TOO LONG, DIDN'T READ: What is cable for? Where is it leading to? The phone doesn't work at all when I disconnect it. But as I press it, or reconnent when pressing doesn't do the trick, the phone boots and act like it used to.

Backstory:
So I dropped my phone once on the floor, perfectly flat on the screen.
Since then it would randomly shut off, indicating a dead battery (3 red LED signals) and do nothing. I managed to charge it after an entire night and a morning for 3 times, but then it died completely.
I decided to open the phone up, and after a month of playing around with it, I came to 2 defects.
The vibrator motor would constantly buzz, whether the phone was on or off, as long as the battery was charged.
When I pressed the motherboard on a certain place, namely a flat cable connector, suddenly the red light would show up, go back to very dim red, and suddenly the phone booted in "charging-mode".
So my phone was charging, and it worked completely fine, aside from the vibration motor ofcourse, which I disconnected.

did you by accident unplug it (after powering) with the screen off? Sometimes this causes the deep sleep issue. Before you unplug always put screen on and unlock.
Try a reset and let it refuel again
If that doesn't help, put device in flight mode, power off, take out battery for a few minutes, put it back, power on, untick flight mode.
There are more options to resolve this, do a search on 'deep sleep'
Hi ive had my touchpad for some time now but i stopped using it cause this problem happens ive noticed that sometimes its gray and other times its kinda pink'ish red. Also i noticed that some of the times if i push the sides of the touchpad on the screen it goes away for some seconds or minutes.
if i turn off the screen and on again it goes away for an indefinite time, seconds minutes or even hours.
why does this happen?
BTW it happens in CM9 and webos the same.

I would say there's probably a loose wire in there somewhere.
This guide might be of help : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1586017

Hello,
My phone vibrate continuously in my pocket, jacket, when I talk and is near my ear, and everytime I press the top of the screen. In some cases the phone keep vibrating for two minutes without stopping, even I restart or close them. Seems like a pocket detection is always active and can't be interrupted, but I think is a hardware problem. After press the screen again and again, the phone stop vibrating, for some seconds or minutes. I discovered today that pushing with my fingers the back case (2-3 cm around the camera), the phone begin to vibrate. So, pushing the display in the same zone, will generate the same vibration. Probably it's a harware problem in this zone? Can be expensive to repair? In my country (Romania) the service must send the phone in Poland, the headquarter for repairs.

I recived today a reply from a local forum:
"your vibra module is wrong mounted, and touch the black cable (negative pole " - " , cable that was partially stripped. Must to open the case and isolate this cable"
Maybe this fix will be good for others users with the same problem.
hi i have JY joying 3066 for Toyota corolla 2008.
i time i started the car and the screen was white. i could still hear but could not see anything (full white backlight screen).
i had to go somewhere and had no time to fix it so after driving for about an hour - the screen came back to itself but the system did a hard reboot ( all settings was wiped).
since then all was fine for about 2 month and now it happened again.

I plugged it in 12V5A power in house for several hours to fix itself but it still stuck on white screen.
to be Clarify- white screen is also on boot logo and on recovery mod
does anyone knows how to fix it?
thanks in advance.
after openning the device by removing one screw at the back and two screws at the sides, then you remove the DVD drive by removing 4 screws.
then 2 screws at each side to remove the screen and you need to disconnect and reconect the big white cable from the board to the screen.
this works for me
Phone seems not charging and having updates issues as well (aldo I'm not sure if one relates to another one). Is there anything on software side before phone goes dead that I can do? Or I should just bring a phone to repair service?

Got it to repair shop. Apparently loose battery cable was causing it.
