have to enter the wifi pass each reboot after magisk installed - Magisk

hi,
i have somme issue with magisk and wifi, after i rooted my A50 with magisk (the dedicated one) i noticed that i have to always forget the network and re enter the wifi code after each reboot to get conected ... but if i reboot the device without root it work normally
i dont know if it help but the phone allways rebbot 3 time to start with root
tnxs in advance

You have to install Libsecure_Storage magisk module

Thanks. This just started to happen to me. I thought it was from my house power being flakey. I'm off grid, solar, wind, and old generator.
I have to fix files on my PC from surges and figured it was the same on my Nexus 6.
I used a couple cleaners and reloaded Los16 once.
But that only seemed to work for a few hours.
I'm also stuck using my wife's iPhone hotspot and tinkering with different network settings for compatibly.. I'll keep you informed

ICS Wifi Issue

I have searched for the past thirty minutes and have not found a solution so i decided to post in the place where every person seems to know the answer to every question. Anyways, my tp succesfully got set up in ICS and WIFI turned on at first for me to do my original setup, but after rebooting to flash the charger fix and new kernel, my wifi will not connect. I tried a fresh install to make sure the kernel was not the issue, to no avail. When i try and slide the wifi on/off switch to on it just slides back and clicking on the button does nothing. I also tried to add the power widget to the main screen and hit the Wifi button from there, but that was also borked. Any help would be appreciated.
Try setting your router to a specific channel I put mine on 9 and it works now. I was having wifi issues after reboot but after setting the Chanel on my router they went away
If I forget my network, then reboot, then reconnect it seems to work fine. I tried a few other "fixes" I have read about and nothing else seems to work for me at this point...
The problem is not my network, its the fact that i cannot hit the "on" button for wifi

The OP did make the problem clear!
Looks like a reinstall may be needed.
try fixing permissions from CWM.
If that doesn't work, I suggest to have a look at the logcat entries while trying to switch on and off the Wifi, you may see the reason for the error there.
What version of CM9 is intalled? did you install any special kernel? What channel is your wifi on? (I changed mine from 11 to 1 and it's stayed connected for days now!)
Try a full cache and dalvik cache wipe in ClockworkMod. If that fails, then do a full wipe, re-install and try again from scratch.
This happened to me when I updated to Alpha 0.5. I had to go back and reflash the bricked kernel which i previously installed. I think he made a change to the wifi settings and if I remember correctly he told you how to go back to stock cm9 if you wanted to. But if you installed bricked before that's your problem, reflash it in CWM
bricked kernel uses a different WIFI module, so you need to have both in sync (kernel and driver).
If it worked on first boot, I presume he didn't change the kernel, so something else must be causing his WIFI to fail (fail to start, not fail to connect)
As we mention before, I will go for permissions, cache and get a logcat for the error
Permissions did not work so I wiped and started fresh for the third time....well I guess third time is a charm because I am posting from the TP right now thanks guys.

Root not properly working, please help!

I have the dual sim Exynos version, model number SM-N950F/DS.
I followed this guide 100% as said:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygcDFTPT248
Root is not properly working. Unsure why. I rooted using Magisk. When checking the app, it has ticked both latest and installed version V16.4. When checking safety net option, both are ticked.
Adaway even after rebooting says ''rooted Android required'' . Root explorer not working also. The only thing I got working and only after rebooting it worked was Titanium backup. After rebooting I was prompted to give root access which obviously I did and it works fine.
However, other apps requiring root access do not prompt me to grant it root access and immediately says ''no root'' .
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Ps. I keep getting this annoying notificaiton on the taskbar saying ''Security notice. Unauthorised actions have been detected. Restart.'' . How do I get rid of this notification? I restarted twice yet it keeps popping up.
And now for no apparent reason I am stuck on the Samsung logo, phone is not booting up. The top left blue LED is flashing but the phone is not booting. Please help.
^ I managed to fix my device, like always I was running an older version of TWRP!! Happens every time with every phone regardless!
From one of the threads, I downloaded the very latest recovery and flashed it via ODIN. Voila! Installed one of the Note 8 roms and perfect. Everything working fine.
Why is it if using a slightly older recovery nothing works? I am unable to even format/wipe, install roms, nothing...

