Hi guys, so to the point.
I rooted my k3 note with iroot.
Next I flashed my twrp to TWRP 2.8.6, did backup through TWRP, wiped data and while i was trying to install VibeUI 3.1 (all 3.1 official versions)I've got an error saying "executing updater binary in zip" and path to file.
When I tried to restore old one, it gave me extractTarFork() process ended with error=255) on 4%.
Any idea what should I do?

@edit for some reason Limonchello didnt gave me an error, could it be not-latest TWRP that gave me problem with vibeui 3.1?

official rom cant be install via twrp
download any custom rom and flash it

Are you sure? For example VibeUI 1614 ST can be installed in twrp. It also have the scatter file inside the zip so it can be flashed via SP Flash Tools also.
Marshmallow beta update already out for selected users. but root access still not available. supersu /superuser not working. but TWRP latest worked
any idea how to root marshmallow version..

Did the zip flashed successfully or it gave you a flashing error in TWRP. Remember, that in order for the zip to work, you must be on clean stock ROM which hasn't been attempted to root before.

flashed the zip in fresh stock ROM(restored via TWRP)
no error message was displayed.
anyone else please try it and report for model che1-l04

did the flashing of 1.zip again on clean stock rom

Flash stock boot.img and then flash the zip. The boot image currently on your device is already patched hence you're facing this error.

If you have twrp then flash the full ota zip over again. This install the boot image again.
If you have a backup you can restore only the boot partition to fix it.
I recently installed twrp eva 3.0.2 on my P9 L19C636 but it wont boot into twrp. It gets stuck on your device is booting now.

For stock rom try the newest superuser or if it doesn't work the pre-rooted boot image from this forum. (flashed via fastboot)
For me I had no success with the superuser install for some reason but the boot image worked.
hello, i have an old twrp.... and i would update it to use a nougat rom.
I sincerely did not remember how i flashed it, is there any method to flash a newer twrp, using my actual twrp?
