Attention: This ROM is discontinued!
It still works great as a daily driver and got a large userbase, but as CM10.1 has been abandoned there won't come any new updates anymore!
After working really hard on it for more than 2 month(!) I proudly present my first CM10.1 T-Build :fingers-crossed:
I put lots and lots of effort into it to create a great, smooth and bugfree rom experience for you guys.
I tried to fix all huge bugs on CM10.1 like bluetooth fast forwarding and the wifi hotspot.
Additionally I took the time to create a non-neon gapps package, as the official 4.2 one does only support neon.

CM Known Bugs & Fixes:
This list shows what has been done so far.
As you can guess by the sheer amount of the fixed bugs there has been put lots and lots of time into this ROM.
And don't forget about all the awesome work pengus77 has put into the kernel - without him we would still suffer from bsods and huge battery drain.
Do NOT post or ask about stuff on the known bugs list!
The bug is listed here - I don't need to get reminded that it's there.
If there's progress or an ETA or anything we will post about it - if not there's not.
I really mean it! Do not ask, it's just annoying. It might only lead to us abandoning the work on the bug.
Oh check the "plans for the next build" section below as well.
But of course you're very welcome to post a decent fixing idea or development related note in'te the CM10.1 development discussion.
Hall of shame of people who ignored my warnings and still posted about already known bugs.
If someone continuously breaks this threads rules you'll land on my ignore list.
tonyp (damn!)

