Does the Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-I8190) have Bluetooth SIM-Access-Profile (rSAP) support?
With rSAP Support in supported car handsfree systems the exterior antenna can be used.
Not many Android phones support this but the Galaxy S, S2 and S3 do so...
I'd be very interested in the S3 Mini, however an extensive search did not reveal any information whether this is the case or not for the S3 Mini...
If there's any app that checks for what Bluetooth profiles are supported I'd be more than happy to help!
Else, do you know of a way to check this (without having a car with a handsfree system that is )?

Unfortunately the only way to check I know is a car that requires or at least supports the SIM-Access-Profile.
The little information I've found so far is that the S3 Mini probably does NOT support it (but I've found nothing definitive)...
The VW premium hands free is not using the rsap profile, so I think it is not available
Yes it does, i just tested it with my Kenwood Head-unit.

What version you are running? What Kenwood unit did you use?
I run 4.1.1 the official one that my phone came with and it doesn't work with the Mercedes Remote SIM Phone. My i9000 (S) did and a i9100G (S2) did very well. Why is it not in the stock firmware?

the headunit is a KDC-BT60U.
I running official 4.1.1 in the galaxy s3 mini, when i paired with the headunit it asked permission to access the sim card.
I also have an first generation galaxy s ,it always worked from gingerbread to jelly-been.
What i love the most is the sms profile thing, sms comes in, the radio notify me and ask me if a want it read out loud, i says "yes" after that i can also reply via voice.
I suspect that the Bluetooth chip/software of s3 mini may be incompatible with your car head-unit.
Hello everyone, I just bought a tritton kunia headset and it doesn't work with my HTC One.
I can confirm that the headset it's working because i tested it on my TV, my laptop and on the galaxy s3 as well.
Can i do anything, does anybody knows why it isn't working ?
Htc one (Three UK)
Android version: 4.2.2
Hi guys
I got a JVC KW-NSX600 in my car that supports MirrorLink. I got a friend with a stock Xperia Z and works perfectly. I'm using the latest official CM11 and seems not supporting ML.
Is there any 3rd part app or any porting I need to install to get it working?
Thanks.
Same question here
JVC NSX600 + Z3 compact (stock 4.4.4) doesn't work, seems we need a samsung app (Galaxy S III in the supported model)
PS:
MHL works (but not so easy to pass a sound also)
MirrorLink says a device not found, but the phone detects a mirrorlink connection.
I have the sprint version of the note 5 nonrooted. I have a pioneer app radio 3 with built in mirrorlink. My note 5 has issues connecting because the radio has mirrorlink 1.0 and the phone is running mirrorlink 1.1 which is not backwards compatable with 1.0. Is it possible to install mirrorlink 1.0 on my phone? I know this may be difficult since my phone is not rooted. Anyone have ideas on how to accomplish this?
Hi. I have n960f . I want to connect my smartphone to my car with mirrorlink but i found out samsung stopped mirrorlink support. My car doesnt support Android auto. Is there any way to use mirrorlink in my current device?(rom or apps)
