So I recently bought this phone. And tried to flash another rom because the stock one was ****, and with many carrier useless apps.
So the symptoms are similar found on various threads, but I don't know if the problem has a solution.
With a charged battery it doesn't turn on, nor led, nothing.
When charging, the led blinks orange.
Does it have a solution?

It's a s**ty problem and Mine device was bricked.

Hello,
After a few months without using my Touch Diamond (unlocked, as far as I remember the only "tweak" I did was a new radio rom), I've tried a few days ago to use it again.
Problem: I can't switch on.
Anything I try, (soft reset, hard reset) does nothing.
I plug it to charge the battery, nothing happen.
It worked well before. Is it bricked, or do you know another trick to swith on this phone ?

Hi, welcome, sometimes when the battery is dead, you will not be able to switch the phone on, even when connected to the charger. Charge it for half an hour and try again. If it still does not switch on, then maybe you should contact a repair service.

I've already tried to charge it one full night (even if the phone's button was not highlighting), and it changed nothing.
So my battery would be dead... At less, I know what's the problem, now.

it simply doesn't do anything? or are lights blinking (phone|power button), do you get vibra feedback,...?
does it still show usual light pattern for recharging when connecting to wall socket?
probably tried to start after batty was out of housing?
any additional details?
this is what's hapened:
I was browsing the web using an edge connection, when the battery was going low. I plugged the charger and resumed browsing. After a few minutes, I switched the phone off (without disconnecting edge), to have a sleep.
When I woke up, I tried to use my phone and it didn't switch on until now.
there's absolutely nothing.
I tried to charge it but after hours nothing. no led, no vibration, no sound
I used a universal charger but when I put the battery into the phone there's no response.
...
I had the same problem a while ago... In my case i believe (not sure) it was a problem with one of the installed apps because after a hard reset it didn't happen anymore. Did you try to do a hard reset? Or try to enter the three color bootscreen? In my case my phone eventually turned on again without any reason... It happend a few times more after that, but now that I use a cutsom ROM it never happens anymore. I heard other people talk about this aswell so maybe it is just a XperiaX1 bug.... Good luck!
hi everybody, i'm really proud can have the htc one m7, but for now i'm at confusing state because this weird thing, please help me, hehe
at first, when i arrived at home after going to school, my htc still have 2-5% battery, and i put it to chare with wall charge, and it blinking orange and green, i think it's because of some notification up when i put it to charge, but after 1-2 minutes, i want to unlock my htc to see some messages, and i dont know why it wont turn on, and when i press the power button to turn it on, it just appears some blinking green led, but when i do nothing to the phone when it's on the charge, the orange charging led not appearing, but it warming up, please help me.. T_T

after reading your other post about hard bricking it and getting a replacement...what kernel/ROM are you running on the phone?

i use viper rom 4.3.0 with kitkat version, and use teamseven sense 5.5 kitkat stable kernel ._.
Hi everyone, i wonder if anyone can help with my issue.
I recently got a brand new m7 phone - yes it is very old model, but was sealed and boxed.
The issue is the following, it came with android kitkat 4.4.3 in the box, i used it and it was fine. It was fully charged..... around 70% battery. I was then setting it up checking out all features, then suddenly it makes a sound red light and shuts down..... hmm odd. When i try and turn it back on with the power button.... it is not working ... i then put in charger and am shocked to find it is 1%!!
What happened??
After i upgraded android to lollipop.... 5.1 on htc m7..... i took a while.... i updated all my apps.
Again it was charged this time to 100%.......... then i started using it heavily videos etc.... at around 50% the same issue! it does the same thing and shuts down with no error message? just goes black and has a sound and red led???? again i put in usb charger mains..... it is again 0% charger...???
So then everyone.... this power or battery issue has happened twice on two different android versions?
What can i do to fix this?
I am not sure what to do as it is a brand new phone? Or could it be a refurbished phone with a issue?
Hope you guys can use your knowledge to guide me.... i would really be grateful

Hi everyone, I am new here. I tried to root a HTC Desire 500 dual SIM that belongs to a friend. I followed the guide posted on XDA on this link:

Did everything as stated. Phone was working fine even after that though it was not rooted and I could not find the SuperSU app. One time, I switched off the phone and then it would not turn on again. When I put it to charge, I see a blinking orange LED. No display. According to a post on this site, I manually tried to charge the battery using an external charger. Battery has enough voltage to power up the phone now. But it is not powering on. Will not enter into fastboot mode also.
What I have observed:
1. If I put the phone to charge without the battery, it behaves in exactly the same way.
2. I put it to charge with an already charged battery overnight. In the morning I removed the charger and took out the battery. The battery was completely drained.
Any help would be appreciated.

i also have have the same problem, it wont turn on. when connected to charger with or without battery it blinks amber light. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