SM-N960F\DS firmware flash via Odin as Update (As in kepping all apps\data like OS Update possible via OTA or Smart Switch)

Hi ereyone. So I have this problem:I have Exynos model and had it magisk rooted by patching AP firmware file via Magisk Manager(with keep force encryption check box checked) and then flashing it with the rest of the files in Odin + modules like Riru,LSPosed,Smali patch,Android Core Patch&Magisk app hidden. Long story short-I used this setup for more than 2 years ang gathered decent amaount of life in it(Photos,Videos,Apps and ect.)One day while traveling from point A to point B I noticed I mighgt not make it back home until phone dies so I enabled extreme power saving on it and thought I did managed to get back home without it dying price I had to pay for it was not worth it. For the first time in I my whole life expierence using Note after switching phone from yet another extreme power saving to High efficiency(Note: not first time I did this switch between these two modes, happens rarely but definetily wasn't the 1st time with this setup) the previous hiden Magisk app first gave me update notification that I pressed(thought nothing hapened) and then it started crashing whenever you wanted to open it or it had to show toast for app wether the app was or was not granted su permission, it still was giving root permission to apps and Magisk hide seemed to be working but opening Magisk manager was out of the question.while Magisk hide worked for first few restarts due to riru module, even once in between to restarts I had LSPosed to open up too ,but only that once, at some point Magisk hide stoped working and I needed to add new app anyway so Update was inevitable like Thanos. So I downloaded firmware files that matched the currectly installed one, patched AP with newly downloaded and installed Magisk manager that for some reason never sees already installed Su permission, loaded it with the rest files in Odin and was sure to choose CSC not HOME_CSC which tells odin to do wipe before flashing and thought Odin didn't say anything about wiping before flashing after flashing Odin gave PASS and phone reboot first it showed me android mascot with spinning circkle animation and bar below it from 0 to 100% and after that it restarted again and booted for about Half an hour after to my demise I was greeted with Setup screen and obvious data vipe during mascot boot part, I panicangly double cheked Odin screen and it did say I choose CSC not HOME variant. So My question is: Do I not know how perform update type flash like Smart Switch do or are there some ohter steps I'm missing like a complete idiot, Please someone if you know how explain because this makes me weak and I think I'm at my fcking limit.
P.S My only hope seems to make a nand backup but how do I restore it and will it not break my Stock+Magisk installation?

okay so everything was fine till i write this reply, there no random reboot anymore. in case if random reboot happend again, i will try your advice. anyway thanks
This was happening to me any time the Xbox app tried to send a notification. Phone would just reboot.
Still happens even with latest version. Have disabled notifications for that app and it's fine now. Those notifications weren't important anyway.
Strange one but could be similar for you if you are getting a vibrate before reboot like a notification trying to come through?

General bootloop problem with evolution x

I recently installed evolution x on redmi note 11 and noticed that fastcharge didn't work so I installed magisk and im currently using an fast charge module, but whenever I reboot the phone the screen turn on and turn off and then it goes to twrp. it trows the error rescue party.
I already tried to wipe cache, but I dont really want to format all data because teh internet here is not that good and installing all that again is so time consuming. I need a solution please.
EDIT
I wiped the cache dalvik via twrp
I turned the phone off and let it rest 5 mins
Turned the phone on and worked normaly
The phone is working normaly in this moment but im afraid that it would happend again, I need a better soluion than letting the phone rest.
EDIT
I think that it was a version bug, beacuse had version 7.1, so I installed 7.2 and all works perfectly, even with root and fast charge module
Decrypt data in TWRP/OF and remove the broken magisk module directory:
/data/adb/modules/(FAST CHARGE MODULE NAME)/
After that, reboot the phone and you should be fine