Plans for future builds:
Bugs fixes:
-
Other:
GCC 4.7 experiments
CREDITS:
arcee and the CM team for all the work they did.
pengus77 for his awesome work at the kernel and new bootloader.
niko (Andrei E.) for his work on including the bluez stack into android.
marsgod for fixing the callbug on the old bootloader.
wkpark for the cracked ICS bootloader, the ramhack idea, and all is valid input.
goo.im, AndroidFileHost and vadonka for providing me great hosting services.
I got a bug - can I report it?:
If you want me to take the time to help and fix your bugs I expect you to take the time and do this properly!
Quick check: Did you do a full wipe before installing build 01? If not you need to do that first!
Check the known bugs section. If it's listed or mentioned there, drop it (and wait patiently if it'll get fixed eventually).
Use the search function and try to find if others have been posted about it.
You're only at the app and can't properly search within a thread?
Then wait until you're at home and report the bug from there!
Check the last 3 pages if the bug has been mentioned there.
You still with me? All of this takes too much of your precious time?
Then use another ROM!
Still nothing? Then report the bug in this thread.
Always attach logs to your bugreport!! Bug reports without logs will get ignored completely.
Study this for more details: [Reference] How to get useful logs
People who fail in doing this properly will get into the hall of shame.
Downloads:
ROM:
By downloading and/or using this ROM you agree to the guidlines of this thread:
Read and understand the entire OP!
Yes, it takes a couple minutes - but what's that compared to the 2+ month I put into the ROM??
Don't be a douchebag!
Follow the rules!
If you agree click the button and download the ROM :fingers-crossed:
Download: http://tonyp.basketbuild.com
Make sure to download the correct version for your bootloader!
Mirror: http://goo.im/devs/tonyp
Gapps:
This ROM already has tiny gapps included! That's a minimum gapps package (<20mb)
I put a lot of effort into integrating the required apps and libs and tested it carefully.
I choose this approach because of the many problems that the standard package causes to our non-neon Tegra2 phone.
Included are only the most basic (g)apps like Playstore, Talk (with working videochat), Calendar sync provicer etc.
If you want to remove the included gapps flash this package after flashing the ROM:
CM10.1-gapps-remover-tonyp.zip
For those of you who want the "full" gapps package including Google Now, TTS, Faceunlock, voice search etc. I worked on a full non-neon gapps package.
Get it from this thread: Non-neon Gapps (Android 4.2) dev-discussion thread
Do NOT flash any other gapps package - they aren't compatible with our phone!
If you accidently did that then format /system and reflash the ROM.
This is necessary to prevent bugs like like the keyboard closing while typing.
Addons:
You can download my officially supported addons from the addons folder:
http://goo.im/devs/tonyp/CM10.1-T-Builds/addons
This ROM has native support for Quickmemo.
For more details read this post.
I've build patches for OpenPdroid and PDroid2.0.
For more details read this post.
Kernel:
kowalski kernel thread
This ROM comes with the awesome kowalski kernel by pengus77.
For new versions (which come regularly) check out his thread!
Various:
TWRP recovery for both bootloaders
my modded adb drivers
Instructions:
Updating to a newer T-Build::
No wipes or system-format needed!
Choose the correct ROM for your bootloader
Flash the ROM
Flash the latest kowalski kernel
Tiny Gapps are included, so there's no need to flash gapps if those are enough for you.
If you want the full gapps package use the non-neon one I provide here.
If you want to remove gapps flash this package after flashing the ROM: CM10.1-gapps-remover-tonyp.zip
Reboot
Coming from another ROM:
If you're on the newbl either use pengus CWM 6.0.2.5 or my TWRP!
Other recoveries won't work.
oldbl users can use any CWM >5 or TWRP version.
Do a full wipe!
Just do the wipe, you will be thankful afterwards when everything does run better.
Format /system
Choose the correct ROM for your bootloader
Flash the ROM
Flash the latest kowalski kernel
Tiny Gapps are included, so there's no need to flash gapps if those are enough for you.
If you want the full gapps package use the non-neon one I provide here.
If you want to remove gapps flash this package after flashing the ROM: CM10.1-gapps-remover-tonyp.zip
Reboot
Don't restore system apps (like Settings) or system data (like Wifi data) with TitaniumBackup!
My personal recommended configuration:
Go to Settings - Performance - Processor and change the "Maximum CPU frequency" to 1200 (or even 1500) and "Set on Boot"
Open the KowalskiManager
enable the 3 power saving options at the top
lower TX Power to 11
Change the SD readaheads to 512
enable dynamic fsync
This ROM comes pre-configured with the following memory management changes:
zRAM enabled with 18%
tonyp memory management enabled
purgeable assets enabled
Changelog:
T-Build 01
T-Build 02
T-Build 03
T-Build 04
T-Build 05
Let me leave with a couple more notes:
This ROMs focus is stability! It's intention is to be a daily driver without the need to constantly flash new updates - that's why I kept you guys waiting that long and didn't release my daily testbuilds (more like 3 builds a day actually) which haven't been perfectly stable, yet.
That's why I took CM10.1 M3 as a base and don't merge in nightly features - everything in this ROM should be well tested and fully working.
I only picked memoryleak fix that's been discovered after M3.
I won't cherrypick each and every feature that's in some other ROM!
If there's a real useful addition that I personally like I will do it, but the fancy stuff has to go into other ROMs.
You guys know me - I am mostly patient and don't mind slight offtopic posts.
For completely offtopic posts you can use the CM 10.1 discussion thread.
... but I hate people who are lazy and don't do their own research. I spent countless hours on this ROM, I think I can expect you to spent a little time before asking questions.
I am not a vendor who's obligated to release a ROM for the phone - I am doing this in my free time for you and me.
So please - don't behave like a total noob. Or [email protected] and I will have a busy fishlapping time
F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions:
How can I swap the mounting points for internal SD card and external SD card?
If you're on the new bootloader, flash this script via Recovery (thanks, @C0D3N1N3R!). For those on the old bootloader, you need this one instead (thanks, @SWTR!).
Which gapps package should I use with this ROM?
Seriously? You haven't been paying attention, have you? Go read the posts above this one!
Which PDroid version should I use?
It's a matter of personal preference, actually. Try both and see which one fits your needs the best. Keep in mind that if you're switching between Openpdroid and PDroid 2.0 (or viceversa) you need to uninstall the app and re-flash the ROM first, or else this kitten will die and it'll be in your conscience forever! I'm serious!!
Just flashed this ROM via recovery and can't get past the boot logo, what's wrong?
Chances are that you're using the wrong Recovery. Try pengus' CMW v6.0.2.5 and flash the ROM again. If the problem persists, check that the ROM zip file isn't corrupted (see each build's md5 hash on tonyp's goo.im CM10.1 folder). If none of that helps, then you better get Tony some logs
How can I know which bootloader my device is using?
An easy way to indentify this is by seeing the bootloader logo that appears when you turn on your device: white -> old bootloader, pink -> new bootloader.
How can I set a custom DPI on this ROM?
You can either use the Google Play DPI Fix Tool, or Tony's personal recommendation: Xposed in combination with Xposed App Settings (link down, use this one or this one instead for now) (see reference by @rugglez).
Viber doesn't work on this ROM, I can't even make a call. What can I do?
According to what we have read, recent versions of Viber won't work on CM 10+ for our device. Apparently, the developers of the app were been notified about the issue and they might look into it soon. Worry not, my friend, since not everything is lost. According to @engine24, Viber version 2.3.6.338 seems to be working alright. Make sure you uninstall your current version of Viber first before installing this one, though!
Battery drain is a bit too high, what's happening?
If you just flashed this ROM, please do one or two full battery charge cycles and see if it helps. Also, check on BetterBatteryStats for rogue apps keeping your device awake (and this is definitely worth a read!).
My screen goes bright before unlocking / after locking?
It's a known issue when using autobrightness. There's no fix for this at the moment.
My GPS takes ages to get a lock, how can I fix it?
Try the latest version available of the Google Specific No-SSL AGPS patch by @crypted. Unpack the gps.conf file and copy it into /system/etc/ using a root file explorer (set permissions to rw-r--r--). Optionally, you can add ro.ril.def.agps.mode = 1 to build.prop (find it in /system folder) but only if you're still having problems after applying the patch.
And, in case you're wondering, the answer is no: this patch won't be integrated into the ROM, so don't ask ... or will it?
Edit: that damn Tony added it to T-Build 3, so this is no longer necessary (unless he decides to drop it hehe)
Hardware Search key is not working!
Go to Settings > System > Hardware keys and make sure that Enable custom actions is checked. Also, change Search key action to In-app Search.

