Hello readers
There have been people developing custom kernels for our Xperia X8, but most of them haven't release their custom kernel yet. What custom kernel are you using? I only can find a custom kernel that has been released by doixanh, which is LinuxDX, but this custom kernel has a few bugs. I am looking for a stable custom kernel for the rom i am currently using, GingerDX. What do u recommend?

Just wait until LinuxDX turns fully stable I guess.

obviusly custom kernel is going to work better, but not all the devices can be bootloader unlocked to flash it, at least not for free
my x8 is bootloader unlocked now

then obviusly custom, depending on the rom you're using you can use anastasia or nAa 14 or stratos or such :good:

mmm i'm currently using this http://yairpatch.com/blog/2013/10/cm10-4-1-0-20131028-unofficial-shakira/ rom with nAaJB kernel, but it is JB and I don't know if you're asking for a GB rom, anyway this works smooth, you can also try it with this kernel http://yairpatch.com/blog/2013/11/xperia-x8-gbjb-kernel-0-5/

ginger is more stable, but JB interface and functionality is much better, and also with the work of various developers it is now working very smooth
could you click the thanks button please
thank you for your attention.
have you use a stable and smooth JB rom in order to try it again?

Hey guys, since there are new AOSP based ROMs around, I decided to help you guys get Boeffla on these AOSP based ROMs.
NOTE: These are builds by @Lord Boeffla, I just extract the zImage and put it in a Anykernel zip

Awesome. Finally Bofflea kernel on better more stable ROMs. This includes boffela sound and everything works as it should compared to the real kernel?

Other than extra comparability are there any other advantages?

Just for extra confirmation, does this work on omnirom 5.1.1 also and does it have the sound mod that I can use the boeffla config app to tweak?

Should work fine. But don't flash it after a data wipe, the first boot (after a data wipe) should be on the stock kernel.
MIUI
What about MIUI roms? Boeffla gave bootloops with miui.

Hi. I'm triying this kernel on blissPop rom but i have a issue with cifs module. I have enabled it, of course, inside boeffla app but i can't reach my directories. Please can you take a look ?
It's not first time that i have this kind of issues with previous boeffla versions (for ex. with v5.1 (stock rom) cifs module worked, with v.5.2 doesn't ).
Thanks.
