Hej everyone, i have a problem with my galaxy mini 3. I can't root the phone, can't enter in recovery mode (nothing happens when press three buttons)
When i enter in download mode and flash some ROM, nothing happens with phone.
Wipe don't work neither via Odin. Anything that i erase on the phone comes back when i turn the phone again.
I tried to enter in recovery mode via adb, but nothing.
I have also tryed simple factory reset, and when i press phone just restart himself like nothing happened.
Can i do something, just don't tell me to try crash test on it. Please help

Hi everybody,
I have a problem with my Galaxy S B (GT-I9000B) - Movistar (Argentina) Carrier. The phone was with the stock ROM and I was going to install CWM and then flash CyanogenMod 10.
I tell you what I did:
Ive followed the instructions in CyanogenMod Wiki for galaxysbmtd (I cannot post the link)
On the "Installing a custom recovery on Galaxy S B" section, Before the 6th step, the phone got stuck in the Galaxy logo (i guess a bootloop)
The real problem is, that I cannot get into download/recovery mode. Ive tryed all the possible button combinations (Specially Power+Vol Up+Home -for recovery- and Power+Vol Down+Home -for download-). I guess I need a USB Jig.
But what really annoyed me is that I had the phone plugged via USB, and adb detected it (when it was stucked on the Galaxy Logo)!! Then I made a reboot recovery via adb (adb reboot recovery). Inside CWM, Ive did a data/cache wipe and rebooted the phone (heres when i fu**ed it). Now still stucked on the logo but ADB doesnt detect it.
The question is: What can I do ? I want to connect through ADB, push a ROM zip and try to flashing it. I was looking for a solution in Google all the day long but didnt find anything.
Sorry for my bad english. If you need more information just let me know.
Thanks for your time.
Hi, I have a problem with my samsung galaxy mini (s-5570). I breaked the three botom buttons six months ago, so I use Button Savior who is very useful. Yesterday I tried to install CyanogenMod so to boot on recovery mode, I used the app Terminal Emulator (type "reboot recovery"). But I didn't thought that I needed the Home button to naviguate into the recovery screen ( ) and when I remove the battery and reboot, the recovery mode comes back, so I'm stuck into recovery mode, and I can't do anything :crying:
I searched while 4 hours for a solution, and I found ODIN, but it doesn't recognise my phone, even I install Kies (twice). I can't even format this phone, and I really need it, so if somebody have a solution it would help me a lot.:victory:
i also am stuck

Hi guys, so i got a new Mini2, and... messed with it, pulled a firmware version from a dif zone by mistake... after i had cwm jena and clockworkz working, installed that asian firmware, and never got the phone to work again, tried several stock rom installs (17 and counting, with/without jena firmware download also), it just keeps doing the boot loop, and i can't access the Recovery menu (vol +/- home power buttons at start).
I've been reading all the meaningful threads here, tried doing button combination with battery, without and nothing seems to work.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Take it to samsung service senter if u got warranty and if isnt try to use another mini 2 battery but I think it may not work and try to press all butoms at same time for 2min and if nothing work buy or make a JTag

go to download mode and don't accept terms (up volume) and quick hold recovery combination when it will start to reboot (ofc when samsung logo will appear don't hold keys). Try few times and it will work, if not 1st then another time. Do factory restet, reboot phone and take off battery. Turn on in download mode and install MD1 XEO stock and do again factory reset using trick from above (go to download mode and don't accept terms (up volume) and quick hold recovery combination when it will start to reboot.)
Worked...

My mini2 is alive
I'm glad to help you cheers
I have similar problem:
1. no recovery mode, only download mode
2. no matter what stock firmware I flash using odin I get bootloop
I tried the trick to go download mode > reject codition and then press the recovery mode combination but did not work
I wonder if there is a Cyanogen firmware in tar.md5 format so I can flash with odin ?

Did flash a incompatible kernel? Try flashing stock kernel, recovery adn ROM.
Hi, I sorry to bother anyone, but I need help because my phone is not responding and I don't know what to do.
C6603, rooted, dual recovery installed, bootloader unlocked (I think)
So here's what happened. I very successfully installed the existenz ultimate rom on my phone. It was a wonderful rom and everything was going well. However, I accidentally dropped my phone and needed to send it for repair. Before sending it to the shop, I decided to do a factory reset using the option in recovery mode.
When I got the phone back from the repair shop, I wanted to install the same rom. What I did was download the rom installer and then install the zip file using the recovery mode. I went through the AROMA installer and everything, So I thought everything was going fine. When the phone rebooted, it showed the SONY logo, followed by a permanent black screen. The screen is on, it is just black.
I scoured the xda forums and I tried several things, to no avail:
I cannot enter recovery mode.
My PC cannot recognize my phone.
Flashtool cannot recognize the phone. My phone can't seem to enter flashmode, either.
I tried holding the power button and the vol. up button, and the phone does indeed restart (no vibrations), showing the SONY logo, and then I'm stuck with the black screen again.
I hope somebody can help me!
EDIT: I managed to somehow get flashmode working, so I think my phone is fine now! What a false alarm! In case this ever happens to anyone, what I did was to unplug the phone from any source of charging, then proceed to hold on the power button and vol. up button for REALLY long, I think almost 20 seconds. This managed to switch my phone off (it would keep restarting if I didn't hold in down long enough).
download stock firmware and open flashtool & ready to flash, dont connect until it say.connect your usb cable to ur phone, then reboot ur phone when display goes to black connect ur phone to pc whith pressing vol down ,then flash tool detect ur phone and it flash, sorry foe my bad english

after flashing stock rom using odin when device restarts remove usb jig and press home and volume plus to go to recovery mode.. then clear cache and dalvik cache .. tis should solve ur problem. tricky part is after completion of odin flash u have to quickly go to recovery using volume and home button once the flash is complete so that when device restarts u can go to recovery direct.
