I have an ATT Galaxy S5 that has to go back.
I was towel rooted until the last ATT update the NG3. No roms, just rooted. Never even got around to the bloatware removal.
Boot screen has the custom boot screen. Checked knox in phone info app and its showing 0x0.
Went into download mode and its showing 0x0 so knox is not tripped.
Will they give me [email protected] over that custom logo? Is there a way to reset that?
I didnt see this addressed anywhere in a search on xda or on the web anywhere
Thanks

I keep getting: Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your phone to undo any unauthorized changes I am running stock 4.4.4. Any ideas as to why I am getting this and how to kill it?
Did you root, if so then that may be what is tripping the Knox warning

Phone is not rooted and when you go into recovery the Knox indicator still shows 0.

So I wiped the system and restored everything using the individual files in this post and not the all in one and the security issue has gone away.

Then your op was misleading as you apparently weren't 100%stock, must have been rooted and or running a custom rom if you had to flash the stock Odin files to get rid of the Knox warning

Or there was an app triggering the warning. The all-in-one is an update, it doesn't touch the data partition. Flashing the individual files wipe it. Some app could have gotten corrupted, triggering the warning. Reinstaalling the app fixed it. It's faster than starting in safe mode and running one app at at a time for a few hours each. (Doing a factory reset probably would have resulted in the same fix.)
Hey everyone,
I've been playing around with my AT&T S6 Edge so much that I flashed over the stock firmware and was forced to use odin to get my phone back to normal. While I was re-flashing I noticed that in the downloader it now stated "KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1 (0x0308)". I had rooted just fine without tripping knox but I obviously tripped knox when I installed the bad flash.
I know it's possible on other models, but is there any way to go about resetting Knox back to "0" on the S6 Edge yet?
What "other models" is it possible to reset KNOX?
I should probably have been more careful before I said 'other models', no S6 edge to my knowledge but according to what I've read and seen videos of, the Note 3 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2740340 ) has had it done successfully so I was hoping an option for the S6 edge is available.

How do we root the 925a?
It's very simple and straight forward, just follow the directions given here using PingPong Root

I originally flashed back to NCE to root my galaxy s5 (att) and installed safestrap. Then I used the extreme Debloat rom. Since then my Bluetooth and other things hadn't worked so I returned to stock. Months later now I'm having an issue with everything being really slow and when the phone goes to sleep it doesn't come back on without being reset. I need to send it back to Samsung but the custom icon is there and I can't take Ota updates. I have read the forums and none of the solutions helped. My Knox is still 0x0 so I'm good there.
I have tried:
Flashing to stock with Odin..... complete wipe
Triangle away
Something similar. Can't remember.
few other things I can't remember as its been a few months
Please don't flame me. I did indeed search and try the solutions
Again.
0x0 Knox
Custom lock icon at boot
It has been rerouted in case the solution requires root
On ANCE
Thanks for your help in advance!
Bump still haven't figured it out
So I'm locked out of my phone via Samsung Reactivation lock and someone said try to use Knox as a work around. I used an OTG to get into settings and installed Knox but when I tried to open it, it says "My Knox cannot be installed because a custom OS has previously been installed on this device" ... Granted I did try to root the phone originally but in the Download Mode it says Knox Warranty Void 0x0. So my knox should be fine right? please help. Thanks!
I am experiencing something similar on my S5 G900A. I have only installed official ROMs using ODIN, my knox is 0x0, have never attempted to root my phone. When trying to set up my corporate email using knox I cannot do it. Using the My Knox app gives me the exact same message you are getting.
have you been able to workaround this issue?
yesterday I rebooted my device and to my surprise, during the initial bootscreen, a padlock and the label "Custom" appeared. Funny thing is I have never flashed a custom ROM on my device or attempted to root. I rebooted again and the message did not show up anymore. I think it might have something to do with a flash counter, but I am not sure if it is possible to reset it. Again, my knox flag is 0x0, so I don't know what is going on. Any insight will be helpful.
I think I solved it. Download the sammobile app and check if your bootloader matches your ROM. If not, then Odin flash the correct files. In my case I had PA2 ROM with OI5 bootloader, but once I flashed PA2 BL, I am now able to use KNOX again.
I was trying to set up my corporate email using knox and it just won't complete the knox installation using mobileiron. After some research, I opened up the Samsung My Knox app and it gives me an error message saying "My KNOX cannot be installed because a custom OS has previously been installed on this device". I have never attempted to root my S5, my knox flag is 0x0 and I am on PA2 I flashed using ODIN. Has anybody seen this problem before? is there a way to fix this problem?
Anyone?
still no luck and have not found anything similar from other forums

I think I figured out what went wrong. Seems like when I flashed PA2, the bootloader for some reason did not flash and it stayed on OI5. Once I flashed again the BL file, I am now able to open Knox and my enterprise email.
