Hello there
I was using my n7000 normally without any isseu. I dont have root or nothing , all I remember is that one time since I bought it I flashed official JB using odin and thats it.
I was using and the battery was 20% , I connect it to charge and It was charging normally.
then I went back to use it and It was stock on boot screen Note N7000 and its very hot.
I pulled the battery out and try to start it but it didnt start! , I tried to accses download mode or recovery mode but I cant reach them! I let the device to cool down .. and till now I cant start it !
please help me

First thing to try is charge the battery externally or use a battery are sure it's charged and try to power on, or get into once of the factory modes.

I tried another battery which is fully charged .. It didn't work ..

[Q] Battery Not Charging !

i have this 'NOT FOR SALE P925' its unlock and has TMOBILE US 3g/4g Bands.
its rooted and has CWM recvoery installed.
i can install any rom on it.
baseband version is L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00
software version is LGP920-V10K-SEP-17-2011
its running build FRG83G by 'feb985'
i try installing different roms but problem remains the same. it will boot up , but as soon it boot into android it will shutdown because its alway on 0% battery. i try charging the battery in external battery charger and also another battery but it wont recognize the battery percentage and shutdown.
if the usb is connected with either computer or charger it will boot but wont UP the percentage of the battery. means no charging. and as soon as i disconnect the usb it will shutdown .
does any one have a clue what the hell is wrong with this phone ?

I don't know if its directly related but I remember seeing the same problem over on the Optimus 3D forum. Try a search over there and see if they cane up with a fix. I believe it was in the General section. Whatever worked there should work for the Thrill.

i actually put gingerbread on it. but still have the same problem. then i revert back to 10d firmware. still the same.
now if i can get V08 serier firmware somehow.
me too i've the same not for sale version, and experiencing the same prblem of battery,i did made a back up before up upgrading, after having the 0% battery prob, with several firmware i decided to restore my back up,but the same problem arises, but the battery charge indicator work when i charge the phone when it's off,if i power on the phone it will shut down as soon as i unplug the usb,if i let the phone charge completly when its off,i power on the phone while it's still plug in,it will show that the battery is full, then if i unplug it,my phone will remain on,but if i restart it,the same battery problem happens again and i should do the same process in order to use the phone unplugged, the phone will not charge while its on

if you've backupped your phone before upgrade, you can restore it,it will still have this not charging problem, but
if you shutdown your phone after restoring,it will charge, but don't power on the phone till the battery indicator show it's
fully charged, then you can power on the phone, but the charger/usb cable should remain plugged till the phone loads completly and you see the
battery full, unplug the phone indication, then you will be able to use the phone, but if you shutdown/restart the phone the same battery 0%
error will appear and you will have to switch off and repeat the procedure again,i tried restoring back up of other phone, but the indicator won't show charging
while it is off,but if i install custom roms using rom manager and i remove the bin image from it,it charges the same way,but the phone will restart by itself after
some use,and i should charge it again, while it is off, hopes this piece of info might help someone, btw mine is p920 'not for sale'
thanks for the tip .. but i never have a backup of it. i bought it like this thinking i might be able to fix it. i will try cleaning the battery stats in cwm and then let it stay off for charge let see whats happends.
btw do you happens to have the cwm backup of yours ?? i would appreciate it if you post it.
thanks

[Q] Problem after tring to revert from ICS (onecosmic) Need recommandations !!!

Hey guys,
Check this:
I'v installed ICS (onecosmic), on my SGS i9000.
It worked so far so good. Still, being not pleased by ICS i'v tryed to do an nandroid restore. Which i did. I says "completed" but not beeng able to bla bla "Android security something". Anyway i reboot and the phone got stuck on Galaxy s Logo. I say np, enter in recovery again reset data/cashe/factory, nothing happen.
I'm thinking, ok i'll flash it back home with odin so let charge the phone !
But here is the big problem !!!!
The damn phone got stuck on the battery logo (empty) and it doesn't charging with power off. And i think that i got 20% - 30% of juice left.
Recovery/ download mode work !
So what's the next step for me now?
Any recommendations ?
Please be so kind to reply if you encountered such problems or you have a solutions !
If you'd read the information you'd know that you can't restore stock over cm/miui etc.
Flash stock version of whatever you had before ICS in odin/heimdall with repartition, charge the phone and then restore from nandroid
Thanks a lot !
I'm hoping that that there are no problems flashing with 25% left on battery which i presume i have left now.
if that didnt work checkout darky 10.2 re its not called resurrection for nothing,i dont have alink you will find one on darkyrom or youtube puggerduk how to unbrick
as long as recovery and download works (almost) everything is ok... btw when you plug in your charger it lights up and it shows the battery "preparing" to charge? if it does that it is possible to charge, mine did, if not try to charge it on a friend's phone or use a universal charger for your battery.

[Q] Is my phone dead after flashing on rom manager installed clockwork mod

I have been flashing roms and kernels on my note since the day I got it on release.. Could say I'm bit of a flashaholic, but Friday I made the mistake of not using a SAFE kernel from xda but installed clockwork mod recovery from rom manager.. After I wiped data and proceeded to flash a custom rom my phone turnt off and I haven't been able to turn it back on. I can't get into recovery or download mode. My pc is picking up the phone but is throwing out USB not recognisable errors.. Could this be the dreaded hard brick and would a Samsung jig be my way out of it?
u said while flashing the rom the phone went off.. could it be possible that the battery is dead?
The battery was fully charged whilst flashing... And since it happened I have had my phone on charge whilst at work to see if that was the fault.
If phone is taking charging den use jig.
Hit thanks button please

I have no charge screen on the note but my charger has LEDs on to show charging. Should there be a charge screen whilst bricked?
it depends.. if its hard brcked then no just black screen
Thanks a lot. I'm sure with my pc throwing out USB not recognised errors I should be fine when my jig arrives. I'll let you know the results
hopefully. keep us posted

Sam S10 bricked when PC switched off while flashing by Odin

Hi guys,
I was flashing my S10 by Odin, using USB-C connector which is also charging the laptop.. (why didnt use the second one I idiot??)
Odin sudently stoped flashing, stuck maybe on 90% and I was waiting more then hour, but flashing did not succesful, if laptop discharged the battery and switched off.
Samsung is totaly dead, I tried everything like get to recovery mode, Odin mode, leave the battery fully discharged, unplug and replug battery... No any sign of life. PC doesn't see it..
It seems there is nothing I can do for unbrick it, but maybe YOU know some trick that may rescue my phone...?
Is it possible that some box as Octoplus or some like that will be working for my problem?
Many thanks for any idea, Regards, Tomas.
HI there, i had this once with another older Samsung, i think S5. It does charge, eventhough it does not look like it.
Keep in connected for an hour or so, and then immdediatley try to put it into download mode.... Ie Switch on, while holding VOL DOWN and Bixby.... The PC should recognise it, so you can reflash via ODIN.
Oh yes, and use your wallcharger, not plugged in via PC as its not fast charging**
Thanks, will try it and let you know..
