I just flashed the stock RUU because I had troubles to update my HTC to KitKat....(another story)
Then using fastboot I flashed ClockWork recovery but then when I am trying to boot to recovery I just getting black screen...
I can manually boot to boot loader by pressing power+voldown
How can I fix that? Tried fast boot 'fastboot erase cache' didn't help.
I can't understand why it is going wrong
I downloaded recovery from here https://clockworkmod.com/rommanager
Was trying HTC One and HTC One (non-US GSM) versions

If your device is Dual SIM you need to be careful what you flash. You must flash Dual SIM files only. Other M7 recoveries are incompatible with your device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617159
Look here for a collection of dual SIM files RUU's and recoveries etc.

can you get into hboot/fastboot? if you can then use the HTC Vivid All-In-One Toolkit to flash a recovery (cwm)
if that doesnt work the use the HTC Vivid All-In-One Toolkit to relock the bootloader (assuming its unlocked)
once bootloader is relocked flash the HTC AT&T Stock ICS RUU in order to flash the ruu you must first download it on a pc, make sure you have htc drivers-then run the ruu like you would any other pc program...it will walk you through the rest of the way...if for some reason you cant download the ruu from the link above, i got the link from here http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-vivid-att/software-updates
let me know if any of that worked and/or didnt work...
i ran the ruu, rooted again and i am still s-off, can u tell me how to proceed

Have you reflashed the boot.img?
I flashed the latest viperRom to my Sprint HTC One. When the phone starts up is is on a locked screen. On my stock but rooted system I just swiped up to unlock. Any idea how to unlock the screen?
Also, I tried installing the CryanogenMod and Slim Bean roms. The phone would never start - just start their animated startup screen logos. I waited a fair amount of time - should I have waited a REAL long time?
I am trying to get back to an Android 4.2 version to see if I canget wifi tethering to work. I never could after trying many things under Android 4.3
you should be using TWRP 2.6.3.3 Recovery

Hi,
I need to S-off my htc one m7 in order to install ROM but unfortunately, I can't boot anymore to the OS.
I have S-on and access to TWRP recovery.
I there any way to S-OFF using only fastboot or any recovery mode?
and if there isn't how do I install stock OS back with S-on, so I can boot and do an ordinary s-off?
thanks!!

hi,
thanks for your response,
but in that case the guy had S-off, which I don't.
So even if I can push a rom into my device, how can I flash it?
maybe there is a rom which not requires s-off?

You don't need s-off to flash roms. You just need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery. Do you not have a custom recovery
Recommend this. There are newer versions but this is still most stable in my opinion
TWRP 2.6.3.3 Custom recovery

Ok I just read back I see you have twrp. You can just push a Rom.zip using twrp and install it to get the phone booting. If you can post getvar I can find a stock Rom to suit your device.
To use a stock ruu you will probably need s-off. Unless your on an old firmware already. But if your on the latest software you can't downgrade with an ruu without s-off.
Best option is to push a custom or stock Rom zip to boot the phone then you can try to s-off.

Added note. When you do post getvar make sure to remove your imei and serial.
Hi there,
Recently a friend of mine gave me her htc one m7 to fix it, since I have the same cellphone. This One has stuck in a bootloop... It does pass the logo screen and goes into the lock screen, but when I try to unlock the phone it shows the htc logo, till I press the power button and everything turns black. Upon pressing the power button again the phone shows the lockscreen, then again trying to unlock the phone results in the htc logo screen. Regardless of anything I do the phone reboots itself after some time... and the nightmare continues till I turn it off.
The phone has become totally useless. She told me she was in the middle of a phone call, then the call was suddenly stopped and her phone was no longer recognizing the sim. After that she had apparently tried rebooting the phone... and the phone stuck in the bootloop. The IMEI was also lost, although IMEI is shown in HBOOT.
I tried to flash the stock ROM, using TWRP sideload. I found this ROM for the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-4-4-3-sense-6-6-09-401-5-100-stock-t2854300 . The version is 6.09.401.5, which is android 4.4.3 and Sense 6. The phone was android 4.4.2 before that, so the main version was 5.11.401.10.
The weird part, is that when I wipe everything with TWRP, and flash the 6.09.401.5, nothing changes... The HBOOT still mentions the main version as 5.11.401.10 and the problem persists. Honestly Im desperately in need for help. :crying:
Let me ask in questions,
1- What the hell has happened?! why phone has suddenly stopped recognizing sim and lost its IMEI, and stuck in bootloop?
2- Why can't I get out of lock screen?!
3- Why when I flash the 4.4.3 ROM, (after I wipe everything), HBOOT mentions the main version as 4.4.2? why nothing changes and there is no "first time loading" settings?
4- Please check the link I mentioned earlier, and tell me if it is a ROM that contains everything for a fresh install.
General info:
baseband: 4T.27.3218.14
version main: 5.11.401.10
platform: HBOOT_8064
modelid: PN0710000
cid: HTC__J15
security: on
recovery: TWRP
HBOOT: 1.57
Please help me in any way you can ASAP... I appreciate all of your advices. Thank you very much.

because of missing imei and baseband.

You can't change version main by flashing a Rom. You need to update the firmware for that, did you wipe data before installing the rom?

This is just the stock Rom. You can try to update firmware but not sure it will help.
Download this http://xda7.androidrevolution.org/db_mirror/Firmware/HTC/HTC_One/401/6.09.401.10.zip
Put the zip in your fastboot folder and rename it firmware.zip
Reboot the phone to the bootloader and Connect fastbootusb. Now open your Fastboot command line and type
Code:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
<--- case sensitive.
The phone will reboot to a black screen with a Silver HTC LOGO. This is RUU mode. Now we're going to flash the firmware.
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
The first flash will be short. It's just a preupdate preparing the hboot for the new firmware. So we need to do the same command again.
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
The second flash will take a little longer and this time it will flash the full firmware. The progress bar on the phone screen will not reach 100% this is normal as long as the command window has completed its output the flash is done.
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Reboot the phone and [emoji120] if this doesn't work it's probably a hardware problem.

Yes it's a normal symptom of the issue. For some reason the missing imei and baseband breaks a lot of things with sense. You can flash cm11 and get access to the device it won't fix the the problem but because the Rom is not sense based it seems to work better I'm not sure exactly why. But the imei and baseband will still be missing and you'll have no cell reception.

By the way I consulted a repair man before. I thought he was way out of the scene, since he told me the boot is broken... which doesn't even make sense in my opinion.

See in this thread it's important that you use one of the following recoveries to flash the Rom. So be sure to flash the recovery first then install the Rom.
Recovery to use
TWRP 2.7.1.2 or CWM Touch 6.0.4.8
It does sound like your repair man was way out. If you do take it for a hardware repair I wouldn't take it back to him

Thanks so much for the useful advices. The CM11 indeed works, but as you said the lost IMEI problem remains... apart from CM11 bugs, like camera error and such.
