing this in my free time for you and me.
So please - don't behave like a total noob. Or and I will have a busy fishlapping time
F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions:
How can I swap the mounting points for internal SD card and external SD card?
If you're on the new bootloader, flash this script via Recovery (thanks, @C0D3N1N3R!). For those on the old bootloader, you need this one instead (thanks, @SWTR!).
Which gapps package should I use with this ROM?
Seriously? You haven't been paying attention, have you? Go read the posts above this one!
Which PDroid version should I use?
It's a matter of personal preference, actually. Try both and see which one fits your needs the best. Keep in mind that if you're switching between Openpdroid and PDroid 2.0 (or viceversa) you need to uninstall the app and re-flash the ROM first, or else this kitten will die and it'll be in your conscience forever! I'm serious!!
Just flashed this ROM via recovery and can't get past the boot logo, what's wrong?
Chances are that you're using the wrong Recovery. Try pengus' CMW v6.0.2.5 and flash the ROM again. If the problem persists, check that the ROM zip file isn't corrupted (see each build's md5 hash on tonyp's goo.im CM10.1 folder). If none of that helps, then you better get Tony some logs
How can I know which bootloader my device is using?
An easy way to indentify this is by seeing the bootloader logo that appears when you turn on your device: white -> old bootloader, pink -> new bootloader.
How can I set a custom DPI on this ROM?
You can either use the Google Play DPI Fix Tool, or Tony's personal recommendation: Xposed in combination with Xposed App Settings (link down, use this one or this one instead for now) (see reference by @rugglez).
Viber doesn't work on this ROM, I can't even make a call. What can I do?
According to what we have read, recent versions of Viber won't work on CM 10+ for our device. Apparently, the developers of the app were been notified about the issue and they might look into it soon. Worry not, my friend, since not everything is lost. According to @engine24, Viber version 2.3.6.338 seems to be working alright. Make sure you uninstall your current version of Viber first before installing this one, though!
Battery drain is a bit too high, what's happening?
If you just flashed this ROM, please do one or two full battery charge cycles and see if it helps. Also, check on BetterBatteryStats for rogue apps keeping your device awake (and this is definitely worth a read!).
My screen goes bright before unlocking / after locking?
It's a known issue when using autobrightness. There's no fix for this at the moment.
My GPS takes ages to get a lock, how can I fix it?
Try the latest version available of the Google Specific No-SSL AGPS patch by @crypted. Unpack the gps.conf file and copy it into /system/etc/ using a root file explorer (set permissions to rw-r--r--). Optionally, you can add ro.ril.def.agps.mode = 1 to build.prop (find it in /system folder) but only if you're still having problems after applying the patch.
And, in case you're wondering, the answer is no: this patch won't be integrated into the ROM, so don't ask ... or will it?
Edit: that damn Tony added it to T-Build 3, so this is no longer necessary (unless he decides to drop it hehe)
Hardware Search key is not working!
Go to Settings > System > Hardware keys and make sure that Enable custom actions is checked. Also, change Search key action to In-app Search.

The ROM flashes perfectly fine, that's not the issue. The issue is with the stock omni-kernel (DU uses forked it). I think I've fixed it, but haven't had the time to check. Currently, the ROM file includes GearKernel instead, so it'll work fine.

I was hesitant at first cause I didn't know if the USB connect to Internal storage was fixed or not, but I put this in the batch of ROMs I was about to try to flash.... I put this one first off my last experiences, but was cautious in case I had to flash Fluid (never used Gear before, so I don't know how good it is). I couldn't help but go in to settings a bit prematurely to see all the dirty tweaks, but I did and it was like the Heavens opened from up above. So far, I'm thinking it has everything I'd want, even down to the scrolliing animations. The tears of joy are real lol. I just reflashed (I somehow denied Superuser and didn't want to run into issues if it didn't come back up); currently waiting for it to settle so I can flash the Gapps and maybe Photosphere as I haven't tried it. But this is looking like The One. Already. :good::good: Will definitely report back after a couple days to confirm my thoughts, but this feels excellent. Great work!
Edit: So I've installed all my apps and tweaked my settings and such and the rom still feels amazing. Just one glitch I've encountered... The phone screen sometimes gets.. distorted. It first happened when I changed the theme with Google Keyboard in settings and then it just happened again when I tried to open a text. Maybe a Superuser issue? I'll post some screens tomorrow as I'm too tired to transfer them to my computer to upload, currently But yeah, the whole screen gets distorted and there's no way to remedy it unless I reboot the phone.
Also, upon the reboot I just did, the media scanner is frozen. Like, that persistent notification won't go away. Not even if I reboot it, the notification won't go away. I've tried rebooting; canceling the media scanner on boot; all that. It doesn't work. It's not as major as the first glitch I mentioned, but I have OCD... so... this notification is reeeaaaalllllyyyyyy getting under my skin lol.
Aside from those two, my goodness.. Haven't encountered anything but good ****. Hope I can say that on here. Keep he work and I'll definitely stick with this bad boy right here!
Edit 2: So I've fixed the Media Scanner thing by deactivating it, reactivating it, then rebooting. But the distortion bug I mentioned earlier just happened again. It always seems to happen when I'm in settings (I was going to uninstall Swype when it showed up this time).. But this time, it froze my phone completely. Couldn't back out, couldn't "Home button" out of it, couldn't even use my power button. Had to pull the battery. So yeah, it's probably a framework issue or something. As it stands, this is the only thing that's really an *issue*, so once that's resolved, you might just have the most reliable 4.4. Sorry for this wall of text, though!

