Reboot at 2.01 am - LG Optimus L90

Since few days my phone decided "by himself" to reboot at 2.01 am.
I don't think I have installed anything new that could cause that problem and sincerly I have no clue.
Any idea or suggestion?

since the new Rom-Update it is driving me crasy

I have a really annoying problem with my P4350.
Before the official Update i was running HERALD_WM6.0_4.12.07.06.PDAVIET with 4 MB Pagepool.
it worked really nice and i had never any problem with it.
Now i updated to the official HTC WM6 Rom. First i also installed the OS from PDAVIET over the Official one. But then i encountered after a little time the Bootloop of death.
it was always rebooting, and removing of the microsd did not really helped at the bootloop it was only stopping at the bootscreen and hang there forever.
the only chance was a Hardreset. After that i installed only the official Rom from HTC from the Bootloader. Now i am running only the official WM6 Rom and it is also rebooting after some time. i did not installed anything that i didnt installed also in the original WM5 Rom, and SD-Card removing also dont help.
After some Hardresets i installed a Safemode tool.
now i encountered another Bootloop and i can enter the Safemode. There i sometimes disable a Homeplugin, then it boot again. But not for long, it will hang again in the Bootloop. I have no idea wath File/Program is doing this thing and i have not many applications that boot at startup. It is also happening if i have no Home-Plugins enabled (from Safemode disabled).
can someone help me at this, or is it only possible that i downgrade or never install any application(wath is also no guarantee that it will not again enter the bootloop)
(sorry for every error in my text because i am German)
How long do you wait before giving up when you pull out the SD card? When I installed the home screen I got the continuous reboot and when I took out the sd card it stayed at the green windows mobile screen for about 2-3 minutes before booting into the home screen.
Also, have you tried this: http://www.modaco.com/Continuous-reboots-t256186.html ?
thanks for your help.
But i already waitet for way more than 3 minutes. i think it was ~ a half hour.
I already tried to rename the OMAP850_SDHC.dll but with no luck. The File is in the Rom and it is not alowed to rename this File. (if i look at the Settings from Resco Explorer ROM is activated)
my OMAP850_SDHC.dll is 46.38 kB big and from 02.07.07 5:44 if this information can help.
at the moment i try to avoid a reboot from my device...
I think i found the troublemaker.
I deleted a windows-design that i liked and used in all Rom-versions, and since i deleted the file it seems that the reboot-problem is solved.
If my Herald will hang again in a reboot-loop, i will write here again.
so long... thanks for the help.

Hotfix installation problems

Hi Im not shure where to put this question so I hope youre not going to kill me.
So my problem is that I installed the hotfixes but something happened and problems appeared again, what I did is that I unistalled them properly using the Remove programs. No when I want to install them again a window pops up and says:"Please use the correct version to install this Hotfix program". My ROM version is 1.14.479.3 (25874) it came with the device. Anyone can help me please?
I've got the same problems, can anyone here help?
Thank you.

you must check that the hotfix is for your Rom Version b4 you can install the fix from HTC and this notification should go away. Or you can hard reset to bring it back to factory default.
only hard reset will work..had the same problem too in my stock rom(1.14)
you should only install the hotfix if its later than ur rom release date. otherwise a simple hardrest would work

Restore from Bootloader?

I tried to upgrade my 8125 using Shelltool earlier this week. I used the tool successfully before and so I was assuming that things would just go well.
Unfortunately, I ended up being stuck on the bootscreen. I can also still go into Bootloader mode and so I figured all I need to do is to download the Wizard Love ROM, go into Bootloader mode and apply the ROM to restore an older version. Well, for some reason the RUU utility keeps telling me about a communication issue even though I already disabled USB in Active Sync and I also killed the program using Task Manager...
What am I missing here? I am hoping that someone can enlighten me...
Thanks,
Jens
For some reason I was finally able to flash my 8125 with the Wizard Love ROM this morning. Flash completed and I was back to an old working ROM.
Unfortunately, when I flashed it with the latest CR86 it flashed fine, but then I am stuck on the Bootloader screen. Already tried it twice and just running it a third time, but I am puzzled...
Any help?
Thanks,
Jens

its on its last flashes my friend(or maybe just tire of custom roms)
but just before mine died, it would do that, until i was stuck on the bootloader and the screen would just die, i would have to leave it off then turn on but the same, after that i just left it alone
i could not flash anything on it and i could not see it suffer anymore
i still have it but dont have time to bring it back to life, at least it blinks at me
That's what I was worried about...
Strange thing is I probably only flashed it about 10 times... Very frustrating!
Thanks for your reply!
Hmmm, I just tried the old Wizard Love ROM again and it worked right away.
What am I missing here? I am trying to get to the new CR85 6.5 ROM, but I always end up being stuck on the bootscreen loader. I mean it shows me the HTC screen, but then it goes straight to the bootscreen...
Any suggestions?
I am back in business!
It turned out that flashing back to an older ROM disabled my HardSPL. I guess a case of user error on my end...
Anyhow, I also experienced the fading display mentioned above and I think that's just a sign of a weakening battery. It seems that the phone doesn't charge fast enough over USB in Bootloader mode.
So, if you run into the same problems like me:
- Charge your phone using the charger when you are stuck in Bootloader mode for extended amount of times!!!
- Flash an old provider ROM or Wizard Love ROM
- Re-apply HardSPL if needed
- Upgrade to a newer ROM
Cheers,
Jens

