Any 3rd-Party Battery Recommendations for the Camera 2? - Galaxy Camera Accessories

I'd like to get an extra battery for my Camera 2, but it doesn't even appear that Samsung offers one. Anyone have any recommendations for a 3rd-party battery? I'd prefer to get one that comes with an external charger since I've been burned (literally) when charging 3rd-party Li-Ion batteries in my devices in the past.
Edit: I'm leaving this up because someone may find it of use, but I found the genuine Samsung BP2000 battery at B&H Photo for $30 along with the Samsung BC4GC2 charging cradle for $25. Even the 3rd-party batteries from China on eBay are $25. Don't know why the Samsung website doesn't sell its own batteries/chargers, but....

Excuse me as I reply to myself, but just to let everyone know the advertised OEM Samsung battery at B&H Photo is definitely the genuine thing, and despite reports to the contrary the Samsung battery charger does work with the BP2000 battery. Definitely a nice setup, and I'm glad I went this route. It's nice to have everything OEM and not too terribly expensive.

Thanks for looking into this! I just bought my fiancée this camera today and I was contemplating about getting an extra battery for her.

By the way, this is still working great. So much so that I bought a similar battery charger and extra batteries for my two sons' Galaxy S3 phones. It charges the battery quickly, and is a rather slick kit overall.

Battery Replacement from ebay

After the battery that came with my note stopped charging i decided to buy a replacement. So what do you think guys about this?

I have already bought it but i don't know if its really genuine. Feedback about the batteries they have selled so far is good. Batteries for my phone in my country cost 40 euros so i thought that this is a good offer but what if my phone gets damaged after using this battery? How do i recognize fake batteries?
Zerolemon plain and simple I paid 44. 95 for it makes the phone heavy but that's OK I like weight battery last 3 days

No, they're not genuine and will very likely not be true capacity.
If you're looking for a standard capacity aftermarket battery I would highly recommend these..
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B208QDU/
I use them every single day as I just keep 3 batteries charged via a external wall charger and just swap batteries when needed instead of leaving phone plugged in. They last as long as my genuine battery does.
As mentioned above though, If you want an external you cant beat the ZeroLemon
PS. In future please use search, We already have plenty of eBay/battery topics so you could have just replied to one of them or read them and not needed to. Opening topics like this just adds to an already cluttered forum.
Not to sound like Anker fan-boy lol!!!, but www.amazon.co.uk/Anker®-3100mAh-Battery-Samsung-GT-N7100/dp/B009OWLTLO/ - those are highly reliable and on US amazon have hundreds of 5-star reviews. Actually, I prefer their 2x battery + wall charger combo for $25: www.amazon.com/3100mAh-Batteries-T-Mobile-Cellular-EB595675LA/dp/B009SYL6C0/ - convenient to use one while charging the other one and swap it. Not sure if it's available on Amazon UK.
Well, i currently live in Cyprus so i can only order from the amazon uk and on amazon uk the shipping is very expensive so i can only buy from ebay. I don't know about anker batteries. Are they good?

I never had issues with them and reviewed all of their batteries, internal and external. Just so people wouldn't think that I'm biased because i review a lot of their stuff, just go to US Amazon and search for their products, typically hundreds and sometime thousands of 5-star reviews for their external batteries and internal batteries.

So, Pantapanta1, did You get the battery?
Can You test it with Nova Battery Tester, and provide results?
The battery came but i havent tried it yet. From what i can say its fake because the weight of the oem battery is 54g and the weight of this battery is 51. I will test and come with results!
7 dollars. Works great.

[Q] LG G4 replacement battery and battery charger?

I was wondering when replacement batteries and battery chargers for the g4 will be available because I won't be able to get the phone until after the free promotion and want to have a spare battery always on hand.
If you have any idea that would help me a lot! Thank you in advanced
Update: I just search on Amazon, I find three sellers sell the LG G4 replacement battery except OEM : Trendon, iVoler, Hyperion, and I also notice iVoler has a promotion about the battery by accident, save $5.00 on Battery or Battery & Battery Charger , so I want to try it, I use the code " 2CK9NFN7" to order a battery and a charger, it takes me just $ 15.99, it's much cheaper than OEM and another sellers, it's a great deal,I share with someone guys want it.
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Battery-Replacement-International-Hassle-Free/dp/B010Q0GSXQ

There are actually several options on Amazon now. http://www.amazon.com/LG-G4-Battery...&qid=1436673751&sr=8-5&keywords=lg+g4+battery
Or you could just buy the OEM battery and cradle on eBay. Warning though, a lot of the sellers are selling them for $50+, so it all depends on how much you would want to spend.

