You will have to flash a stock rom from the bootloader to restore it.

hi ya
thank you very much for taking the time to reply mate its much appreciated. to flash stock rom my device needs to be rooted? its not rooted at the moment.

You are stock, locked without a tampered tag in bootloader? If so, you can call HTC if the online chat option doesn't work. Your phone still within the warranty period? Unless you know what you are doing, I highly suggest against rooting the phone if HTC can fix the issue for you. It isn't normal for GP services to disappear like that. It is on a protected section of the phone (unless you are unlocked).

well its out of warranty. i will call htc the online chat is not working atm. i have no idea about software atm. thank you very much for your advice.

Amazon Android App Market won't let you sign in fix.

Ok, this worked for my on both my MyTouch 4G and My T-mobile Samsung Galaxy tablet. First off go to http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b?ie=UTF8&node=2350149011 with is the site where you download the app from. Click on your name and go to your account settings. Somewhere on there will have a list of devices that you've used to sign into that app store with. Even if it's the same device, it comes up again or if you change roms it comes up as something else, there is an option below each one to deactivate it. When you click deactivate device, it will disappear within about 15 seconds. Do so with each one. I had about 20. I deleted every single one of them. Then I sent the email to my phone and tablet to download the amazon app store again and I installed it on both devices, and they both work fine now. I know these directions were kinda vague, it's because when I went back to look where it was that you see all of your devices and I've already deleted it. So look around in account settings and on the page where you enter a phone number or E-Mail, it sends the link too download it. It worked great for me, If someone else can do this and explain it better than me, feel free, any other questions, I'll try and help the best I can, [email protected] .
So basically go to that site on the link that I provided at the beginning of the post. Find where all your devices are stored, it's on the right side, click the button that says deactivate device below it, and it about 15 seconds it will disappear. Now delete EVERY one of them. All of them. Then put in your phone number or Gmail address then re-download the app-store then you should be able to sign in fine, let me know how it works and if someone can explain this better than me please do,
again I hope this helps, It should work on all devices,
Knotrkr
I hope that helps you guys out,
Patrick.
This worked for me, and I just went into application settings, did a force stop, clear cache, and wipe data. Then re-started amazon app store, signed back in, and it is working fine again.
just open all your lines and it will work..

I can't thank you enough, I have been going out of my mind the past few days wondering what to do to sign into my amazon account
thanks again!
Thank You Patrick!!!!
OMG! This has been driving my crazy! I even sent an email to amazon- they couldn't help. A simple general google search brought up your thread Patrick and it was a great fix My work around was just reinstalling the old data from titanium backup. But on my new galaxy nexus I didn't have any backups for it. Your fix Worked like a charm! I am a happy camper thanks to you Patrick. :victory:
Did I say thank you???

[Q] Missing HTC HUB in Marketplace after Mango update

Hi
I just updated my phone to mango last night and i can no longer find htc hub in the marketplace (including "HTC apps" in the list) and updating my HTC youtube usually shows a marketplace error. Anybody here experienced the same thing?
initially i tried to update my existing htc hub, but i got a marketplace error similar to the htc youtube app. so, stupid of me, i deleted it thinking i can just reinstall from marketplace. surprised! no htc hub in marketplace! Any thoughts how to resolve this?
if no solution, i will try to revert back to nodo then redo mango update...
FW REV# 2250.21.40501.728
MArketplace error: 80320011
Thanks!

and you still don't have HTC Apps?
weird. by default, i don't have HTC Apps list.
but as soon as i sync my Live account, HTC Apps list appears.
maybe try a hard reset? will erase all data on device.
then in setup, select Not Now for Live account.
after start-up set-up, sync your Live account.
that is how i do things.

unsure why fulat asked your Bootloader version... that shouldn't matter.
Yes, so weird. i cant even search for HTC apps in the marketplace except for youtube. My last resort will be a hard reset.
Thanks for your help!
Great news, i reconnected my phone to zune pc then logged in my account, allowed it to list down my downloaded apps and lo and behold, the HTC apps showed up in my Marketplace list when i disconnected my phone! what a sigh of relief!

Thanks

hi,
to clarify, once ur phone is connected to Zune PC and signed in to ur account, look for "settings" - if im not mistaken - and there should be a section there to show you the list of apps uv downloaded before. I believe i just clicked/selected HTC hub from the list. Later on when i disconnected my phone from the PC, the "HTC apps" showed up on my phone's Marketplace's list. From there, i was able to install HTC hub again. Let me know if this works for u...
it happened to me 2 when i tried to install custom rom however i just restored it and it was fix

I can confirm this works, connect phone & sign in to Zune, Settings > Account > Purchase History, this will list all apps downloaded in the past. Disconnect phone and HTC Apps (and in my case, Orange Apps) will appear in marketplace.
It happened to me today. After updating my HTC TITAN, the HTC marketplace is missing. I tried the solution you wrote here, but it didn't help.
Any more suggestion?

