Rhythm Kernel:
Based on HydraCore Nirvana Kernel Source as reference
New initramfs (RamDisk)
Kernel Include Siyah Recovery with Dual ROM support! [To be Tested, please report if you test]
Default CPU frequency: 200-1400 MHz (MAX OC up to 1.6Ghz speed!)
STweaks supported kernel => Lot's of tweaks inside
STweaks auto-installed with kernel
Supports CM10.1/AOKP/CM10
Kernel will auto-root device
Massive script for kernel/ROM management (found in Stweaks)
ZRAM can be activated from STweaks (customizable)
Swappiness customizable from STweaks
KSM-control included [Needs to be tested]
GPU tweaks included
Touchscreen customization tweaks [Needs to be tested]
Sound boost controls
CRON Jobs! => Your ROM Maintenance is easy now
Before posting anything, read this:
STweaks options - all may not work. It's WIP.
BLN is not working for now. WIP.
Not many governors as introduced before in Rhythm kernel. To be added later.
This is Beta kernel. Post your reviews with WHICH ROM you using and without spamming and n00b questions.
Any questions like what governors included, how is performance, is feature X included, etc WILL not be entertained. Test yourself.

Thanks. Any tester for DUAL ROM support ? :highfive:

I just installed it on a new XXLSA installation (the sammobile leak). Couldn't do this with stock recovery (verification error). Had to switch first to Philz 3.99 and in his recovery installed your kernel.
And now booting and waiting...
Waiting a bit too long...

Am gonna flash it on UBLS4 for testing purposes.. Its my nandroid hope it's good for TW also... Will let you know

Not working on a new and fresh installation of XXLSA. Stopping at Samsung logo while booting.
I'm restoring my GB backup now.
Will try again with one of the next version.

Agree with thaidai .
.I got to the "android is upgrading " ..it finished upgrading and then rebooted back and ended in a loop ... So doesn't work on touchwiz ...
When God gives you a phone ,you install AOSP on it !

[Q] What is a good JB based ROM + kernel with a lot of performance customizability?

I've experimented with a couple of JB based ROMs so far... Slim Bean, PAC, Paranoid Android, and currently my daily driver is CyanogenMod.
What JB rom + kernel combinations have governor options, zRam, overclocking, Bigmem+Hugemem, and other performance tweaks? Each of the above have a different set of the above options... IIRC PAC had the most, but I didn't like the animations used in the UI. CyanogenMod (I thought) had zRam, but now I'm on it I've dug around and, well, apparently not.

For me Latest cyanogen mod nightly ROM, Hugemem patch and Semaphore latest 's' kernel is the best combination for performance. It's worth giving a try

If you're using semaphore kernel then you can download the semaphore manager app from the play store and enable hugemem in it.

First flash the ROM (cm10.2) then flash the hugemem(/bigmem) patch given in below link:

Then flash the latest semaphore "s" kernel.
And finally, the gapps for ROM.
This is the best combination for flashing.
after installation Enable bigmem from semaphore manager app

I've flashed the rom, 720p video recording/playback + hugemem patch and then semaphore s. Now i have 396 mb ram + 720p :angel:

i can port the rom, but the kernel is tricky..
you can use any other ICS kernel like glitch,semaphore,devil etc...

but I think kernel have a major part in smoothness of that ROM.. I may be mistaken..not sure..

With so many kernels around here and based on experience, what is the best kernel for the Note 5 ?

Used to be Arter97 kernel and UpInTheAir's SkyHigh kernel but sadly both of them left the community and discontinued their work.

The Best TouchWiz Based ROM for i9300. Works very Smooth, no Random Reboots, Good Battery life and Performance with Boeffla Kernel (ZaneZam Builds).

try to redownload the rom bro.. maybe its corrupted..
or try the latest twrp.. it works just fine

@nik60 there are 2 icons of radio in the app drawer
also..could you make the radio a regular app without needing root permission if possible..
its a small bug/issue i found so far in this rom
other than that everything is fine

Yes
One is stock radio fm ..is aroma choice
Lte device not have radio fm ..so it don't work..no sound...i putted It for test and fix
Other is mod radio fm..spirit...need root
You can delete stock radio...Is hibryd.apk..in system\app
Other radio fm..spirit is in data/app..not work as system/app..