Idea
I have been thinking about purchasing 2 extra batteries (bundled with an intelligent battery charger, on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111714300303?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT) in conjunction with the promo extra battery + battery cradle bundle I have on the way. I'd have a total of 4 batteries. I'd love to stop charging my phone itself altogether and save on wear and tear on my G4's microUSB port. What do you guys think? Good idea or not? The bundle off eBay would only run me $18.89.
UPDATE: It was a great idea! I never leave the house without a spare battery, and only plug my phone in when I'm in the car because I use it for music.
Invalid battery message
I bought the TrendON battery on Amazon but got an invalid battery message just after the phone booted. When I plugged the phone into the charger without the phone booted, I got another error message about an invalid battery.
Anyone else have problems with aftermarket batteries in the G4?
Update: I just tried the other battery (the package came with two spares and a wall charger) and it worked fine. So I guess the first battery is bad; the phone handles the other aftermarket battery fine.
I purchased Trendon on Amazon. Two batteries and a charger.
I tried 1 battery in the phone for a few charges. I left the other battery sealed.
I didn't feel like the Trendon battery lasted as long as the OEM battery. I wasn't going to spend hours investigating the issue or the other Trendon battery.
I found a Samsung OEM LG G4 battery on ebay and ordered it for $6 less than the Trendon package, although it was for one OEM battery only, which is all I needed. There were many sellers, but with experience, you can choose the seller you think has the best product. Not 100%, but you can reduce your risks. I only needed one spare, as I've carried for years with all my phones.
I returned the Trendon package, received the OEM battery which worked equal to the battery which came with the G4. After messaging with the seller, I was able to choose the date of manufacturer of the 2 dates available for the battery I wanted.
This is not to say that Trendon doesn't make a good product, but in my experience, I try to go with a spare OEM.
Don't buy Trendon!
I bought the Trendon two pack. Charged them both. Put one in the phone, closed the back and saw a puff of smoke roll out. Ripped the back off to find a hole melted at the corner of the battery and melted plastic on the back cover/SIM card. I think I'll be sending them back. (/sarcasm) Didn't bother to try the other one.

Well that's a little scary! I also bought the TrendOn 2 pack with charger. I've been using them for just over a week with several charges on each. So far haven't had any problems. One thing I noticed is that battery and BMS? temp are always locked at 23.5°C and 23°C when using the TrendOn batteries. Where the LG will fluctuate with usage. Right now BMS is showing 39°C and batt is showing 36°C (while plugged in/charging).
The benefit of that is my phone seems? to charge faster with the cable when using the TrendOn, but this could be a bad thing and potentially damaging to the phone/battery. I pay more attention to phone temp while charging if I'm using it, such as GPS in the car. With the OEM battery I'm not worried as much.
Overall I am satisfied with the TrendOn batteries. After a few charges I feel they last as long, if not longer, than the OEM battery that came with the phone. I bought my phone used so I'm unsure how much usage the original battery had.

There are dozens of different reasons why someone might not be getting the best experience from their phone's battery but here are six things that can be quickly done to help extend the G4's battery life. and before do this you can check this link kindly

Nexus 7 2012 Replacement Battery

I've completed a fair bit of googling and found a number of questionable replacement batteries. Ideally I would buy an ASUS OEM battery, but it seems like many websites are selling knock offs instead.
Anyone with a good experience finding a suitable replacement battery? The newpower99 kit seems okay, but it's a bit pricey for a 3rd party option

I had poor experience on the Samsung Fascinate with replacement batteries. The "genuine" batteries on Amazon were just knockoffs with fake labels. This might require calling ASUS for a supplier.
I got a "genuine" one off Amazon with prime shipping for under $20. Replacement was a snap. I actually didn't "need" a new battery as the USB port was the culprit, but it was a genuine OEM battery and it held up just fine.

I've ordered a new battery from China, easy to install and you can do a little customization like reconnecting the ribbons cables inside to make it work like new. The new battery give me longer time to use and the same time to charge.

Hi. Thanks for the guide.
A question: In the Amazon kit, is there the additional tool to remove the cover or not?
Thanks.
you don't really need a kit, the cover is easy to remove, I've just used a knife. With all those videos that explain how to do it, it's kid's play. I thought it would be a big deal but no ,it's a super easy job. Just a sharp knife for the start and a butter knife to continue removing the cover... if you order the more expensive american kit, it has some plastic tools.
before changing the battery, just run the app named battery life repair, run it and see if it help.
As to charging speed, I've seen this week that it can depend of the wires, I have 2 asus wires and others, and only 1 will give me a decent charging amperage with the asus 2 amp charger. You can check this out with the app AMPERE

I tried waiting at Samsung web site for over 3 weeks for a battery, with no response, I have 2 note 4, black and white for me and my wife...
my 4 older Samsung batteries and 2 charger kits and they don't hold a charge anymore, from about 10 - 15 percent left, they shut down...
I just bought anker batteries on ebay with a charger for about $31, they hold a charge to 1%.. about 2 weeks ago.
they are lasting much better than the samsungs. and buying Samsung batteries on ebay or amazon.. u might be getting these fake batteries that don't last..

