Hi, Rooted and installed xposed and the samsung reboot fix on S4 as it kept rebooting during or after a call. The samsung fix stops it doing a soft reboot now but now it will not charge or recognise USB on my laptop. Tried disabling the Samsung fix, rebooted and will still not charge. Its currently set to MFP + ADB.
Are there any additional settings I need in xposed or any additional modules to install so the USB charge will work?
Thanks

Problem started when my device ran out of battery. Now, plugging it using the original charger gets the device to a cycle of showing the battery icon (gray with electricity symbol) for two seconds and then disappearing; no loading battery animation nor percentages.
Plugging it to my laptop seems to charge it slowly, about 1% per 5-10 minutes. With this slow charging I was able to load enough juice to try to boot the device. This however only led me to a bootloop (up to the "Samsung Galaxy Tab S2" screen) until it dies again.
Worried and desperate I browsed through articles. Without reading as much as I did for when I was flashing my Xperias (this is my first Samsung that I tried to flash/mess with), I went on and did these procedures:
1. Downloaded Odin
2. Downloaded and flashed cf auto root (http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/root-cf-autoroot-tab-s2-sm-t3187202)
3. Downloaded and flashed twrp (http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/root-cf-autoroot-tab-s2-sm-t3187202)
These now added the following to my problems: a tripped knox counter, and a "recovery not seandroid enforcing" error at boot screen. Device still doing bootloops and is not charging using the original charger.
I went on and thought that maybe reinstalling the stock rom would solve everything. However this failed.
Would appreciate your assistance on this.
I think it's pretty obvious your charger is at fault here if it charges via USB.
Use a different charger.

I tried other/new chargers yet now it does not even tell me if it's charging or not. However it's plugged, it gets into a bootloop.
Flashing stock rom did not solve the issue. cant get into recovery either. I can only go to download mode.
Been stuck on this for 4 days now.
Please tell me if there are other methods I can try.
You have the same issue as someone else. They ended up sending to Samsung for repair.
If flashing stock firmware and factory reset can't fix it then it could be a hardware failure.

I actually got the tab going.
It seems that I was doing fine all along except that the tablet has almost no battery and all rebooting after flashing does not complete.
What I did was I charged the device while it's on download mode for more than two hours then reflashed stock rom. When it rebooted, it booted into two consecutive samsung screens (like normal) then the teal screen with android icon labelled "erasing". Then it proceeded to booting as if it was factory-reset.
However, the wifi is not working now. It is in eternal "turning on" mode.
If my current stock rom is T710ZSU2AOJ2_T710OZS2AOJ2_HOME.tar.md5, is there any other rom I can try?
Thank you
Hello, friends.
I accidentally dropped my phone, causing the screen completely going black (not even the backlight is turning ong), and i think not even the touchscreen is working. When I connect it via usb, the phone shows in my computer, but nothing is in there because I'm supposed to unlock it and confirm the usb access. Unfortunately, adb access is off so I've not found any software helping me.
Do you know if there is a way for me to recover the data? Maybe a custom recovery rom that automatically mounts the storage via usb on boot?
Thanks for the help!
hi,
i have somme issue with magisk and wifi, after i rooted my A50 with magisk (the dedicated one) i noticed that i have to always forget the network and re enter the wifi code after each reboot to get conected ... but if i reboot the device without root it work normally

tnxs in advance
You have to install Libsecure_Storage magisk module
Thanks. This just started to happen to me. I thought it was from my house power being flakey. I'm off grid, solar, wind, and old generator.
I have to fix files on my PC from surges and figured it was the same on my Nexus 6.
I used a couple cleaners and reloaded Los16 once.
But that only seemed to work for a few hours.
I'm also stuck using my wife's iPhone hotspot and tinkering with different network settings for compatibly.. I'll keep you informed
Hi, I need some help
I have a 32G touchpad and I let it totally discharge.
Now the unit does not boot past the big USB sign.
I do not mind losing the info on it, there wasn't anything really important.
I am using the Novacom Repair Android Tool.
I did the C/Boot and the Wipe All and it always came back to the USB sign.
Finally, I decided to try "Toolbox" (the one on the left) and finally I could get past the USB sign into Touchpad Toolbox.
I tried installing Android again, loaded the ROM, Gapp and Recovery
and when it had to reboot to finish installing android it went into the USB sign again.
Right now I executed again ToolBox.
Battery reads at 12% now
I want to think that the installation failed due to to the low battery, although it has been the whole time sitting on the wireless stand (Battery should have been around 3 to 4% when I tried the intall).
My plan right now is to let it charge to 100%, it seems to be rapid charging now that it is on the Touchpad Toolbox menu, instead of trickle charging.
If I try again to install, with a full charge, and It goes back to the USB sign, what can I do? Could it be a stuck volume up button and I would have to dissasemble (I'd rather not). What else could I try to recover the Touchpad?
Thanks
HI.
Still stuck.
Touchpad Toolbox reports 100% charge on the Touchpad.
1. Verified Android install files are on ttinstall subdirectory. Executed Install. Upon reboot, I was sent to the USB sign.
2. Applied ToolBox and regained the Toolbox on the Touchpad
3. Reflashed A6 Firmware. Upon reboot, I was sent back to USB sign
Do not know what else to try!
Still stuck
ran the Complete Data Reset of the Toolbox menu and ran WebosDoctor
WebosDoctor ran well without problem but upon boot it went back to the USB sign.
What can I do?
still stuck
Downloaded Flintsmant recovery
unzipped it
ran the novacom driver (linux system)
connected the touchpad to the usb port
issued "novacom boot mem://<uImage.Recovery"
The touchpad booted in recovery mode, installed the android and gapp that were in ttinstall and when it rebooted it went into the USB sign.
Could be a worn/stuck volume up button? I t seems to work normally when running tptoolbox.
Am I going to have to open up (gasp!) the touchpad?
Really need advice here
Hi XDA, I hope someone can help me.
I am struggeling with a strange problem. But first let me tell you about my phone.
I have a S10 G973F with unlocked bootloader, TWRP 3.3.1, Magisk and HadesRom 2.0 installed and everything is working so far.
Except one thing: when I power down the phone and put it on the charger it starts to boot without the charging animation which has been there when I was on stock.
I am not sure if it has been there right after I installed HadesROM but it's pretty annoying. When my phone is completely empty it starts over and over again because boot drains too much battery while starting. (fyi I disabled fastcharge - with fastcharge enabled everything is okay but that's not the point nor a solution for me)
I believe it has something to do with modifications to the Hadeskernel ( because it always starts rooted - even when I start my phone without volume+ and power. )*Solved
Of course I already asked in the HadesROM-Thread and got no answer since 2 weeks or so.
Many people try to get their phone to boot when plugged in but what I want is exactly the opposite
What I've tried so far:
- Reinstalling ROM without wiping
- Reinstalled ROM with wiping
- Installed the old HadesROM version 1.0 with wiping.
- Formatted everything including internal storage
- Reflashing TWRP
- I tried to edit some kind of lpm file located at /system/bin but stopped doing this without some help
- Tried using the fastboot command "fastboot oem off-mode-charge 1" but obviously this wont work because samsung doesn't have fastboot implemented...
What I didn't tried:
- Installing another ROM
- Flashing stock ROM
- Flashing different kernel (I am on it this evening)
Maybe someone has experienced the same thing on Hades and is able to help me.
Thank you in advance
Update:
Okay I figured sth. out. When I boot my phone unrooted and shut it down then the charging animation works. But as soon as I start the phone rooted it keeps turning on when the charger is plugged.
I'm still hoping that someone can tell me more about this :/
