No you will brick your device

Why cant i convert it like converting m250s to i9100 ???? :'(
Sent from my SHV-E210S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Because the SHV-E210S is a dual simcard phone, and the i9305 isn't.
The SHW-M250s is basically a i9000 with a tv tunner added. Converting it will make the tunner stop working, but nothing more.
TL;DR SHW-M250s is very similar to i9000, SHV-E210S is NOT very similar to i9305.

IIRC the E210s is not dual-SIM. However, it has a Samsung modem, while the I9305 has Qualcomm. So, you will need to use E210 kernels and Samsung modem/RIL files.

Can it be used in the u.s?

I'm in the process of getting a Samsung Galxaxy s i9000 from Europe (a trade) and I would like to know if I could use it on T-Mobile or AT&t in the United States. Would I have to unlock it or is it already unlocked?? Would love to know as soon as possible... thanks...

You should be able to use it on att. Not sure though if even with the proper modem that you can enable 850hz band. Still has 1900 though so you should be good. As far as unlocked goes, depends if it's a carrier model or not.

I currently have T-Mobile so I was wondering if I could use it with T-Mobile. The internet speeds don't really matter much, I just want it to make and receive calls and texts.

You said internet speed doesn't matter much . Edge only I believe.

i9000 supports 3G bands 900/1900/2100
AT&T uses 850 and 1900. So you'll only get 3G on AT&T in 1900 MHz coverage areas.
TMobile uses AWS 3G bands (1700/2100 MHz). It requires BOTH to work on 3G at all, so it will only work on 2G/EDGE.
You could use a Galaxy S i9000T on the entire AT&T 3G coverage, as it supports 850/1900/2100 MHz.

Yes, and there are 2 types in Australia The GT-I9305 which is the one you can get in europe and is classified the International/Europe Version.. etc.....
And then..
You Have Telstra which brought out the GT-I9305T which is basically the same thing, I really dont think there is a difference, And IF there is a difference (a big IF) it maybe does not have the 2100mhz 3G frequency as telstra has shutdown that part of the 3G network in August.
But other then that it should be exactly the same as the I9305. Everything is compatible between the 2, Kernels, Firmware etccccc
Hope this helps.
Hmm - the service menu in my i9305T shows a choice of WCDMA 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and "IMT2000" - no 2100. Not sure whether that means much....

6602 has only UMTS 1700 Band and NO LTE at all . ( GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850 (B5), UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1700/2100 (B4), UMTS2100 (B1) GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+ )
6606 has UMTS and LTE 1700 bands : GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850 (B5), UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1700/2100 (B4), UMTS2100 (B1) + GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+ + LTE2100 (B1), LTE700 (B17), LTE850 (B5), LTE1700/2100 (B4)
I preordered mine 6603 from Clove.co.uk ( I am on EDGE band ) Clove gives you free Wireless speaker and they have Premium headset ( unlike
hantec.co.uk that don't know what model they will have . and they ship they model with plain headphones for non-contract subscribers )
Best to order from UK they sell it tax free and european models always get their updates first .
Look like c6606 will support all band plus lte ?

you could flash the rom, but it won't change the radio's the phone supports. so you won't get 3g on a c6603 on att or t mobile if you flash a c6602 firmware on it.

I don't believe that this phone is capable of LTE. I think it is only capable of HSPA+ (21 Mbps). I live in a refarmed area and my speeds have never changed.
Well it is capable of LTE on AT&Ts network but ironically not on T-Mobile's. The T-Mobile note has the exact same radio as the AT&T note does thus it does not have the added new T-Mobile frequencies for LTE. So unlocked T-Mobile notes can access AT&T LTE networks but not their own LTE network.

It's all about the frequencies, our phone is for the most part exactly the same phone as the AT&T Note. With exactly the same radio. Although it's capable of receiving T-Mobile 4g it's not able to use T-Mobile LTE as they use different frequencies. However to answer your question if your phone was nand unlocked, you have an AT&T sim card, and flashed an AT&T Note Modem then yes you can use AT&T's LTE with this phone.

Either you're in the wrong forum or its because you own a CDMA phone
The Sprint HTC One is both CDMA & GSM

As far as I've ever head the GSM is limited to the edge network, which leads back to my previous point.
