In Korea they dropped the price while here it went up. And i'm definitely not gonna buy it for that much.

I'm glad we get the Snapdragon. Exynos is mainly for Asia.
Snapdragon will have a better software support like root or ROMs (wider spread).

It's listed as SM-N910FZKEDBT , so it should be the German EU version.

It is also available for order at cyberport. Im wondering why they provide it before official release as it seems to be german version.

The exynis version seems to be better and most likely to get Android L... And i dont know which one to get snapdragon or exynos..?

L ist 64 AND 32 bit. Why should Google release something only two phones could run (asian Note 4 and maybe the Alpha)?

Never mind...got it.

Buy Nexus 7 directly in USA or waiting for EU version?

Hi all guys !
I'm interesting in this time for a long time and i have a simple question maybe to the expert of you ^^
My friend is going to New York next month and also him is interested to Nexus 7 now in america i think that it will be around 199$ that will be 190€ now my question: is better to buy Nexus 7 here or wait that comes to Europe (in my case Italy) maybe on Ebay Thanks ^^

We try to think we arn't
I think you should go for it since your friend is going there anyway and stuff is cheaper over there I believe. Although with all the issues with the device you might want to tell your friend to buy early and check them for defects. With the high demand there's no knowing when Google will release it to other countries. If warranty is something important to you then wait because you will have problems claiming it from Italy.

Verizon pre-order now for White and Black model - Ships 10/23
AT&T pre-order now for White and Black model
T-Mobile pre-order not announced on their site yet
Personally, I'm waiting for the Gold model. Maybe the Edge, however I doubt it.
So here we are in the UK with a promised pre-order date starting TODAY the 19th of September. But Samsung have not updated their websites or eStore with anything today. Unless I am looking in the wrong place.

Folks say that TMO's will not have locked bootloader. I'm waiting for them...but likely will not do pre-order as I want to be sure it is not locked. I'm thinking making the assumption it isn't locked is not necessarily the wise thing. My luck, I'd purchase it and find it is locked.

Biggest difference is the network bands that are being used.
The 03 seems to be for EU/America's and the 33 seems to be for Asia.

Hello, so I'm interested in buying the Z3C from Clove, the D5803 model and I"m from India.
I've read that the only problem will be that I won't be able to use 4G.
So otherwise everything will work on Indian networks? Internet, calling, 3G??
Thanks for your help!
http://dl-developer.sonymobile.com/documentation/whitepapers/Xperia_Z3_Compact_D5803_D5833_WP_1.pdf
Apparently the difference is in the 3g and 4g Bands.
Also the D5833 is the only one to have TD-LTE which is popular in Asia (According to wikipedia) So i'm guessing 5833 is the asian model and the other is the "rest of the world" model.

Thanks. Yeah, I read something about that.
I'm just wondering if I can use that model in Asia. Cause that's the only model available in Clove and that site has lowest price by far compared to any other online store. So I was just wondering if I could use the D5833 model in Asia.

If you are buying fro Clove because of the price difference please be aware that in most likelihood you will have to pay customs duty which will pretty much match up the price you will pay for it in India. I bought the D5833 model with the Indian LTE band from USA. My friend bought it for me and is now in Kerala. Waiting for him to courier it to me.

Alright, thanks for the warning. Although I checked using the duty calculator they provide and it says I have to pay around 4,000 to customs. That still makes it a lot lower than the Indian retail price. Although I'm not 100% sure it's accurate

I agree. However, given that the phone is already selling in india at a much higher rate and if the customs guys have any idea about its selling price in India, I would think that they would tax it to equate your invoice with the selling price in India. I'm not certain on this though. But there is indeed a chance. This is not discourage you. The phone is now available from ebay.in for 39990 with full sony india warranty.

True. I'll probably wait a few more months for the price to drop.
I'll make sure before buying the phone from Clove to see how much the customs will cost. Thanks

The 910U which is in hong Kong also supports 700mhz and lte-A CAT6. Find the thread in general note4. This is the exact same model you get in new Zealand. In Australia we get the 910G. Mine goes ok at this stage juz not very well with my wifi at home... But, never has any heat issue and always stays cool unless i use it when it's charging (still not very hot at all). LTE frequencies u can check from other posts since there had quite a few related (lazy to quote coz im in bed already ). But, pretty sure it does support all LTE frequencies in Australia, especially 700mhz for next year as well. You can also check that from Samsung official site from Hong Kong.

I was just given this as a gift. I have AT&T, but it is sim locked to China Telecom. It says 4G is locked by China Telecom. Phone calls, text, and EDGE (2G) work for me with my AT&T sim. If I were to sim unlock it, will LTE then work for me? It is the CRR-UL00 version.
Also curious about rooting and installing google play services. Any advice?