Project discontinued because there are by far better CM10.1 releases by Wayland_Ace and others.
Despite that, i got a new device and my good ol' SGA is now in hands of my wife. I hope, i could give something to the community. Thanx for everything..
Most credits go to 'TheWhisp'. So if you want to thank someone, Say thanks to him. He made most of this possible.
Another 'special' credit and a very warm 'Thank you' goes to 'erikcas' who helped me a lot in creating this release.
This thread is for development only. If your post is not development related, DO NOT post here. Post in the general thread. Any person not following these rules WILL receive an infraction, this is your only warning.
Introduction - First of all, We're all doing this as a hobby. This is not our job, so, please, follow these simple rules:
* Don't ask for estimated time of arrival (ETA). I will release a new build when I feel it's ready.
* Don't request any additional features. This is meant to be pure ROM from CyanogenMod sources, so any 3rd party features will not be added.

- Due to the fact that in this latest release cooper device sources did not change, it has ONLY been tested for boot up. No further tests (wifi, bluetooth, etc..) were made.
- Some people report performance increases of UI by removing 'hwcomposer.msm7x27.so' from /system/lib/hw. This has not been tested by me. But you can try and report back here, if it really works. (As always: Don't forget to do a CWM backup first)
- As long as there are no significant changes in CM sources or improvements in device sources, there will be no new CM10 release after this one because focusing on CM10.1 from now on.
Notes about 'Google Now'
Google Now seems to be a general problem in many ROM's. For more information see this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224 If someone wants to do something for this ROM, she/he can check out this thread if there's a solution for us.
Tweaking
Some people asked me, what i recommend to make Jellaxy more reponsible and faster. So here are my personal recommendations for tweaking.
Some words on Tweaking.
During the last weeks, i've read a lot of 'my rom is laggy' posts in general thread and here. I think some words should be said on this.
First of all, be aware that all those 'Turbo' scripts floating around do more or less ALL the same. They all manipulate system and kernel settings by writing values to special 'device files'. Most effective results are/were achieved by writing new OOM values to '/sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/adj' and '/sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree'. Since ICS, writing to this device files via init.d scripts doesn't work anymore, because since ICS those values are overwritten with default values later during boot up. This is why i added code to Jellaxy which makes it possible to set this values in 'build.prop' (See here: https://github.com/Jellaxy/android_frameworks_base/commit/326ed3a470a610242eff753ac396e666598e089d). This is also, why Supercharger needs a patched 'services.jar' to work in ICS and JB. In the latest release of CM10, i already changed OOM values (based on OOM Calculator by zeppelinox) and lowered the max. number of hidden apps to 10 (See build.prop). I don't think that any script will make things 'revolutionary' better. However, you should always have in mind that:
278Mb stays 278Mb, whatever you do. No script in this world can change this
We are on JB and not an GB anymore. JB was never meant to run on devices with just 278 Mb of memory
So i recommend to try to run Jellaxy CM10 without any tweaking script first. Let it settle down and wait a day. Additionally try to limit max. number of Background processes to 4 in 'Developer Settings'.
Try to use swapping, if it makes things better for you or not.
If you want to try out a tweaking script, make a CWM backup first. So you can always revert back if something goes wrong. And always try only one script at a time and DO NOT flash all scripts that promise to give you 'the ultimate fastest machine on the planet'.
..2SD
Most of you will probably have noticed that for some reason most available scripts have an impact on performance. I recommend to use 'Link2sd' from Playstore. It's the only one i've found so far, which pushes apps, dalvik and system libs to SD without breaking performance.
Have a lot of fun with Jellaxy
good luck with that, meanwhile waiting for wayland git to make a stable cm9.
Greetings.
EDIT: i forgot! it's working with erikcas kernel on github?? i'm compiling a nimms kernel (experimental only) but i'm not sure which kernel are more stable...
I installed this one via CWM, but it wont boot, i only see new CM10 logo more then 20 min!

FIT has that problem to strange isnt it FIT and ACE have 5MP camera and they dont work. GIO and MINI 3MP work lol... Some camera apps work on FIT so i think they will work on ACE NightVisionCam, twisted camera.
I think problem could be that camera isnt properly recognized all camera apps think that camera is 3MP and we cant put 5MP
Ill tell you this now, this rom is super super smooth, launcher is great and super super fast! Man great job
If you have any questions or want to discuss this ROM, please use the general thread which I've made to prevent spam in this thread.
Does not boot
After installation, i can see a boot animation and that is all, so it does not boot.

