Somebody give me some hope please. I was minding my own bidness when I (like a dumbass?) ran my battery down too low. At 5%, it shutdown and I plugged it in to charge. I'd done this several times before without any problem. The reported battery percentages had been way off recently and I was hoping to "retrain" android to report it more accurately.
Now it won't boot/post. I can get it into download mode, emergency dload mode (ARM9 mode), or ramdump mode. Any other mode (recovery for example only results in it just blinking the backlight on and off about once every second. The battery charges fine.
It is a Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830). I am able to flash it with odin. I used the following firmware package. S5830BGKT4_S5830XECKT4_S5830XWKT8_HOME
Is there another procedure I should try?
serial: R21C14GH79V
ssn: S5830GSMH

After the shutdown, the device goes black and try to reboot again, nothing comes up.Then i thought the battery was fully drained out, then i decide to charge up till morning.
Day 3

Can anyone please help me?Help my Old Tab.
Sounds like you have bricked your device. And I mean a real brick, not a "soft brick" as some people like to call it.
You should never try and flash your device if you have low battery as power could fail and corrupt your bootloader.
If you cant get into recovery or download mode your screwed and need to send it away for JTAG fix or board replacement.

Try this:
start odin, and press power + volume down for at least 5 seconds, plug to your computer
Odin should recognize your tab. Flash again. Btw jq8, sithout the correct kernel is not for p1000n/m/l.
What u did on day 3 was ALMOST right. But you didn't press the volume down. Hence you didn't go to download mode.
P.s. if you post this in the Q&Asection, we could hv helped you earlier.
Hi All,
Day before yesterday my Samsung GT-N7000 got suddenly formatted while charging. I don't know how it had happened.
Then from that day it was showing the error message. "Gapps process is not working properly". I have spoken with Samsung online support and as per his instructions had a factory reset. But while doing that it has not reset properly & only the Samsung logo is appearing then again screen get black & again the logo appears.
I have then tried to use Volume -, Home & power button to go into the recovery mode but everytime I do that it is going into odin mode.
when I press volume+, home, power button, android logo keeps on appearing then again Samsung logo comes & then black screen.
I want to fix this problem.. please please .... help...

Get a charged battery and the boot to download mode.
Take a Fully charged battery from ny other user.. Put it in ur phone.. If possible use jig to go to download mode then flash stock firmware
Hello,
My friend just brought me a I9305 lte version and it has a bootloop. I was looking for any help via many forums but most of the problems are caused by software modification problems. This phone was never modified, it had stock rom and was never rooted. Phone hanged while writing and sms and it turned of and started to bootloop.
1. Battery was removed for few hours
2. Phone was bootlooping till battery completely charged off.
3. I can't access recovery mode
4. I can access download mode for few seconds and after that phone restarts again(can't press volume up to acknowledge entering download mode only first screen appears for 2-3 seconds)
5. I can enter download mode by only holding menu + volume down.
Phone was in servce and they told that this is due to CPU issue and wanted to charge them for around 180$
6. I do not know what system version it had before.
Any ideas how to unbrick it?
If you are not able to stay in Download mode, then I would also suggest a hardware issue. Especially if no tampering has been done to the phone.
Does the phone get very hot ? such as rebooting due to overheating ?
My S3 mini GT-I8190, Android 4.1.2 might be broken. It felt into water. After three days of drying it I could restart it again. Here is the problem : When I shutdown the cell phone and try to switch it on it always runs into the android recovery mode. When I select reboot then it boots again into the android recovery mode. When I take off the battery and put the battery back and plug in via USB the power supply or do re chargung via PC then when I swith on the cell phone it starts normally. I re charged completly the battery. But no change in the behaviour. I tried to reset to factory mode via the android recovery mode. But the same behaviour. Any ideas ?
I tried flashing the latest firmware with Oden and it failed, when I disconnected the phone and tried to put it back into download mode it comes up with 2 lines of small text in top left of screen then screen goes blank for a few seconeds then comes up with a list of stuff in blue red and green text with a little android in the middle of the screen with Kernal Panic
Upload Mode to the right of the andriod.
I can not turn the note 9 off, or figure out how to get back into recovery mode or download mode now. and the battery was nearly full when this happened , when the screen goes blank again after a few minutes the led flashes, if I press any of the volume keys or the power button the screen comes back on for a few minutes and while the screen is displaying the message the LED doesnt blink, then two minutes or so the screen times out and LED blinks again.
if I hold the btton down to try and go into recovery mode it reboots after about 10 seconds, shows the normal Samsung boot screen then displays the 2 lines of text at the same time which are in pink, then goes to the error screen I mention above
PLEASE HELP
Is going to take forever for this battery to drain and the unit shut off so I can try to boot into recovery or download mode...
HUGE thanks in advance
Hi! I got this problem too!
I was following guideline in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/how-to/guide-change-note-9-csc-easy-guide-t3879473
I was following the procedure, but in very last step while flashing new firmware something happened to ODIN, it failed to flash it. I tried to restart the phone, but it entered KERNEL PANIC UPLOAD MODE. I was trying to get of this, but I was only able to enter recovery mode which didn't work properly either. It was indefinitely looping between installing update screen and other screen with error messages.
If I try to Volume down power for some time, I get POWER RESET OR UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE.
So, no way out to get into download mode again.
Hi ckhaustralia, did you end up getting some help or an answer about the kernel panic mode issue with uour Note 9 problem you listed above? I have the same exact issue, except the reason why the firmware flash failed in my scenario was due to the charging port which I believe had a faulty sensor because I got a message half way through the flash indicating there "moisture" in the port. Now no matter what I have tried, I cannot boot into download mode to try and fix it. I think the only possible way would be to use something like a ZX3 box but it would be great to hear from someone knowledgeable within XDA?