The ones on Amazon are 99% fake knock offs which risk fire. Any story you have read online about a phone catching fire is usually either a result of a cheap knock off battery or adapter.
The only two places that have Note 4 batteries still are 100% legit.
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EB-BN910BBUSTA
and the Best Buy kit I posted earlier in the thread. Anywhere else is questionable.
If a big box store gets them like B & H they will be legit too.
Amazon's inventory has been proven to be compromised. Several have posted online about their batteries even "shipped and sold by amazon" had been clones.
In case you didnt know this happens often on Amazon. The SD Card market and perfume market on Amazon even from Amazon is also like this.
I'm using the Zerolemon 10000mah battery, also if there is a Batteries+ they stock standard replacement batteries for most phones.
Im very happy with Anker bought on Amazon.

I would recommend the one from Anker, same capacity as OEM from a reputable brand that makes batteries. It also comes with 18 month warranty and a bit cheaper than OEM one. If you still want the OEM one make sure it is shipped and sold by Amazon.com and you should be fine.

1 battery can last me one day, sometimes down to 30 percent, depends on what I am doing, other times, down to 20 and under.. but it makes the day, then I swap and use the other, but only when it drains to 1 2 or 3...
they are better than all these knock off, I think I paid $31.. but they are better than all my old ones put together, wait till my wife come back from vacation, she will definitely take 1, then I will have 4 old batteries. then I have to test the old batteries and anything that shuts down from 20 or 15 percent is getting retired, junked out..
maybe I will have to buy another set to be happy..

I just Re-read your post, you did say that. Well I got (hopefully) the same thing, I think I paid $32 to be exact. Fingers crossed.
I'm waiting on these in the mail. I wonder if they will be good? Ebay item 201375415018 How would I tell if they are fakes?
I'm waiting for my anker package with 2 batteries and an external charger myself.
I read in another thread, they blame the quick charge 2.0 puck for damaging the batteries. Saying the increase voltage pushed to the battery for fast charging is what kills the life of the battery.
So my question is, those who have replaced Samsung with aftermarket batteries, are you still charging at night with the Samsung qc2.0? Or just using a 1amp or 2amp charger?
Help appreciated.
Mostly use the old 2A charger to prolong battery longevity. Need a quick boost? Adaptive fast charger or turbo charger from moto.
I unlocked your mum's bootloader.
Well I disabled fast charge option on the phone so it should be charging at a "normal" rate now and not the high voltage charging.
So far these anker batteries seem excellent, at least compared to my very degraded original samsung batteries. A deal for 2 Batts and a external charger Imho.
The more I use regular charging, my battery appears to improve and return to normal. All this only supports my reservation towards devices with sealed batteries.

Battery replacment with higher capacity

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with using third party batteries for the N950. Specifically batteries with extended capacity. I have seen a handful of these batteries which say they have a 3600mah capacity over the stock battery capacity of 3300mah. They also say that they are Li-Po over the stock Li-Ion.
I cant post the link due to XDA rules but there are batteries available on Amazon under the title :
Galaxy Note 8 Battery ZURUN 3600mAh Li-Polymer Battery
The battery appears to have good ratings and would be a fitting upgrade for a decayed battery. I'm just asking if anybody with experience would recommend these batteries, are they real(in terms of spec), would the higher capacity effect the device negatively? And most importantly are they safe?
Any help would be appreciated!

Although I have no experience with batteries for the Note 8 as of yet, but from previous experience, I would recommend only official batteries. Even if these non official batteries are the correct mah, they will not have the same amount of cycles, so you will probably go through 2 or 3 of these batteries for the life of the official one.

I have had my Note 8 since the day it came out and I'm still using the same battery and I still get well over 8 hours of usage before I need to recharge it. I only charge it to 90% and I never let it discharge fully it's usually back on the charger whenever it gets near 20%. A friend of mine decided to put a 4,000 mah battery in his Note 8 only to find out that it wouldn't charge to 4,000 and it was dying much much faster than the original battery and it took even longer for it to charge back up so I wouldn't recommend getting aftermarket parts for it.

Huh, as for my device, I got it recently pre owned however the previous owner didn't take anywhere near as much care of my device as it seems your taking care of yours. So the battery capacity is pretty decayed and I've found it hard to get a healthy OEM battery online.
With my current new but unhealthy battery I wouldn't be able to protect it as I would like to by using the charging ranges you do. Tho I do really want to!
So I was thinking a new third party battery could be better than a 'new' oem. But again just another gamble it seems haha.
Thanks a lot for your advice!

Ifixit, who are reputable imo, have a link for the official battery . I would advise skipping Amazon/Ebay for it. Although it is €25, it is worth it. (They also sell all the tools you will need for replacing it and all the steps!
