Hi guys,
I was flashing my S10 by Odin, using USB-C connector which is also charging the laptop.. (why didnt use the second one I idiot??)
Odin sudently stoped flashing, stuck maybe on 90% and I was waiting more then hour, but flashing did not succesful, if laptop discharged the battery and switched off.
Samsung is totaly dead, I tried everything like get to recovery mode, Odin mode, leave the battery fully discharged, unplug and replug battery... No any sign of life. PC doesn't see it..
It seems there is nothing I can do for unbrick it, but maybe YOU know some trick that may rescue my phone...?
Is it possible that some box as Octoplus or some like that will be working for my problem?
Many thanks for any idea, Regards, Tomas.
HI there, i had this once with another older Samsung, i think S5. It does charge, eventhough it does not look like it.
Keep in connected for an hour or so, and then immdediatley try to put it into download mode.... Ie Switch on, while holding VOL DOWN and Bixby.... The PC should recognise it, so you can reflash via ODIN.
Oh yes, and use your wallcharger, not plugged in via PC as its not fast charging**
Thanks, will try it and let you know..

Hi guys,
I have a problem.. my phone won't connect on the computer or with charger.
If i restart it, it just displays the battery and the spinner for a few seconds and then the screen goes black again and the process repeats over and over. I'm able though to get in download mode and flush successfully a stock firmware with odin.
As long as i keep it plugged on the computer it can connect with kies and recharge, once i unplug it won't connect again..
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance.
well the fact that you can flash thru odin and connect with kies ect suggests its not a hardware fault...
perhaps you could try a (stock) firmware that contains all 3 files. and maybe flash it using pit and repartition... sounds like some sort of bug in the rom, confusing the phone when connected..........
just to make sure.. you have the latest drivers installed right ??
I've flushed JPO stock firmware, everything now works fine but it won't boot unless i connect it to the charger. It shows empty battery..
very strange..... are you running CWM if so boot into recovery and wipe battery stats.. then try charging the phone for a bit whilst it is switched off...
if it still fails to work properly then i must be wrong and it could be some sort of hardware fault... only samsung can repair that (unless you have insurance for a straight swap)
I wiped the battery stats but with no luck.. it didn't work.. I don't have insurance.. anyway, thanks for your help.
All i can say is that i have seen similar problems posted .Phone not working unless charger plugged in almost as if phone has lost the battery .
Dont know if problem was solved but a thought would be bad battery connections .

My phone was acting up so I restarted the phone and it gets to the samsung galaxy I9000 screen an shuts off. When I connect it to my PC or a wall outlet via usb cord, the battery charge screen comes on for a sec and goes blank and back and so on.....it wont charge. I tried the hard restart and it doesnt work and when I try the download mode it goes to a yellow screen with a triangle. It says downloading....
Not sure if thats working properly.
Is this a problem where I can flash my phone and fix this.
Because sending my phone off to a center would take forever.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Well first of all your download mode is working fine. For your problem i have few questions: does your pc recognize your phone and can you charge it. Have you bought it with that problem or it has suddenly happened? I think that this is a hardware problem but we should wait for other opinion

If your phone was hacked before (rooted, flashed new firmware), you should reflash it with a clean firmware (or ask someone who has experience). If not, that might be a virus which rooted and damaged your software. There were some of these in the market. This could also be repaired by flashing. But you'll lose your warranty.
You have a "boot-loop". Your download mode is working. So you can flash stock firmware. Find your country specific firmware and use ODIN! But please read up on which version of stock you have to flash.
Hello
I have a Problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab Wifi
Nothing works... cant get in downloadmode, cant get in recovery mode... cant get in System.. nothing... Screen is black if i hit Key Combos like downloadmode or recovery or just powerbutton... after 10 sec the screnn is kinda lighter... but then turn off again... nothing... dead...
any help???
Possiblte to reset it kinda? back to somethin?
Any bootloader fixer??? please help!!!!
It would be helpful to know how your tab got that way - what did you do to it?
If you did nothing, then you should make sure it's 100% recharged, from the home power, not a laptop, using the stock charger, for at least four hours.
The sympton you explain looks like your battery is already out of juice. Its die i think. Yeah, try charge it for 4 hour and see how.
RootMe2Heaven, you probably flashed a wrong firmware version on your device. I had my sch-i800 like this but i managed to solve it.
First thing, as already told here, charge it for about 4 hours.
Second, put your usb cable in the device and try to turn it on until your pc recognizes it.
Third, if your pc is recognizing your device, try to boot again but in download mode and flash a stock firmware from samfirmware.com
If you can't make your pc recognize the device in any way, when connected via usb, then you probably have a hard brick that needs a riff box to ressurrect.
The most important is to make your pc connect to device via usb, after that is just a matter of flashing the correct firmware.
Oh yaa..what firmware are you? Did you flash with custom rom? What did the last thing you do before this problem happen?? Maybe some info could help this community to assist you.