Google Now doesn't work. It says that there are some problems with sound. Any one else has this problem?
Bug-Music does not appear in any music app
Update: I have fixed the problem, you have to delete the .nomedia files located in the music folder, sorry for inconvenience
deep sleep doesn't work after flashing gapps
Any way to get this ROM booting without SD card partitioning?

Presenting MIUIv4 3.2.8 Jellybean (4.1.2) (unofficial)
Read this post entirely before using the ROM or asking any questions!
Firstly, I want to thank Ricardo for all his work on CM for our phone. Since this ROM uses CM10 as base, it would not be possible without RC's work.
This ROM has been ported to the O2x from various other devices having official MIUI support (such as the Nexus S, Atrix etc.) and the MIUI team deserves credit for all of that.
Details of the ROM:
For use with old(GB) bootloader, tested with CWM recovery 6.0.1.5
Multilanguage support
For the list of languages supported, see post 3
Refer post 3 if you want to use a language other than English or Chinese

Known issues:
Stock clock widget on default theme may not work sometimes. Works with any other theme (you can change only widget's theme too, without changing full theme)
FAQ:
Q. What to do if my USB Mass Storage is not working?
A: In Android terminal emulator (install from play store if you havent already), type this one by one (hope you already activated root permission first in Security-> LBE Guard)
Code:
su
setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage
reboot
Q. GPS not working satisfactorily
A: Try this
Tips on using the ROM:
To charge normally (fast), turn off phone, plug charger, wait for a minute (till the charging animation goes off and phone is off again) and turn on phone. Now it will charge fast. This is the standard procedure for all JB ROMs. If you dont follow this, charging will be slow.
Camera:
If you are not satisfied with the quality and performance of the stock camera app, use the bundled 'ICS Camera', or an app like 'Camera360 Ultimate' (free app from the play store). It will produce better quality images.
If you get a clicking sound when starting and closing camera, dont worry, read this
Superuser:
Before installing anything, first activate root permission from 'LBE Guard' app in 'Security Center' folder. Select 'manage root permission' and enable it.
This only needs to be done once, and all superuser prompts will come as usual when you install/use root apps.
If you installed or tried to use any root apps before doing this, and your app no longer gets root access, reinstall that app. Also includes a custom hosts file, which you have the option to remove if you want to see ads.
Themes:
MIUIv4 requires you to have a free Xiaomi account to apply themes.
Creating the account is free, quick and very easy
Dont complain if boot animation does not apply!
If you had old MIUI themes (like MIUI GB themes) in your MIUI folder on your sd card, the theme manager may try to convert them to the new format, which may take a long time. If it fails, remove those themes from your sd card.
If you downloaded a theme and it does not appear automatically in themes, press menu inside the theme manager app, and manually browse and select the .mtz file (in your sd card/MIUI/themes folder) and restart the app.
Battery:
To see percentage battery indicator on the status bar, go to settings->battery and change the battery indicator style
Performance:
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this.
If the ROM becomes slow over time, do a reboot.
And try not to do a lot of stuff in the first few seconds when SD card scanning is going on, sync is going on or when apps are updating in the background. Its not right to complain of "this/that doesnt work" or lag when you do that

Gapps
Instructions:
1. In recovery, wipe data if you are coming from any ROM other than MIUIv4 JB (even if you are upgrading from beta to stable, wipe is needed), and format /system (this needs to be done even while upgrading from older version)
2. Flash the ROM and then gapps
3. Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
4. Reboot. First boot takes time, be patient.

MIUIv4 Alternative version (2.10.26)
Q: Woah! I expected a newer version, and you released an older one?
A: Yes, and there's a major reason for that.
Versions later than 2.10.26 (including the previously released 2.11.30) require authorization from Xiaomi to apply themes.
Q: So, what's wrong with that?
A: Xiaomi obviously had good intentions while taking this step, like the newly planned category of paid(premium) themes and using authorization to prevent its misuse, but it causes some problems in using themes. You simply cannot use external themes (downloaded from outside theme manager) since the authorization is rejected. In some cases, even themes downloaded using the manager give error "not downloaded from the official market" due to a bug. Boot animations also could not be applied sometimes due to the bug.
Q: Ok, but what about the improvements between 2.10.26 and 2.11.30? Wont i have to sacrifice those?
A: Yes, but though there may seem to be a lot of changes in the changelog in every new version, the overall experience difference is minor, or hard to notice unless you are upgrading from/downgrading to a version which differs by, say a couple of months or more.
In short, you will hardly feel the difference. If you like to apply external themes and even try out lots of themes from the market (theme manager), then this is the version for you. All later versions have the authorization problem listed above.
Instructions:
If you are satisfied with your current MIUI 2.11.30, you can continue with it. This version contains no other change, other than the one regarding the themes, listed above.
1. If you are coming from version 2.11.30 stable, backup data using "backup" app in security center, and backup apps.
2. Reboot into recovery, format /system
3. Flash ROM, gapps
4. Make a full wipe (data, cache, dalvik cache) and reboot
If you dont wipe data, you may get phone app FC. To tell you how easy it is to backup and restore data in MIUI, I included steps 1 and 5
5. Restore data backed up in step 1 (system settings, call logs, contacts, sms etc. in "backup" app and apps using whatever you used to backup, like Titanium Backup)
Download link
Q: Will the next version you release be even older than this?
A: Who knows.... maybe
It all depends on whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages
Standard disclaimer:
I am not responsible if anything goes wrong with your phone.
If someone has posted a bug and you have the same bug, just thank their post or wait. No need to flood with the same bug reports.
Small problems such as some app related problems can be dealt with at a later stage.

