6602 has only UMTS 1700 Band and NO LTE at all . ( GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850 (B5), UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1700/2100 (B4), UMTS2100 (B1) GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+ )
6606 has UMTS and LTE 1700 bands : GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850 (B5), UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1700/2100 (B4), UMTS2100 (B1) + GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+ + LTE2100 (B1), LTE700 (B17), LTE850 (B5), LTE1700/2100 (B4)
I preordered mine 6603 from Clove.co.uk ( I am on EDGE band ) Clove gives you free Wireless speaker and they have Premium headset ( unlike
hantec.co.uk that don't know what model they will have . and they ship they model with plain headphones for non-contract subscribers )
Best to order from UK they sell it tax free and european models always get their updates first .

Look like c6606 will support all band plus lte ?

Hello guys,
can I flash my C6602 ROMs/Kernels, make a C6602 into a C6603 and the other way around?

you could flash the rom, but it won't change the radio's the phone supports. so you won't get 3g on a c6603 on att or t mobile if you flash a c6602 firmware on it.

[Q] Sony C6602 Working in Canada? C6602/3 Speedtests?

Has anyone been able to import a c6602 into Canada and have it working on Rogers or any other carriers 3g network?
Snapshots of speedtests would be awesome...
I would also love to see speedtests of the c6603 in Vancouver with Rogers
I have ordered the c6602 and should be here in Winnipeg by Thurs. I will update how it works on bell as I use it.
I received my c6602 today in winnipeg. I am operating on bell using 850 1900 bands and have speed tests over 8 mbps. I ordered my white c6602 from omegacell.com I think it would be nonsense ordering c6603 considering ppl in GTA have ordered it and do have the lte bands required and lte still doesn't work. Lol. I'm completely satisfied with 8 mbps. .

Forgot to take a screenshot but I have a c6603 and I get about 7 mbps in Vancouver on Rogers. I'm hopeful somehow we can get LTE on this thing. I'm sure missing it.

I'm from Belgium and I'm currently on vacation in nyc and I bought a tmobile sim that is 4G/lte but after I bought it the worst Nightmare for mobile data came true... The 2g symbol appeared above the signal bars and I can't even get 3g...
I have a C5303 that was bought in Belgium and lte is the preferred connection
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,

I bet that is because of the hardware.
LTE:
C5303: LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
C5306: 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
For 3G
C5306: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
C5303:HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100
Tmobile USA:
3G: 1700 / 2100
LTE: 1700 / 2100
Source: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988
So the C5303 doesnt support the needed 1700 band..
Sorry mate

No you will brick your device
Why cant i convert it like converting m250s to i9100 ???? :'(
Sent from my SHV-E210S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Because the SHV-E210S is a dual simcard phone, and the i9305 isn't.
The SHW-M250s is basically a i9000 with a tv tunner added. Converting it will make the tunner stop working, but nothing more.
TL;DR SHW-M250s is very similar to i9000, SHV-E210S is NOT very similar to i9305.
IIRC the E210s is not dual-SIM. However, it has a Samsung modem, while the I9305 has Qualcomm. So, you will need to use E210 kernels and Samsung modem/RIL files.

D5833 Model on TMo US LTE

I have been having problems getting LTE on my phone and I think I have found the cause. Apparently there are two models of this phone, the D5803 and D5833. I have read the the 33 model is for Asian markets and 03 is supposed to work for US and Euro markets. Is anyone using the D5833 and succesfully getting LTE to work on T mobile?
I currently have the D5833 and have had no luck getting 4gLTE to work on this phone. plz help
Won't work. Doesn't have the appropriate radio to consistently get LTE in the U.S.
