I know it has been a problem for the G1 to send/receive MMS messages from certain carriers, however I was wondering if any fix has been found. Currently my only problem is I cannot receive MMS messages from AT&T users, but sending/receiving with any other carrier works fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

tell them to put a subject on it, it will work
im on Cyanogen 3.6.8.1...it will work with a subject?
My girlfriend is on att, and that's the only way I can receive a mms from her. It works 100% of the time. No subject = no mms. Its annoying.

I'm using an xt862 on Koodo Mobile in Canada. They give you the APN settings to put into your phone, so my 3G data works fine. I can also send and receive all kinds of MMS except that I can't receive any pictures. I can send them just fine, and I can even receive sounds, but if anyone ever sends an MMS with a picture, then the message just disappears into the abyss.
Does anyone know why this is? I've tried it with both the stock messaging and GOSMS with the same result.
I have this problem, and Ive seen others have similar problems. The issue is that I cant send SMS from my Verizon handset. I can receive SMS, send/receive calls and everything, but no sending SMS. This is simply because Verizon has locked the service menu and there is no way to access it. Anyone have any experience with this issue?

I have Telechoice on sim 1 and TPG on sim 2.
I can send and receive sms text on both sims no problem, and I can send and receive MMS on TPG (sim 2).
I can receive MMS on Telechoice, but for whatever reason I cant send MMS.
I get "Service not activated on network" error message.
I have set the correct APN settings for sure (they are the same as Telstra), I even called Telechoice and they assured me that my MMS service is enabled.
I tried my sim on my Xperia Z3+ and can send MMS no problem with the same APN settings I have on my Mi5.
Help? Any suggestions? I'm lost

Often I cannot send an MMS message or receive one either until I retsart the phone and then it works just fine. Anyone know why this is? It's not a signal issue. Restarting the phone doesn't magically change my coverage.