Flash directly in recovery, without wiping data or formatting /system
If you want to use the addons, you need to flash the supercharger, kernel, tonyp_dpi_changer addons(whichever you want among these) again after flashing this update.
Instructions:
1. Reboot into recovery and flash this update
*Optional*
2. Flash addons. If you are using all 3 addons, flash supercharger first, then the kernel and tonyp_dpi_changer in any order
3. Wipe cache, dalvik cache and reboot
Download link
Since it is a common updater, for 2.10.26 too, the version will show as 2.11.30 in "About phone" after update, without supercharger. Dont worry, its still 2.10.26 for you
Addons:
Recommended kernel by pidocchio here
1)Kernel compiled from source with 32MB RAM hack by wkpark and other tweaks by benee and feav
Link
2) V6 Supercharger by zeppelinrox and other performance tweaks for MIUIv4 (Highly recommended addon!)
zoom...zoom...
Warning: There are separate versions of this for 2.10.26 and 2.11.30
Make sure that you flash the right version
Contains:
V6 supercharger by zeppelinrox. It is entirely his work, and here is the link to his thread
Contains 100% supercharged version (with supercharged services.jar and init script) already configured, and baked into the ROM
Kernel compiled from source by feav, containing 24 MB RAM hack by wkpark, and touch boost driver by benee (This does not contain the zram script since it conflicts with supercharger). These are the work of the above 3, and they deserve credits for those
Instructions:
1.If you had installed performance pack earlier, remove zram init script from /system/etc/init.d
Or else, alternatively, you can just format /system and reflash the ROM and gapps in recovery.
2. Flash the supercharger zip
3. wipe cache, dalvik cache and reboot
If before rebooting, CWM gives a warning saying that "root access may be lost. fix?" select yes
Done!
Download link for 2.10.26 v6 supercharger
Download link for 2.11.30 v6 supercharger
Enjoy your supercharged phone and dont forget to thank the devs who made this possible
If you like this addon, you can thank feav and benee on this thread and over here and wkpark on his thread.
3) MIUI control panel for 2.10.26 (including app drawer addon)
This is andy thomson's "extended settings" or control panel to allow further customization. Has various settings such as clock location change, carrier options, overscroll options, changing color of anything on the status bar, app drawer etc.
Check the attached screenshot where the clock position has been set to centre, and carrier, clock and battery indicator colors have been changed (i know its not a good color combo, but this is just for demo ) using this.
How to enable app drawer from MIUI control app (instructions by gh.rohit)
Go to MIUI Control Panel:
1. Go to "App drawer Options"
2. Select your pull down Location preference
3. Click "Auto Start" to "On"
4. Enable it, press back key button ( Do not close app from task killer )
5. Go to any screen and click ~just below~ (aprox 1mm) the statusbar at your chosen location and hold until a new pulldown appears
Instructions:
Flash in recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot
Due to low RAM, the jb control panel/app drawer process may get killed off, thus the app drawer may disappear. To prevent this, you can make the app bulletproof using the V6 supercharger (after you installed it from the previous post)
Download link
Link to andy thomson's thread is here.
4) DPI changer by tonyp
Also very useful for people who have used PA for a long time, and used to smaller dpi.
(It is not per-app based like in PA, but still very good)
Link to tonyp's post where you can download this:
Link
All credit to him, I just tested it with this ROM and it works fine. You can set grid size as 4x5 in launcher settings.
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this

Instructions:
1. Flash the English (original) ROM normally first
2. Boot into the ROM and complete the setup in English, till the homescreen appears
3. Flash the ML pack without wiping data. Only wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot
Use gapps-lite attached below, since regular gapps wont fit into system partition along with the multilanguage pack
Older versions:
Multilanguage pack for version 3.1.11:

