Hello,
I have one question. I have bought a ATT Moto X and flashed it with these instructions to a Herman Moto X.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/update-xt1058-to-android-4-4-2-uk-t2628381
Now i am in 4.4.2 and i want 4.4.4. But i cant take the German OTA because i think the phone will brick.
How i geht to 4.4.4. German?
My idea is : flash back to ATT 4.4.2, take OTA 4.4.4 and the flash back to German with 4.4.4. Stock
Is this the right way???
Thanks a lot
Sven

Just flash this german 4.4.4. There won't be a problem with a brick.

How should i flash this???
You only need to remove them if your model uses different frequencies in your country.

If you plan to remove those lines, use fastboot and mfastboot. If you plan to flash the modem use rsd lite.

As I said it depends on your model. If you have the same frequencies it is not necessary. If the frequencies are different then it is necessary.

That's a good question, have been wondering about that myself. Also strange that the baseband version number is lower than the previous one.
So this will not flash onto a xt907 with a locked boot loader through RSD correct? As stated the I see it says about system and modem, but are these instructions regarding 'fastboot' flashing or both RSD and 'fastboot'
Does anyone know where to download RSD Lite? I did a google search for the program and the results popped up many different versions and no real official site for download.
Do you still have to RSD Lite back to last stock before pushing these with RSD Lite?

locked bootloader devices are able to flash only partitions that are signed by moto; all partitions besides system and modem are signed by moto.
i just mentioned that in the op because locked bootloader device users may need files other than system or modem if the update attempt fails.

so you have a locked bootloader device and decided to try this anyway, even though the title specifies "unlocked bootloader"?

Maybe edit title thread too with model.

Why flash different carriers firmware. Soon you'll have it for yours....and no issues. 4.4.3 is a minor update...nothing terribly exciting. Certainly not much more than 4.4.2 is.
But....to each their own.

Help for XT 1058 4.4.3 system update
Hi, I need some help here. I just received 4.4.3 OTA for Brasil Retail XT1058, I just choosed Accept and it downloaded and tried to install but it just reboot to Recovery (teamwin) and nothing happened. I rebooted and system was still 4.4.2, and is looping shooting down I guess trying to install the update. I remembered that I should have stock recovery or something, but I can't remember what else should I do to get the update. Maybe if somebody helps me, I could try to get the system dump for the XT1058.
Thank you!!

You need to disable Xposed if you have installed it. If you have made any changes to SYSTEM, or removed any "bloat" apps, you will need to un-do these changes. You are correct that you need STOCK recovery. You can download the SBF here: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=0 (get the correct one for your model, version 4.4.2)
Now extract the file. You only need one file: recovery.img
Use mfastboot to flash the stock recovery:
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Then you should be able to flash the OTA without failure.
Good Luck
Hi.
I ****ed up. I tried to restore my Moto X to factory defaults following the instructions found here(http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/restore-to-stock-t2873657) and everything went wrong. My phone was soft bricked. I managed to save it using the windroid tool (flashed recovery, in recovery flashed CM12) but when I booted I couldn't enable wifi and my sim card wasn't being detected.
I don't know what to do. I'm in over my head. I need help. I tried reflashing the rom, but that didn't work. I might suck at searching but I couldn't find anything that worked in the forum. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

Why are you following a guide for the moto G? What phone model do you have? If you're flashing moto G images that certainly won't work. If you have the PE then flash the images off the moto web page. The 5.0 images are posted so you shouldn't have issues with downgrading. If you have another model there are guides and images in this, the moto x, forum for that.

You can convert your phone to a PE if you want. If not just use his instructions and flash your version you found on the previous link. Then you can flash back to CM.

I'm using CM13 but can't get the speakerphone to work.
Is it possible to get the speakerphone to work?
Am I the only one that has this issue? Maybe no one uses the speakerphone and just hasn't noticed?
I tried a proposed solution of changing something in build props from digital to analog but that didn't work.

I assume you mean speakerphone for calling. For it to work your gpt and modem partitions needs to be on the one for lollipop unless you have a phone like me and had no official lollipop OTA released. However there is a solution. But hey I could be wrong. Post back and let me know.

Did you ever take the stock 5.1 update? If not, flashing the gpt and modem should do the trick.
Sent from my Moto X using Tapatalk
It was up to date but I don't think it was at 5.1.
Where would I get those files to flash?
I come from stock 4.4.2(latest for my variant) then I found out I could flash the Verizon gpt.bin and non-hlos.bin and speakerphone worked again. However I suggest you try one of the xt1053 modem and gpt. Possibly xt1058.
