I have had few missed calls where the phone was not ringing at all, later got a text message from my operator I missed a call.
It has happened few times, first I thought could be lack of service. Later I have done some 'research' and found out the missed calls happen always when I use 2G(EDGE) network at the moment the call happens. Just loading page by the browser or browsing XDA is enough.
Important, it is not enough to have the data transmition enabled, the transfer must happening right before and/or at the moment of the call.
The caller gots a message from the operator that the phone is not registered.
Anyone with similar issue?

When using 3G I can't reproduce, I stay with 2G enabled all the time as it uses much less battery than 3G ...

its not possible to use dataconnection AND phonecall in 2g simultaneously! it is normal that when a data connection in 2g is active, no calls can be processed - but 3g has no problem with that. there is no coherence between this "bug" and CM 6.1.2.0.12 or any other rom. you can try other roms, but in 2g it will fail due to provider support
I'm having some issues receiving phone calls when I'm in 4G mode - I'm aware of the fact that voice over lte doesn't work yet, however in my understanding the phone should quickly switch to 3g mode and accept the incoming call, right?
Apparently my P7-L10 has trouble with that. It just doesn't switch, and the incoming call goes to voicemail.
Is that normal? Is there any fix to make the device switch to 3g mode quicker upon a call?
Running B135 rom, rooted.

I'm having fine calls when I'm on 4G. (Milan, north Italy). Perhaps your city has too few 4G antennas and doesn't have stable 4G signal so it switches back and forth to 3G while you're having a call?

I don't think that's the issue, 4G coverage here is pretty amazing.

Forget what I wrote, I forgot that voice calls don't have to do anything with LTE, lol.
Anyway I'm having fine calls with 3G or 2G, have you tried doing a nandroid backup and start over to see if the problem occurs also in fresh state?
Fine calls with 3g or 2g here as well.
Except when I'm on 4G - nobody can reach me, it all goes to voicemail...
I could say I started fresh - I did a factory reset and a clean wipe 3 days ago, but I haven't noticed the issue untill yesterday.
On a French, people reported issues with calls in 4g covered area, but it seems that the problems come from network, not from the phone. The issues appear only in certain areas with one operator, and some other phones behave in same manner. Perhaps you need to check with another SIM card from another operator.

I just bought my note 5. Its the dual sim version. So the first few days was days.... i started having difficulty with making outgoing calls... texts are fine... its like 1 out 10 calls would push through. So i rebooted my phone thinking that it might resolve the issue....unfortunately it did not. Then a few friends sent me a message that theyve been trying to call me and it always says im out of coverage are... the whole time this was happening I was connected to LTE. When i changed my mobile network setting to 3g/2g .... then calls came in and went out. Has anyone have the same issue with note 5?
The international versions don't have VoLTE enabled. Not sure how to enable it. Mine also doesn't have WB-AMR (HD Voice) enabled either.
Thus, calls need to be switched through the HSPA network and can't be routed while connected to LTE. Essentially when making a call your phone switches and tries to register on HSPA, quickly.

So i noticed that when i am on TIM italy... And i am in roaming from o2uk, well after i either do a phone call or i receive one the phone goes to emergency calls only for like a minute or so which is a bit odd.
Called o2 they just said fo change network im roaming on.. My wifes samsung s5 is on Same network and does not fall when doing a call.
What could. It be?? Just odd. If i choose another network works fine but i like TIM..

Hello, I tried several roms and I had problems with the signal, every time someone wanted to call my phone I could not, it's like if my phone was off or I was in airplane mode. The only solution was to restart my phone and only the signal worked for a few minutes and nobody could communicate.