MIUI v4 2.11.30 Multilanguage ROM
Read this post entirely if you want to use this!
Use this if you are uncomfortable with English or Chinese language. So if you are happy with using the original English/Chinese version, no need of this.
This is supposed to be flashed over the English ROM without wipe, so read the following instructions carefully. You need both the ROM zip files(English as well as multilanguage) for this.
Only for users who are not comfortable with English language ROM.
I have also uploaded a special gapps-lite of reduced size for this multilanguage ROM, since full gapps wont fit into /system partition (it fits fine with English-only version). Flash this gapps-lite, not regular one.
Instructions:
If you are already using the English version
1. In recovery, format /system
2. Flash ROM, gapps-lite
3. Wipe cache, dalvik cache and reboot (dont wipe data)
If you are doing a fresh install
1. In recovery, format /system and flash English ROM
2. wipe data, cache, dalvik cache and reboot
3. complete the setup in english (you can press "skip" whereever possible)
4. Reboot into recovery and format /system
5. flash ML ROM, gapps-lite
6. wipe cache, dalvik cache and reboot (dont wipe data here)

If Theme manager does not work, try the version attached below (overwrite in /system/app and set permission to rw-r--r--)
Theme manager may work only in English, and all other stuff should work in other languages too.
Remember that this is experimental. It should not cause any harm to your phone, but i cant guarantee that it will work on your phone (though i tested it).
Some translations may be broken, but many should work.
Subscribed. I'll follow this, and try it for sure. Probably the CM10 bugs are present. Hopefully that will be fixed soon (P990 sources). Cheers mate!
Will try once the call bug is confirmed working, likely when source released by LG...
Awesome! Downloading now!

Sick! Thanks. I'll wait for official release and sources and some bug squashing before trying it though. I really want to but I have to have a stable phone now.
Anyway - thank you for your hard work, Rugglez!
thank u for the port will be good to see miui jb stable on o2x! i will test it
Thank's Bro, I will test when i go Home.
+1 for you.

Its not as unstable as you may think
We may never get official MIUI beyond what exists now, so that wait may never end
Most of the features work. I just tried to say that its an initial release, so there could be bugs which i have not seen yet, but backup and give it a try, you may find it stable enough for daily use too
Wow, just... wow... Smooth fast and stable... Love it. Just the issue with MIUIlauncher, but trebuchet works great for me
Great work!

I am mostly troubled by the call bug. I had CM10 nightly and I had the bug. Everything else was working great but a phone without a proper phone function is just a small tablet. When LG release proper documentation and it's implemented into CM10 (thus in you rom too) I will surely try your MIUI. I am a huge MIUI fan and ran WIUI for like 6-7 months... Yesterday I NVFlashed topogigi's rom and I am quite happy how it's bug free and stable and just everything works. Once MIUI has proper drivers though I am not coming back to official roms.

Hehe, no bro, i didnt get offended or anything, just said that I may have made the ROM to look more unstable than it actually is in the first post , nothing to worry about.
And yes, it pains to have a ROM with a call bug. Hopefully the P990 sources will help with this and maybe the CM10 battery drain too. Then we can always have ROMs up to date with the latest base and with bugs fixed
Yay! Downloading! Hoping to find a solution for the common/known CM10 bugs.

Good job! Very smooth and fast! MiLauncher problem, force exits. Does not connect to USB.
And please, add Russian language. The Forum 4pda.ru actively discusses all firmware for phones.

4pda Forum Russian just very active. We test many firmwares. We are analog x in Russia
I think if you add the Russian language in the firmware of the number of people who will test the firmware at times will increase.
tried, like a lot, back to MIUI of old for now until bugs ironed out. Will follow and look forward to a later release. PS is the wether widget now available outside of China?
F***ing AWESOME.. I thought we were abandoned by MIUI group..
Thanks for bringing it to us..

Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a developer... However, by READING, SEARCHING, and TRYING, I've learned some tricks of the trade. One of them has been building from source. All I am doing is putting a few pieces together to make it compile, all the hard work has been done by h8rift and mg2195. Their repos, hard work, and dedication build this ROM - all thanks/credit goes to them as well as the PACman, CM, AOKP, and the PA teams. Being that this is built off of h8/mg's trees, any bugs present in the CM10 ROM will be present in this ROM. The box that I compile on is by no means speedy, so updates will come when there are major breakthroughs, as soon as I can get them built. Feel free to post bugs, but please don't expect them to be addressed quickly, especially if it's not on h8's or mg's to-do list - like I said, I'm not a developer, but I will be tinkering – but with 4 kids, a full time job, a house to manage, and a build PC that’s years behind the game, play time comes sparingly. I test these builds on my own device before any release, but I do not claim it will work for everyone. ALWAYS have a nandroid in case of emergencies. I am NOT responsible for bricked devices or catastrophic failure

