[Q]Timeshift video-Solved

Greetings,
If someone could help ,
Timeshift video working fine , but when i stopped the video only saves in gallery and writes 120f on thumb and not opening the video editing to apply the slow motion effect where i want, anyone knows why and how to fix this ?
I read somewhere that you need the default stock video editing app, anyone has it , my roms seems not to have it if that is the problem.

What firmware have you installed? The rizal-lovins mod works perfectly in 4.4.4

i had the same problem with no option to make the video slomo. i just removed the mod and flashed again. now i get the option (slider bar) to make parts of the video slomo as soon as i finish recording the video.... just like z2
my phone model is c6902, NOT deodexed, running 4.4.4 (108), timeshift + 4k mod version 1.3.

Thanks for your reply mate. I downloaded and flashed the the mod in your link .working but still i can not edit the video. I read that you need the stock video editor so the mod will let you edit the video but seems that app missing from my rom. Is it possible someone to share rhe apk of the stock video editing app?

if you used titanium backup and deactivated movie creator 1.1.A.0.4, make sure it's available and working. Don't freeze it or uninstall it.

Finally worked!!! Thanks for the provided information mate i was totally missing the movie creator app so i installed seperatly on system app install and now all working as should be

Found the Lenovo super camera and gallery latest version v4.12 and decided to share it here.
By the way can someone who knows chinese help by translating the developer options in the app?

Works like a charm. Video recording, front camera evrything works like a charm. I love the menu and the UI. Miles ahead than the Cyanogenmod Camera.

Awesome pic quality in the gallery app, will try out the camera later,but it seems ok from the few pic's I have taken so far,but it's to dark outside to make a proper test..

I tried it and I realized all the third party camera apps are useless with flash on.

Is it just me or does it fail to install either installing as normal APK or pushing to system. I'm on cm11s and have had to revert to using an older version of lenovo super camera.

I installed as a normal app..it is working great no flash issues..all is well

What rom do you use?

I am on Temasek v154 and after every reboot have to go into system>app>lenovo and reinstall it for it to work and wont install as regular app.

After testing the camera on mahdi/AK,i'm fairly impressed with it.only the option to change resolution size is missing and that is really annoying.but everything else is working perfectly, haven't tried 4k recording yet,but the option is there..
Change your language to English and SOME of the options in dev settings are readable

Where did you find 4K. There is only 2K and does not work. Im also using Mahdi rom with Mahdi kernel.

Look below where it says "normal".as I said I haven't tried it yet.
EDIT: no only 2k recording is available.

I Need The Nexus 6 Camera apk Please

I have an LG G3 and I'm wanting to try out a few aosp roms but I always return to stock because the camera app. Im hoping that the camera app from the nexus 6 will let me keep 4k video recording. If someone could pull it for me that would be much appreciated. Thanks

It's just the google camera app from the play store. Anyone can download it on any phone.

Yes i know that , but the one on the nexus 6 has the option to record in 4k where the one in the play store does not.

it was in system/app in a folder called google camera with the apk. On Android L all of my apps are in folders in the system/app

I'm pretty sure the camera itself has to be able to capture in 4k also, not just software.

I have the same exact app on my LG G3 running CM12 (Android L AOSP) and it has 4k what phone are you using this on? Does your phone support 4k?

Yeah I'm using it on there. Its running CM12 and lolipop if that matters.

I was running liquid smooth which is based off CM source code. Ill flash CM12 and see if it makes a difference. Did you just download from the play store or did you manually install ?

I flashed the gapps posted in the OP. I and 2 different camera one had the 4k and one didn't. Now it seems to be gone? I used it earlier and it work and I'm beginning to think that I'm crazy because its not there anymore. I'm going to reflash gapps and see if it comes back.

I know they in not crazy because I tested it after I flashed the ROM last week. I don't use my G3 currently because my Nexus took over as my daily phone. If its not there then I'm going to see if I can figure out why it disappeared.

Thank you very much. Its driving me crazy having a phone capable of doint one thinkg and software not allowing it. Even though I dont use 4k that much it just gets too me lol

I just finished rebooting it and the camera wasn't in the gapps that I flashed so I downloaded it from the play store. Still no 4k, I wonder if it will sppesr if I change the build prop

You could download the APK and update your OnePlus camera app. Though I doubt the APK would change the picture quality, maybe new features at best. I don't see any difference between the latest version and the one included with 9.5.8

They promised to add the wide angle video. Maybe?

I just posted that it was out I see no change log hence I didn't comment on what does it add.
I was hopeful the new app would be a bit better than the previous version as some have mentioned that later app versions have helped slightly with image quality. I'll not bother next time

...I think they never did Camera App Updates via Playstore on the OP 7 Pro. They just update it with the whole ROM.

The new 9.5.9 update has 3.4.19 now..

not really with adb you can get it:
adb shell pm list packages
adb shell pm path your-package-name
adb pull full/directory/of/the.apk

Thanks @Killuminati91 what version it is? mine is 9.0.30.49 and with this one is still the same or the magisk module I made is not updating or needs something else.

The Cam app once opened on settings>about says version is 9.0.30.78 so looks like it is updated but closing the camera app and goign to system settings>apps>allapps>camera still says 9.0.30.49 on my device
Anyway i don't see much change with this app, we will need to wait for a new update or some works on the custom roms or someothing from the new xiaomi X12 Pro that has the same 200Mpx sensor

Yeah, the app itself is not the main problem for the sensor. Its deeper in the libs, you can see that focus is also broken in third party apps at 4k 60fps.
I'd also assume that the color calibration / (maybe even raw?) is done with their Camera-Tuner App, so that might be related as well.
Thought about swapping the libs with the xiaomi ones as well once we get a full rom of that phone. Gotta wait and see

Also worth trying this, to see if at least we can get the raw 200Mpx data for manual settings where 50 is max
by:
1.- Edit the file (with a magisk module) camxoverridesettings.txt at vendor/etc/camera and add this line at the end:
reprocessDump=TRUE
2.- Then once you take any picture in othere phones files will be generated at ./data/vendor/camera with the full raw stuff.
But with this phone it is not working, mb the camxoverridesettings.txt goes in other location in this phone

Just tested with the camxoverridesettings.xml from the Xiaomi 12t pro and it definitely replaces the file.
I also tried to replace the samsung hp1 libs from vendor/lib and vendor/lib64 with the ones from the xiaomi but they all crash the camera once installed.