Haven't actually had this issue before, so I'm not quite sure what you're describing. Could you pull a logcat for me? Or maybe send a picture so I can see what's wrong. Also, the original build that I worked on (the one in the post) works with the stock DU kernel now. I just tested it yesterday, so it'll be even faster!

Here are the screenshots I took last night and one from just now. Idk what's causing it, but the only way I get it to go away is to turn the phone off. BTW, how do I do a logcat? I've never really had to do one, so hopefully, for now, the screenshots give you some kind of idea.
Edit: Yeah, so my camera won't work now. I constantly get "Can't connect to Camera" and I've tried everything. And my signal is worth ****... AKA, my phone will show I have signal, but I won't actually be able to send texts/calls -_______________- Between this and the constant fraggling of my screen, I can't depend on this ROM as a driver just yet =( So I'm gonna have to go to another ROM, which I'm sure will piss me off, also, in the meantime. If there is anything I could do to help with getting it fixed, though, I'd be happy to oblige!

There are two ways to take logcats, through terminal emulator and adb. Both methods can be found on google. I'm building the latest version right now. See how it fares, k?

Okay, I'll be sure to look up the process. And definitely! I'll try it as soon as it's put up.
New version uploaded. The kernel was actually fixed in the previous update, but I didn't upload that version because I hadn't tested it. Enjoy the kernel. SUPAH HOT!
You don't have to worry about EFS getting wiped from flash now, but just in case, back it up.
PS: Even though the file name says that it was built on the 19th, it's only because my Virtual Machine has been paused for a really long time. it was built yesterday.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you used google translate for this. I have not had any issues with music/phone ringing or call management. I would need more information before I do anything. What rom did you come from? Did you try reflashing the rom, etc.
Now it is worked so fast and Stable on my T959
Im come form CyanFox 2.0.2,Full Wipe and Installation This rom.

It's a good thing that the network and baseband work for you now! To change the font, there are few Google Play Apps in the market. Try using them, if they don't work, it's mostly likely not the ROM's fault, but the app's fault.
I cant get GSM Networks !this rom not support 2G Networks?

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by scott.hart.bti. The OP is from scott.hart.bti per his instructions for ports. The first few post will be his stuff and mine will follow after that. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and scott.hart.bi has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with scott.hart.bti's current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
scott.hart.bti plans on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

10-6
- Latest kernel improvements from Liquid Smooth which came from HTC.
-Changes in M8 device tree that help overall performance and fixed conflicts with kernel tweaker.
-Checkbox added to disable Notification count
-Miui Like Status Bar carrier label
- Removed a couple of duplicate settings that we had throughout tweaks.
-Moved xposed apps to their own section in BeanStalk Options.
-Added OmniSwitch that is accessible via BeanStalk options, it currently is not able to be set as default for recents but is still handy.
-All latest changes from BeanStalk.
-Also kernel now under clocks to 268 and is over clock able to 2803
Another new build is up and has the same date of 9-24.
-Its has some theme fixes
-Active Display- new features and changes
-New display animations scale in dev menu
- Active Display shake events added.
9-23
- New Search option in settings menu
- Brought in CPU Freq Tile.
- Replaced Omni Performance with Kernel tweaker.
- Working Carrier logo in status bar if the option is selected.
- Call recording.
- Using a new kernel that I forked from Dirty Unicorns and added many options and also took out kernel supported double tap to wake and sweep to wake as we have the ability to sent those in settings/display/screen of gestures
- MMS Settings- Moved Emoji options down to Extra Settings.
- MMS- Made system icon ICS Blue(I'm not a fan of the green.)
- Pressing app icon in apps info screen in settings will launch that app, this was ported from a Xposed module
- Long pressing the Mobile tile will now take you to Mobile Settings instead of Data Usage.
I think that's it but might be missing a few things, github has all the changes listed( and then some as I was all over the place getting these working), but that is the most important ones.
Many thanks to scotthartbti, Dirty Unicorns.