basically i messed up the bootloaders now it does this (bear with me)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkFsZK79XYQ
it only does this when plugged into the wall and it will not do anything if plugged into usb port on the pc, my guess now is the battery is so flat that it wont do a thing any more! i almost got it to run via odin on the pc but the battery drained so bad that it wont respond, i have left it plugged in for at least 6 hours with then just the same response just on and off on and off.
can i take the battery out and charge it via a separate charger to get some life into it to then flash the stock rom via odin?
any ideas would be great! i don't mind taking it apart but don't want to if i'm going to fry the battery i have all sorts of wall chargers, can i join the + and - from the wall charger to the correct wires on the battery for it to charge? i have a multimeter to test the batteries voltage. any suggestions?
[UPDATE 1 ] flashed overcome stock rom then pc wont connect to odin even in recovery mode, :recovery is stock: :rom is stock: from the overcome website, cant flash any rom via odin as it wotn connect, error message usb device not recognised' how to fix this issue? maybe update.zip via sdcard within stock recovery? which rom and for gt-p1000 united kingdom. i tried to reinstall samsung kies for the correct driver but still the same issue, cannot connect after flashing. i have been following this guide http://p1000.teamovercome.net/?page_id=64 any help with connection would be great or flashing via recovery, almost unbricked but not quite.
my connection problem was due to a faulty usb cable, all is fixed now and i have overcome kratos.installed and running sweet
Hello, I don't think that you have a dead battery. I think your rom has a defect cause your Tab would like to boot. Is it possible to go to recovery or to the download mode? Try to flash something. Does your Tab start this screen flash automaticly by plug on a PC od starts this only if you try to turn it on?
PS: It is possible to remove the battery but it is a little difficult. My suggestion: don't touch the Battery
will not go to download mode or recovery. no response when pushing power power button, all i get is the flashing screen with pc and mobile phone connection.
i left tab connected to the pc for one hour, the tab came on with the pc-phone connection image, i flashed overcome rom via odin with repartition which completed but when it went to reboot it has stayed turned off and wont come on at all even when pressing the power button, no download mode and no recovery, i will wait again for it to come on and try the stock rom, not sure if i've got the correct bootloaders or not.
any ideas?
Have you tried leaving it on the ac outlet? or car charger?
ok slight update. . .
i left it plugged into the pc after it passed the odin flash it then BOOTED i was like WWWAAAAAAHHHHOOOOO bouncing on my chair and feeling very happy indeed the battery is totally dead but is now charging in the wall switched off to get some life back into the battery im so pleased
next steps is to get the overcome rom to flash!

i tried for 6 hours to plug it directly into the wall but nothing worked.
Exact same thing happened to me on the Sprint Tab. Called Samsung and sent the unit in. They sent me a brand new unit the next week.
when plugged into my pc now i get an error message, ' usb device has not been recognised' im thinking its the drivers but not sure where to get them, i have searched.
i have updated the 1st post with more information on this issue.
Your tab was showing a secondary bootloader so if you mess up your primary bootloader with the bootloader patch it'll still be recoverable and as for getting overcome I would recommend upgrading to gingerbread which doesn't have protected bootloaders and flash kratos or Jupiter which are faster than the froyo based overcome rims ;-)

the only issue im having now is the fact that the pc wont recognise the android phone when in download mode.
the only message i get on the screen is 'usb device not recognised' i am then unable to flash a different rom or a stock rom via odin being gingerbread or froyo. thats why im asking if there is an update.zip file that i can flash from the recovery to make the usb mode work as it wont even work with debugging mode on or off and wont show via samsung kies or odin when the tab is booted.
my connection problem was due to a faulty usb cable, all is fixed now and i have overcome kratos.installed and running sweet
good troubleshooting!!! I

Hello to everyone and happy holidays.
I think i've dead bricked my note n7000.
I've tried to put an ics custom rom having windows 8 x64 and got a failed message and blue screen.
During trying to restore a stock gingerbread rom, i remained without battery.
When i put usb cable in the phone, nothing happens, in wall charger i get a yellow triangle with firmware upgrade failed.
When i try to enter into download mode "Battery too low. Cant download".
What can I do ? Please help me, because i tried a lot of solutions and nothing worked.
The only way is to get an external charger ? Or something like that ?
Thanks.
Your battery should load with wall charger. don't care about Triangle or so.
Wait until it's loaded, bring it to download mode an flash rom via Odin...

So maybe the battery is damaged. Sorry no idea. Looks like you need a service center.

Fixed issue. I just put another full battery, entered in download mode and installed official ICS 4.0.3, and now the phone it's ok.
Best regards.
You have a spare battery? You rascal.
Glad that you managed it.