G1 Blank Screen Help Please

Just bought this rooted phone and dont know much but did alot of research before and after getting it.
Ok so i have jesusfreke v1.42 (says so in recovery state so im guessing thats what i got)
I decided to download a theme because when i bought the phone it had this ugly xbox theme on it and i wanted to change it. I looked up some themes and liked the blue star theme i found on this site. I downloaded it copied it to my sd card renamed it update and i restarted the phone in recovery mode. At first i didn't wipe the phone i just installed the update and waited about 20min nothing happened. The screen would load G1 then go to a blank screen. So i looked some stuff up and i tried again this time wiping the phone with alt w before i installed the update. Same thing.. I downloaded the rc33 jf v1.42 theme for the blue star i just dont know what to do as im new to this root thing. I did some more research and i came across someone saying to reflash the rom and try again. I dont know the process of reflashing the rom can i just download the file and name it update and install in recovery or do i need to wipe the phone? will i have to redo the hardspl thing ive been reading about? also why did the theme not work is it because im using a blank sd card that didn't come with the rooted phone. I know seems like alot of questions i dont know wtf im doing and i been searching for hours and trying different things but im scared i might brick the phone so i decided to register and just ask already. Thanks for ur help Aloha
LMMFAOOOOOOOOOO.....
damn bro i laughed so hard at the jesus freke 1.42 cause tht was the first rom that i flashed ever on my g1 last year. but go HERE to my blogsite and follow those steps. ( NOTE THAT THOSE LINKS MOST LIKELY DONT WORK ANYMORE I JUST HAVENT FIXED EM BEEN LAZY)
BUT YOU CAN GET ALL FILES NEEDED HERE ON XDA OR BY GOOGLEING IT.
ENJOY AND I KNOW THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU.
is all that really necessary ive seen alot of pages that say to do less things for a rom does that have other stuff to optimize the g1 or something?
auurrriiitteee thing is cherry now i like the theme too =) thanks alot man i got everything all fixed up now i just need to get a new battery =( my battery is all swollen and dying out!
Menu > Settings > About Phone, what is the Mod Version and Firmware version ?
Also Power on holding the Camera button, what what do you get there ?
It helps to have this info, the recovery may be old, but the rom may be new.
Anyways, it would be worth updating the recovery, newer ones make almost everything automated
Urgh, cant delete and you were obviously getting the info you needed, so ignore me

Tilt2 self rebooting

So this morning I woke up to my AT&T Tilt 2 rebooting itself. It was rapidly, and repeatedly rebooting. It's so bad to the point where I'm lucky if I can HardSPL, Task29, and Reflash it. I've done it 3 times already today because it hasnt gone long before going into the rebooting fritz. Anybody know whats going on? What do I do?

What rom are you running? We will be able to help better if you include this info in your signature. Are you overclocking? You only need to HardSPL once. Try doing a hard reset manually loading apps one at a time to see what may be causing the problem.
Well not too long ago, I just got to the post limit that activates editing of the signature. And it keeps restarting, so I dont have a chance to flash a different rom. And I guess I do overclock, every rom i see has instructions of hardspl and task29 befofe flashing each rom. But yea it wont let me flash cuz it constantly restarts and messing up the flashing process

Have you tried to hard reset? If so, does it make it through the set up?
HardSPL unlock the device so you can flash different ROMs. Once you have done this you don't need to again. I think I would try the hard reset and then do not load anything (if your use XDA_UC press no when it asks to start). Then wait and see if it restarts. If not then load the apps you use one by one and see if it returns. If it does try to run task 29. If that completes let it sit and see if it restarts then. If it does there is something with your phone that is making it restart. One other thing... what radio version are you using?
Enter bootloader first(power, volume down button at same time),connect to computer, then flash new rom....
WC
Ok it was acting fine yesterday, now it just started going into the reboot spazz again. And Idk know wat you mean by install apps one by one, i cant install anything cuz its constantly restarting.
And WC, I already stated that because of the constant and rapid restarting, I cant flash it because it always restarts before its done.
Is it possible your reset button is stuck or damaged? Has it gotten wet?
I dont think its stuck, I've tried pressing it and it seemed to press fine (it didnt have an effect tho). ANd no the phone hasnt gotten wet.
