Hello everyone. So I have a Verizon LG G2 with Verizon unfortunately. Someone told me/and it appears to be true that in the settings of the phone they are actually already unlocked and therefore you can switch SIM cards and networks to GSM. Could you switch to Straight Talk GSM service with that SIM card etc. using the proper access point etc.?
Thanks Guys!
So got my t mobile branded g flex bought a unlock code on ebay got the flex unlocked put in my straight talk at&t sim and got everything setup but oddly its dropping signal completely with what seems like 15-20 mins im getting 3-4 bars and it just drops dead..
Anyone else experiencing this? Running latest android update.
I got a Razr I XT890 running retail 4.1.2 en.EU rom and despite bootloader unlocking (out of warranty now and rooting neither of two sim cards for Union Wireless (Wyoming, U.S.A.) nor one for Verizon show as recognized: a sim icon as well as the signal bars both have red, crossed circles over them and "Emergency Calls" displays on the bottom of the lock and home screens.
I took it to my carrier and they suggested that perhaps the sim card reader was damaged but I absolutely love this phone; has anybody had or overcome a similar problem?
Dunno if this is true, but is the razr i not a gsm phone and u need a cdma phone to get it to work in the usa? So only the razr m works there?

Verizon is definetely a CDMA carrier, meaning you absolutely need a CDMA phone that is from Verizon directly, same with Sprint in the U.S.
You can either use AT&T or T-Mobile or H2O in the U.S. with your Razr I, before you buy anything, double check on which frequencies those networks operate (cause its different) and then check which one of those are covered by the Razr I.
The Verizon sim card doesn't really do anything, they provide it for their customers who go global, for domestic service all information gets programmed directly into the phone by Verizon when you register a phone with them. Most Verizon phones don't even habe sim card slots, cause they want you to stick with their carrier til the end of time, some phones do, they call it "global ready" then.
I own a XT1068 Moto G 2014. I use 2 SIMs with it, both in the 900/1800 MHz band in Europe (GSM).
Since day 1 I have had trouble with this phone. In fact, I even returned it to the store (Amazon) and got a replacement. Same problems: first SIM will have weak signal, or completely lose it. A phone reboot is required to return to normal.
If I remove the second SIM, then first SIM works fine: no more signal loss or weak signal.
Is anyone experiencing this problem too?
Both devices have always been running Lollipop, so I cannot say what happens with Kit Kat.
Hi guys,
I Use LG G Flex D955 Eur version. For the past few days, I'm not getting mobile data in my mobile. The notification panel shows 4G/H+ but I don't receive any data. It always shows network unavailable. I Factory reset my phone twice and changed my sim card also but everything was in vain. Kindly help me with this issue.
