The status bar in Process Stats shows my device memory is low, whereas I am only using 65-70% of ROM at any given point of time. Is this usage really heavy on my device memory or there's something unknown that am unable to identify !!
Here too
I haven't seen this on any of my other devices. On my Nexus 7 (2012) with multiple user profiles, gaming etc. the bar is always green. Even on a cheap phone with only 512 MB RAM running CM11 the bar is completely green.

I had a CM 5.0.8 based ROM a few weeks ago and my battery was working well enough. I just installed CM6 (CyanogenMod-6-09232010-NIGHTLY-DS) and now my battery runs out while the screen is off at night if it's not plugged in.
When I go into Spare Parts -> Battery History, selecting Other usage and Since last unplugged, "Running" has a red bar and is at 99.9%. "Screen On" also has a red bar and is at 7.6%, and the same with "Phone on" with 0.7%. It's almost exactly the same for "Total in all time"
I can't figure out exactly why that's happening, but it seems to be part of the cause. I just have no idea how to fix it
For CPU Usage, "Total since boot" has red bars for "suspend" and "android system", but both are very small
For Network Usage, "UID 10007" has a mostly red bar with a bit of blue.
I can get screenshots if that's not enough information, but that's all I can find anyway.
Also, when I tap the "Running 99.9%" thing, it says that the amount of time without sleeping is 3+ hours. This isn't right; that's the amount of time the phone has been on, but it's been in sleep mode most of that time. It seems like the phone isn't actually going to sleep or something. Either way, while using the phone my battery runs out too quickly.
Are there any apps that cause this in the background, maybe? I have Swiftkey, Google Voice, and Astrid, all of which seem to run processes constantly. Then again, I've never had any problems before.
I got a problem: my battery is draining REALLY fast, like 20% every 2 hours.
When I check battery history (*#64... code) it says that: int other usage : time without standby/sleeping (dunno how it's in English > got a Dutch version (Wordt Uitgevoerd)) is at 100%.
Partial wakelock: Maps is also at near 100%
Gallery is not present.
I've tried rebooting, but this keeps happening...
What is causing this?
Firmware: 2.2 JPA
Loook in Setting of the phone...There have many options for On/Off forderground and backgraund process and aplications...

What kind of option am I looking for?
I tried a factory restore, and it still drains with hardly any apps installed (just Gem miner, Fruit slicer, Battery indicator). Battery history doesn't show ANY app being run. Just shows that 'Other Usage > Being run (wordt uitgevoerd)' keeps increasing when I turn it off.
Please help, this device is becoming useless to me...
Hi guys,
In Settings -> Status -> Battery Use (2.3.3 only), the Phone Signal bar changes from green to brown. I am not sure what green and brown means but every time the color turns brown, it wakes up my phone, and then, it takes a while to get back to sleep again.
See the attached screenshot. You will know what I mean.
So, what the heck does brown-green means in the phone signal bar and why does it triggers the wake status in my phone? I've also noticed, that when the phone signal bar is brown, the "suspend" process starts eating some CPU according to Watchdog.
Any input would be really appreciated. Thanks!
-Stock JVK rooted with FuguRoot.
only one day to use
That's how strong your phone signal is

It looks like the gt 8.9 suffers from an battery draining issue also found on many other Samsung devices:
Bug
If you attach and then remove a USB Storage device, a background service UsbStorageUnmountter is launched that will forever prevent the tab from going into Deep Sleep cpu state.
The "typical" way to unmount a USB storage, is by clicking the notification item ("USB mass storage connected, Select to remove USB mass storage safely"). This will trigger UsbStorageUnmountter to run.
If UsbStorageUnmountter is running, the only way to stop it, seems to be to reboot the tab. As long as it is running, it will keep a wakelock that means your CPU will not use Deep Sleep state. This will cause higher than needed battery usage, at least about 1.5 - 2% drop per 1 hour of idle mode.
Workaround
If you unmount the USB Storage from within "Settings > Storage > UBS OTG storage > Unmount ...", the UsbStorageUnmountter service will not be started, and your tab will be able to use Deep Sleep CPU state.
(credits: I found this in other threads (for the Galaxy S3, confirmed for Galaxy Tab 7.7, ...). source: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767654
Also, just pulling the USB device seems to not trigger UsbStorageUnmountter issue, but that may result in app force closes, or corrupted write operations.
If you realize you unmounted the wrong way, you can just reboot the tab.
More Technical Details...
- Probably affects P7300, P7310, P7500, P7510, as well as a long list of other Samsung devices
- Probably affects all stock ICS. Unknown if it affects HC. Unknown if it affects CM, AOKP, AOSP, ...
- you can see your wakelocks using a brilliant app called BetterBatteryStats. It can show you exactly what's keeping the device awake (i.e. prevent it from Deep Sleep). It's how I found the issue. (I'll attach a screenshot later). It costs $2-3 on the market, but there is a community version available on XDA (search...). Still, well worth to support this app!
- you can see if UsbStorageUnmountter service is running, under the "Android System" process, using app "Quick System Info Pro" (free). It shows exactly when UsbStorageUnmountter gets launched, so you can experiment. So far, no one seems to have found a way to stop UsbStorageUnmountter once it started. And killing the "Android System" actually turns off the tab.
Bottom line
always use the "System > Storage" approach to unmount your Storage device.
Please reply if you find this on any 8.9 or 10.1 tab - need a few confirmations, that it's not just my tab being exotic.

Using Nexus 6 android 7.1.1 rooted .
This volatile kind of graph showed first time on my device . I guess I had performance mode via cpu tuner , but anything like this didn't happen earlier
