Guys I need help. After activating sony retail demo by code *#*#73556673#*#* it has cleared all my internal memory photos. Unfortunately, i have not backedup my pictures. Can anyone let me know by any chance we can retrieve all photos?

There is a app called DiskDigger. It's worked perfectly here but you won't get the apk files and zips good. A big change of video and pics and music

Current cybershot mod isn't compatible with kitkat 4.4.2, only with 4.3 jellybean.
Don't worry, just boot to recovery, flash the rom you're currently using, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, reboot and hit thanks if it worked
(oh and next time you are facing a problem or having a question or need help, post it in the Q & A forum. This is for themes and apps :thumbup

Nice to hear this works on Z, but as title says it's for Z1, Z1c, Zu, so sorry I didn't found this but glad that you have found it and most likely I'm going to give it a shot.
However, it looks like there's no revert zip to flash and medhar87 seems to sit in an nasty situation so I'm just trying to help him out.
If you want the cybershot name just the name then you can download xsuite xposed module which lets you change the name but there wont be any cybershot mods
I Need a RAW camera app for my Z (4.2.2). It is likely to be the only way one can get a quality photo from this device.
It would be nice if someone could develop one for all Z builds.

BTW you need root. Go to system/ and open build.prop and change every C6602/C6603 to GT-i9500 then save and reboot

I don't know about this model but NFC is a hardware part so it's won't work.

Yes its hardware difference in NFC modules, but maybe someone can help to port driver from one firmware to other, or show what files need to replace.

Recently I purchased an xperia z device and there is no google play store or play services present. I tried installing them and running, it says unfortunately the app stopped working. I am really confused. Instead there is a market app which is in chinese. I really need play services on my device
My device is not a clone device. It is genuine sony which has sony official apps and also which gets detected as a Sony phone in Companion suit and Emma flash tool.
Running android 4.4.2

Cool down you too. And I'll give you a solution for your problem.
First root your phone with TOWELROOT
Download it and install on your phone. Open the app and click the big button.
Then install SuperSU zip file from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
Open the .zip file and you'll find common called folder. Open it and find SuperUser.apk. extract it and install on your phone.
Open the app and you'll get a popup saying binaries update needed. Click on normal and wait till it's finish
Now go and download [NUT] Dual Recovery
See the link for how to install it
After you finish installed the dual recovery go and download the GAPPS (Google apps) from HERE
move it to your phone
Turn off your phone
Turn it on and when you see a green led keep pressing the volume down button for 5 times
You'll enter TWRP (TeamWin Recovery Project)
Go to install zip/install
Find your gapps zip file you downloaded
Click it and confirm the installation
When you finish click on wipe dalvik and cache
After finish click reboot system
Check it...

Good luck and careful with the steps and don't mess with something you don't know because this need flashing and advanced stuff you should take care about.

Why not just flash a stock FTF from a country other than China with Flashtool?
It seems the easier solution to me.
Edit - If you want to do this (and update to 4.4.4 at the same time):
4.4.4 stock roms - C6602 C6603
Guide here. Follow part 1 to install Flashtool drivers and part 3 to flash a stock rom.
