Any idea if the M9 camera uses OIS? AFAIK, the the stock camera is the only software that is currently capable of taking advantage of it.
is it possible to remove the camera once you flash it? or would I have to restore a backup of my rom. I'm assuming it'd need some sort of removal script.

Optical image stabilization doesn't need software to work. It's built into the hardware.

So, i just read that you can not install Stock MotoCamera into custom roms due to libs... LIE.
Here you have, install with TWRP. AF not working properly (is not working properly in any custom rom, so...) Manual Mode works perfect.
MotoCamera for CustomRoms.zip
Credits to @Vachounet and @DevendraMilmile121.
PD: This is not the same version that the one you can download from Play Store. This one is Nougat stock one that support display size changes.
Hi... It worked.. thnx alot for it . can u also share the moto actions app.. Cant install the either from store
Was able to flash it no problem. Focus did not work very well, unless it was super close. Google Camera provides better results.
Thanks for providing this!
Please work on AF

Hi,
I've been using this for a 3 days now and it is pretty awesome! Thank you so much! Photos are way better than any modded cameras out there.
The only thing I've been struggling to fix now is the slow motion. It says "can't connect to the camera". I've tried basic fixes out of YouTube and tried flashing some fixes I found on the internet -esp. here in XDA but I am still out of luck.
I am 99% complete now on this camera, just the slow motion isn't working. I am using Xiaomi Redmi 4x running Resurrection Remix 5.8.5-20170929-santoni-Final
I surely will wait for your help.
Thanks in advance!
BTW, I'm a new member.

Are you using magisk root? Uninstall the stock camera first via any system app remover. Secondly, Try flashing camera 2 api module. Then download the modded camera on this thread. Works for me (except slow motion and 60fps video -but fix will be coming soon as per dev.)

Lots of V30 owners run rooted stock firmware and use Magisk mods (like Anxious V30) and Xposed mods (which passes Safety Net with edXposed) to modify their phones how they want.
LG Stock camera for custom AOSP/Lineage custom ROMs is probably the most requested feature for ROM devs -- but will (probably) never happen. If it was going to happen it would have happened by now.