RECOMMENDATIONS/MY PREFERENCES/TIPS
I've chosen not to incorporate these things into the builds, as they are easy enough to do on your own, and I didn't want to shove my preferences down others throats. Feel free to ignore any and/or all of these.
Code:
- Use a different launcher. I like Holo Launcher, I'm sure others work as well - but Trebuchet/Launcher2 seems
kinda choppy compared to alternate launchers.
- Use a different file browser. I use JRummy's Root Browser, find his thread on XDA for getting
rid of the ads. Again, I'm sure others work as well. CM's file manager is included - if you choose
to use it, make sure you enable Root Access in settings. I feel like other browsers are
currently superior to CM's, but YMMV
- Find a flashplayer 11 apk (available all over the web) and install it.
- Turn off keyboard vibrations (language and input in settings). Typing seems way more smooth (as it
always does on every device I've ever used)
- Turn on Developer Options in settings, and turn on Android debugging. Also in Developer Options,
choose Root access, and set it to Apps and ADB
- Allow installation of apps from Unknown Sources in Settings > Security
- You can find a quick guide for using Paranoid Settings here ([url]http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35018434&postcount=2[/url])
NOT WORKING
Code:
- 720/1080p playback hiccups sometimes and tells you it can't play the video. Just restart it.
Also, fast forwarding 720/1080 isn't working great either.
- Can't adjust in call volume. The slider moves, but volume level stays the same.
- Currently some users have reported that the remote party hears themselves echo in a
call
- You tell me

H8rift and mg2195 are to thank. Can't stress that enough. Without them you can forget about these ones.
So many ROMS XD. Kudos to the devs for not giving up on the vivid
Well, now that I see what PAC man is, I'm interested in trying this too! (when time allows)
I just loaded this rom on my Inspire when my Vivid bricked. I loved this ROM for the day and half I rolled it. Eagerly awaiting some of the bugs to be ironed out to make this my daily driver.

in ics when i install a new custom rom, i must install 'wifix manager' to fix wifi
in jelly bean wifix manager doesn't work for me because can't install it's driver
if you guys don't have problem with wifi, i think i have old problem (need wifix manager)
edit: i think this app change my wifi region code
my problem solved. in wifi advance menu, you can change wifi region code. i set it to china
I get horrible batt. Life even when wiping everything especially when screen is on but not doing anythig processor intensive

I noticed since last update battery life has detereated a bit, but still as good if not better than Pegasus ICS rom
sent from my rooted, S-Off HTC Vivid 4G \o/
running CyanogenMod 10 JellyBean 4.1.2
Has to be placebo or a bad flash cause nothing changed that would affect battery good or bad...unless you're using the camera a bunch
ATT in call mic fix..
It seems it doesn't initialize with the first call, but each call after that I've tried I've been audible
http://www.mediafire.com/?ko0r125knhppo91
Flashable in recovery for S-Off users, S-On users will need to fastboot flash boot.img that's included after flashing this in recovery.
i know it's not 100%, but closer i guess
I'll have full builds up later today

Nope

Presenting MIUIv4 Jellybean (4.1.2) 3.2.8 for the new bootloader (unofficial)
Read this post entirely before using the ROM or asking any questions!
Firstly, I want to thank Ricardo for all his work on CM for our phone. Since this ROM uses CM10 as base, it would not be possible without RC's work.
This ROM has been ported to the O2x from various other devices having official MIUI support (such as the Nexus S, Atrix etc.) and the MIUI team deserves credit for all of that.
This would not be possible without pengus77 and the other devs who brought CM10 to the new bootloader. His thread is here
Details of the ROM:
For use with NEW unlocked ICS bootloader only, tested with CWM recovery 6.0.1.5
Multilanguage support (refer post #2)
Does not come with gapps, you need to flash it separately
Screenshots:
(Theme applied below is 'Dark knight HD' by remcis, so thanks to him)
Screenshots attached below the post again in case you cannot see these

Tips on using the ROM:
To charge normally (fast), turn off phone, plug charger, wait for a minute (till the charging animation goes off and phone is off again) and turn on phone. Now it will charge fast. This is the standard procedure for all JB ROMs. If you dont follow this, charging will be slow.
You need to turn auto-brightness off if the LED notification lights stay on even with screen is off!
Battery:
To see percentage battery indicator on the status bar, go to settings->battery and change the battery indicator style
Performance:
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options

Standard disclaimer:
I am not responsible if anything goes wrong with your phone.
If someone has posted a bug and you have the same bug, just thank their post or wait. No need to flood with the same bug reports.
Small problems such as some app related problems can be dealt with at a later stage.
Known issues:
Stock clock widget on default theme may not work sometimes. Works with any other theme (you can change only widget's theme too, without changing full theme)
Unable to change ringtone? Use this fix

zeppelinrox for his v6 supercharger and carburano for supercharger values
Wajk and bihariel for their previous MIUI ROMs which i used, and which inspired me to make this ROM

If you cant change ringtone, flash this fix.
Instructions:
1. Flash the English (original) ROM normally first
2. Boot into the ROM and complete the setup in English, till the homescreen appears
3. Flash the ML pack without wiping data. Only wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot
If you wipe data in between flashing the 2 ROMs or after flashing ML pack, you will not get network signal and some apps may FC. So, dont wipe data in between.
Older versions:

