Same with me. I cannot get a Photosphere photo stitched together. It's really a pity. Did anyone manage to get Photosphere running?

From reading this forum, good work is being put in to achieving a well functioning camera on TouchPad with Android. But on which TP configurations do some camera apps currently work okay?
I am using TP with JB 4.1.2 by Oat and stock camera as suggested by Sstar (post #118 in the thread for this ROM in the TP Development forum). Thanks to both. The stock camera can take photos. Video works in Skype. But the stock camera messes up video recordings and the camera does not work in stop-motion apps, which is my biggest issue. I tried three stop-motion apps and they could not detect the camera or showed a black screen.
Any suggestions of configurations well suited for camera apps?
If you tell me or give me a link for the app or apps you're having a problem with I will have a play and try it with the JB+ camera that I bought to see if that makes a difference .
Regards
Pardon my delayed followup. Apps tested:
Stop-Motion Lite
Stop Motion Maker Komaori Lite
Lapse It Lite
Any help much appreciated...

Tried all three and I can't get them to work either .
Hey, did anyone have any luck with taking photospheres? I am able to view them with no problems, but as soon as I open Camera app from the Gallery.apk (I tried few different version) it always seem to crash when switching camera mode to photosphere or panorama. Any luck?
Anyone? Taking photospheres from wrist would be pretty cool.. and I think Gear has all the sensors necesarry. Photosphere viewing works just fine, also with looking around without touching the screen.
How to make sphere pictures with droid 4 ?. Google camera has that option but it needs gyroscope that is absent in our phone.
Anyone knows a way to make fake gyroscope or some similar to google camera app to do this ?
Hi,
can you be more specific when you say "sphere picture"? Are you saying that you want an app that will turn your picture into a sphere?

I have a new motor x4 and while using the camera app cannot find the photosphere option anywhere. This is a Google phone so I cannot understand why such an important option is missing. Maybe I just don't know how to find it?

have you checked panorama mode? My Fi X4 has it.
It's missing in the default camera app but you can still make photoshperes with the Google Streetview App.

It's not a Google phone, nor is the camera app included from Google. You could port the modded GCam over to your device for better image and video quality, but I don't know what to tell you of the lack of a photosphere. If you mean the "tap anywhere to capture" feature, then that can be disabled in the camera's settings.
I also miss the photosphere function. Or, on other words, I do miss the official support from Google to Port the Google camera app to more devices.
Latest GCam has been modded to work with other devices under Android Nougat.
I am using that to make photosphere, but I can not import photospheres to G. cardboard viewer.
Moto X4 has a version of photosphere, more like a photocylnder
I just activated my Android One X4 last night, switch from Moto X2 and discovered this morning no obvious photosphere. very sad.
Turns out the Moto camera app (which updated last night) used panorama mode to replicate official sphere. If you take panorama with wide angle it captures a full 360 degrees. These images are then available for cardboard and other sphere viewing modes.
Sadly, or I haven't tried enough, it does not do up and down. Image is blurred above and below, which is a bit disappointing, but understandable.
My photosphere from Machu Picchu would have been lacking without seeing down into valleys below and beautiful sky above. My sphere of last year's eclipse from a cliff overlooking a lake in Wyoming would have been dull without eclipse in sky and terrain/lake below.
But I can guess 90% of spheres have sidewalk/grass below and sun glare above so ...
I could just explore app more and see if it can do it with some settings tweek.
I downloaded a Google Camera for my Redmi 4/4x and that was working very well whether it's day or night, but after some day that camera is not working properly, whenever I take photos. I get a lot of noise in the photo and the photo looks very filthy. Please help and fix