Yes, wait, it takes a while, I'm not sure why but after a while it comes back. Not sure whether it is literally just a waiting game (maybe while the phone syncs with servers) or a certain action in the setting up process triggers it like linking to zune or setting something else in settings but it will come.

Unable to see Z3+ in Google Play(?)

Hello,
I am trying to add apps to my Z3+ device remotely, via play.google.com
I cannot see/get to add my device to the list of registered devices. No idea what to do to fix this.
Can anyone help?

I got exact same problem (factory unlocked UK Z3+). I suspect it is Signing into Sony services during setup that caused it but I can't (yet) be bothered to do a factory reset to test the hypothesis.
Do you also see "device may be monitored" on the notifications pull-down?
My phone is on 5.0.2 I'm hoping for an update soon that save me from effort of factory reset.
I also have the same problem. Kinda weird

Also at one point the Play Store on the device considered it a "work" phone and the design was a darker green. I signed out of Xperia services, cleaned Google caches, signed out of Google and signed back in, rebooted, and now I get the normal Play Store (my apps, usual shade of green). But still it doesn't show up in Android Device manager so cannot install apps from desktop browser.
I bought the phone from new so I know its origin is trustworthy.
Forget where, but I read it is a bug with signing into the Xperia services during setup (also led down the 'baidu' China rabbit hole!) - which is why I believe a factory reset and avoiding Xperia sign-in may solve the problem - but the problem isn't really big enough for me to bother. I guess the Xperia service installs some profile certificate and munges up somehow.
My play store is a darker green and says "my work apps" in the left side menu.
Ok, sound about right with the my Xperia solution. Unfortunately also I don't have the energy for a factory reset
Ohh I thought that was a new thing with Play store. I have the darker green and it also says My work apps... Weird, I like the dark green more though [emoji14]
Mine still shows up in play store Web with the name E6553
Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
I had this problem when i flashed the UK version to my phone, i'm sure is related to, because it was resolved changing the rom to another region...
Picked mine up yesterday, UK unlocked. Also says Work Apps and does not show when remote sending applications to it.

Help!!!! Huawei login id/huawei wallet

So i decided to try and see what is Huawei wallet, wasn't sue how it'll work as i don't have NFC on my version. Once i installed it, it keeps on coming up every time i unlock the device. So i cleared all data and took away all permissions from the app, plus i signed out of my Huawei id. But now every time i unlock the device i get a login to Huawei id. when i use task manager it isn't showing up there, and when i go to the app the only option i have is force stop. But i go back out unlock the device and the same blue screen with login id comes up. It's annoying the heck out of me! how do i stop this from coming up? Is there any way to disable/uninstall this app?! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Wow, I thought it was bad enough having to ignore the "login to huawei" message I see at the top of the settings page, and which i'm never going to use.
So, no one?

a funny workaround is actually to enable the "Digital Balance" and allow the Wallet 0 screentime.
In the Wallet app, go to settings -> about -> slider to stop the app.

notification issues on my p30 pro

Hi guys
I have a persistent problem with my p30 pro. I get notifications very late or not at all only if I open the app (whatsapp, messenger, email etc) then I get all messages at once. Its very frustrating because I had some important ones sometimes. Is there any fix for this? Anyone having same problems at all?
Also after I cleaned up some bloatware, I am not able to log in my mobile banking app. Is there any package I have to install back?
Please help... Thank you very much.
Regards
Alex

As you have a chinese version of the phone and you installed the GMS(if you did for having Google services) separately, therefore your notifications won't work properly, because many apps notifications are GMS related and your phone might not be Google certified. The same problem is present on P40 / P40 Pro users that bought the phone without GSM preinstalled and tried (some of them managed to install it, some of then didn't) to make notifications work, but they are out of luck. There are some replacing apps for email or messages, but need testing.
Your mobile apps were working before removing bloatware? If your answer is yes, remember what you removed (if you used my guide in order to remove, you can see there the way to reinstall the apps WITHOUT Factory Reset your device) and reinstall them using ADB.
Cheers,

I was thinking to do a factory reset and start fresh again but realized that the mobile banking still lets me use the mobile token only to sign payments. Reinstalling the bank app requires a bank visit in person, for them to authorize the app with a code(stupid if you ask me, should be done by phone as well).

BTW if I install for example Evie launcher and use adb to remove huawei launcher would it work after reboot ? And if I mess things up would I fix them with factory reset ? Just don't want to brick the phone.

Awkward about the bank app (which bank is it)? Can't you do it over the internet, regardless the lockdown period we're on? Like they do it when you want to create an new acount (videocall, you ID's...)?
If you remove the default launcher, the chances to get errors are pretty big . And YES, if you mess up things on it, you can Factory Reset the device and all is back, like when you unboxed your phone.