9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh && brunch "device name"'
10. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
11. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.
This is great! Haven't seen Beanstalk since my SGS3. Will definitely flash and report back after I wake up.
I have been running the build he posted a while back an it was awesome...glad to see camera fix.
So I tried flashing the new build it flashed boot an then I had android phone has stopped rt away. Had to force boot to recovery an when I did that nothing could mount..in showed like I had no storage no SD nothing.. So I booted to bootloader an back to recovery an this time no errors an it showed my SD card an internal so I restored a backup an everything went fine....so I'm just wondering if anyone has flashed this build without issues ? I'm going to redownload an try it again here in a few
I have clean flashed twice and had no issues. What gapps are you using? But yes please download again. Maybe I need to do another upload, not like those go perfect every time.

I'm excited to see another AOSP rom for this phone. I do have a couple of quick questions.
Will I still be able to run some Verizon apps? As much as I hate bloat, there are a couple of apps that I do need to use to keep an eye on kids data usage.
Also, how about the FM receiver? Will this rom be able to access that?
Thanks for a great looking Rom, and the instructions for making your own. I think that is brilliant!
Any reason why you didn't post here? http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/orig-development
You would probably get more traffic/downloads there. Anyway thanks for the rom, great to have more options use to run this on my GS3.

Yes this rom has AOSP FM also I use Verizon apps like the My Verizon Data Widget. I have a zip that I flash with all the AOSP roms that I install. Would you like me to attach that?
EDIT: Attached the verizon zip that I make on the phone. I update it when there are updates to the My Verizon Data Widget.
I tried to install the fixed version but get an error in Twrp unable to open zip file. Anyone else or just me ?

Deleted and am uploading again.
Sorry stopped it and am starting again. Noticed that Exposed framework was out of date and would not update due to broken signature so update closed framework and app settings apps. They will be also added to repo so will build from now on with newest apps.

M7: Unknown at this time, you tell me?
M7SPR: This build is Permissive for now and the RIL is working. The Home button is NOT working "Yet". Most things seem to be pretty solid so far. Let me know what you may find not working?
UPDATE: The gapps I had linked was breaking the home button. New link is in the OP.
It seems to be Roaming but my device is not activated on the network.
My builds will be back up after an investigation.

Been testing this out for the last half hour or so, overall it runs really well for a test build.
Here are a few of things issues I've noticed so far: No notifications show up in the notification bar, I'll get a vibration and sound when I get a text or email, but nothing appears up top. This might be more of a Gapps issue than a rom issue, but when I logged into my google account it didn't sync any of my contacts from my account. I also noticed that there is no lockscreen, which isn't really much of an issue anyway.
Overall I've been in the Android community for quite a while and this is by far one of the most complete test builds I've ever used. I'll continue my testing all day tomorrow and let you know of any other issues I come across

I am currently flashing the rom again without gapps. I'm thinking the gapps linked is breaking things. I have a lockscreen & other things in my t6spr rom that is missing from this one. I appreciate your input as well.
EDIT: I just booted without the linked gapps and have a lockscreen. I'll see if I can find the gapps used on my T6.
Try these as they work on my t6 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224385489
I just wiped everything and reinstalled it all, now I have lockscreen, notifications, and all my contacts show up, must have had a bad install the first time. Everything works great now. I did use the full version of Open Gapps this time too, so maybe that Gapps file was causing the issues
I gave up on updating after seeing there won't be an official 5.1 after all.. I settled with badboyz 5.0.1 ROM.
Here I am after almost 2 years, decided I could come and check if there is anything new made by good people..
And I'll be damned this awesome thread appeared just today, what a timing!
Even though it's a test ROM, seeing the @bbacon 's feedback, I guess I won't regret it if I flash it right away?
M7 is my main and only device though, would you recommend waiting for another update?

The M7 is currently my only device too. I've only noticed a few minor things here and there, but nothing that is even enough of an issue to post about. Today will be my first full day with it, so if you want to wait a day or two I'll let you know if I run into any issues at the end of the day today

Awesome , I'd appreciate that!
I guess I spoke too soon, I was using this rom for about half the day and I've noticed a significant issue. For some reason I can't send any text messages on this rom. I can send pictures messages and group messages with no issue, but when I try to sent a text message to one person with no picture it fails every time. I've tried it with multiple different Gapps, and tried it without using Gapps at all, and every time it fails to send a standard text message. I thought at first it might be a bad signal, but the same place it wouldn't send the message I was able to make calls, send picture messages, and access the internet, so I think it might not be signal related. Other than this one issue though everything else was working great. I've gone back to a sense rom for the meantime

The SMS issue is not just limited to this ROM, it's also present on the Vanir ROM build that I'm using as my daily driver as well as a few others. Thanks for your feedback, any other significant issues you've noticed?

Look up magisk best option
Two things I've noticed so far using this ROM:
-video recording doesn't work, including in snapchat
-when trying to edit the buttons quick settings shade, the menu is scaled incorrectly on the screen.
Fantastic ROM otherwise, it's blazing fast and has done pretty well with battery compared to other Roms
Can't add or edit APN (no APN is here).. "This user can't change APN settings".... wow.... but mobile data is working))) fantastic)
Installed latest Gapps with new google launcher - everything works. Thanks!