Download link for version 2.10.26
ADDONS:
1) Recommended kernel

2) V6 Supercharger by zeppelinrox and other performance tweaks for MIUIv4 2.10.26 only (Experimental addon!)
zoom...zoom...
Contains:
V6 supercharger by zeppelinrox. It is entirely his work, and here is the link to his thread
Contains 100% supercharged version (with supercharged services.jar and init script) already configured, and baked into the ROM
Done!
Download link
Enjoy your supercharged phone and dont forget to thank the devs who made this possible
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this

I can assume this is based on latest cm-10-20121224-NIGHTLY?
Ans: I found my answer on the CM10 thead, Merry Christmas Edition is based on 24Dec nightly.
Will you make a custom kernel for CM10(.1) that works on new bootloader?
Anyway, awesome job mate. I'll try it for sure. Loved MIUI. :good:

The ROM base is a self compiled build from source on 24th with fixes by pengus77 to make it boot in the new boot loader. The multi language pack will be released today, and the kernel with ram hack may follow later.
Pdroid will also be included then later.
So enjoy and dont forget to thank Pengus for making this possible

This kernel will be compatible with pengus77 cm10?
Multilanguage version uploaded. Read the instructions in post #2 before flashing.
Now working on the kernel. Will support CM10, MIUIv4 and other new bootloader ROMs based on CM10 (not 10.1 for now)
Hi all, Is the fast charging method a workaround right?
Coming soon
What language that include in multi-language version perhaps it not include the language that someone need so they don't need to download it.

In case of questions or comments, you must indicate additional apps, tweaks or installed "optimizations".

I assume you has installed a suitable Recovery and know how to perform the required steps.
Keep in mind that Antutu and others related apps give you very similar values, regardless of the Rom used.
In such apps, OC influence on speed, but its goal is to evaluate the hardware, not the Rom.
Don't use any kind of overclock before three consecutive stability test in Antutu.
> Rom take a long time to boot after installing.
It is quite normal if ART runtime is used as applications are self-compiled at first boot time, after installing a new Rom or changing to ART.
> Applications are slow to start after installing.
It is quite normal if ART is used because apps have self-compiled before first use.
Although it may seem at times, the Rom is not hung, just have to wait.

> Google Apps (Gapps).
All Gapps packages available are virtually identical.
Only differ, from each other, in the amount of installed applications.
Two different packages must be never installed as likely to cause Google applications FC.
The Dhollmen Gapps, being valid for any Rom, are specifically adapted for installation on it.
> Viper4 - Convolver - IRS.
This application controls the System Sound FX.
It also includes a number of advanced pre-equalizer settings (made by others) that are the IRS whose installation files requested.
Access to Convolver (manager of the IRS) is obtained by selecting the option Expert in Experience Settings.
Using another equalizer (provided by external applications) usually interfere with it.
You can only have one active equalizer in the system, but if you want to use another one, kindly Viper4 can be turned off.
> Restoring backups.
It is very common Titanium Backup (or similar) problems in Rom.
If backup /data partition are made and, after a change of Rom, restored, usually side effects will occur.
In this directory and subdirectories it contains, there are many configuration files and internal databases.
When it comes to a specific application should not be a problem as long as it is not part of the Rom.
When sub-directories containing settings are restored, the likelihood of problems increases exponentially.
For example, all Roms have a Settings application, but the content of his configurations differs between them and is not interchangeable.
Under no circumstances you should restore /system partition apps.

I do not want to look like I refuse to answer it, but now I'm not focused on as I solved each of the bugs I found.
Note that I have made several thousand code modifications by adding, modifying or deleting lines.
I started my work on past July, then I abandoned her to get involved in Carbon and then restarted in past October.
When I got the initial repo version this included numerous previous changes.
If your bearings me a little about these problems, I can try to locate code sections related and, perhaps then, will serve you as an aid.
Regards.

Can someone else with a 3113 or 3110 running this ROM test their mic to see if its working properly?
I went to use Google now an noticed it could not hear me. Then went to sound recorder, same results. Just to be sure, I opened pitchlab, an app I use to tune my guitar and a few other instruments and still no response from mic. Didn't see it in "known bugs" in the thread so that's why I'm asking. I did compare the libs and modules for mic from a previous nandroid of aokp that i know the mic worked just to make sure it was all there. All is there, like it should be..
Ill pastebin a logcat if noone else reports this but I figured I'd ask first.
For reference I installed it clean like so:
Did a full format of
/system
/cache
/data
/sdcard
Then installed the latest ROM.zip and gapps from first post. Everything else in the ROM works beautifull. Fast and smooth. Using for about three days as a daily driver before I noticed the mic problem. Didn't experience any other bugs and I have been through every setting in customization available to get it setup how I like.
P.S. using built-in kernel. And no Xposed or modules
Edit: Fixed.. updated my recovery and re-flashed a clean flash. Rom works quite nice. Fast and smooth. Ill report bugs if I find any.
Stable , fast and good battery life. Tablet UI interface it's wonderful! I test mic later

What is wrong with this ROM? Few times during the day a self restart. You can not watch the movies 720p.
