Wasn't delayed where i live (Peterborough) most stores here, ee, carphone warehouse all had plenty of stock. i preordered mine a few weeks back and when i went in today at about 2pm to the ee store, i was still the first to pick one up.

From that article:

Are you sure about that?
My Note 4 from Three is working perfectly with a Vodafone SIM. That being said, I did flash a stock ROM to get rid of the Three branding, but I've never heard of this unlocking a carrier locked phone.

Oh right, yea I assumed the three logo appearing meant it was locked to them (was like that in the old days). Good news if it's not though ! How is the stock rom running?
Three phones are all unlocked now - just have splash screen etc.

To be honest, I've not really noticed any difference, but then again I only had it on the Three ROM for less than a day.
The only reason I changed is because I wasn't being offered the update that was released this week.

My thoughts is that since my phone seems to be an "imported" phone (even if i bought it trough my provider in April) if it has an IMEI that is in with all the american ones. Possibly we get the OTA together with them. Could happen i think.
Same might go for UK phones.
I'm not really holding my breath, running 5.0.8 so any time will do for me.

Chances are you'll be on 6.0 CM froyo before Google pushes out their lame duck Nexus froyo.
How are the phone selected to receive OTA? I have a stock N1 brought in Romania and using a vodafone Ro sim card. The phone is not brought from Vodafone Ro . Vodafone Ro has not yet sold any N1 as far as I know. Up to this moment I understand that no N1 from abroad of USA has received OTA. How the selection works , by network operator, by IMEI , something else ?

The honest answer is I'm not sure myself. I've heard conflicting reports of who distributes the OTA updates.
I suppose I'll just wait around like everyone!

I have an AT&T Nexus one imported to India. I am Using it in India since beginning. I am one of the first and very few who got the FRF83 OTA update. Nexus One is not released here. So the OTA is neither country specific nor t-mobile only.
Hi guys just bought a new samsung S3 i9305 LTE but its on orange (uk) and i want to use it on t-mobile (uk), can any give me some instructions on what software to use where to get the software and how to use the software please?
also is it different software to unlock the S3 LTE and If root my S3 LTE will it affect the fuctionality of the 4G when it launch?

Orange and T-Mobile phones don't need unlocking if used on each others network
Yeah, very technically, Orange and T-Mobile don't exist anymore. My GF's S3 says "EE" on it now.
yeh they do seem to work with t-mobile in and my mrs put her o2 sim in and that works as well ... was told they were locked but seems to be working fine on orange , o2 and t-mobile which is lucky as no body seems to know how to unlock the LTE 4g models yet...

As I'm planning on getting the same phone but using my o2 sim card, if you can confirm this that would be great

yes m8 I bought 2 of them both on orange and they both work with orange, t-mobile, and o2... been few days now and rebooted and all seems fine still

I thought Orange would put their own ROM/branded software onto the phone as the S3 LTE appears to be exclusive to orange at the moment.

no there not exclusive to orange youcan buy them on ebay from most now, mine is orange but it was bought from a t-mobile shop as they were only £449 each two days before they were £360 i was gutted lol

no that was the only sims we had to hand but as sims are free now if someone wants to send me a diff one to try for them i could do for them if they liked

Mate I ordered my i9305 from orange on pay as you natter on 9 October - still haven't got it yet. Not sure if I'm particularly unlucky of if the titanium version is just out of stock but I've chased them twice and checking online it just says order is being readied for dispatch. When i made the order it said on the receipt it would be sent out within 2 days but that was clearly a lie!
Would be interested to know how quickly yours arrives. Also how are people getting hold of the t-mob payg version? I thought it was only available from orange online on payg...

That could also mean AT&T's shipping their pre-orders earlier than the 10/1 date stated. BB is just an agent for the various wireless carriers and serves at their pleasure. I'd find it odd AT&T would allow a third-party to sell a highly anticipated new device before they themselves offered it. The carriers and third-party resellers are frenemies; all the carriers pay them handsome commissions upfront on the value of the two-year deal (device and voice/data plan) and would always rather avoid that pay-out by doing as many customer-direct deals as possible. I've followed BB's pre-order handling of some in-demand devices and it's been a cluster-f because what's in their system doesn't necessarily reflect what's actually happening. We'll know soon enough and best of luck to all no matter what channel they’re ordering from.

stock is going fast on att note 3s where i work, and note 3 is launching on the 10th for verizon.
Ordered mine on 9/4 I think and it arrived on my door yesterday (10/3) sometime between 2:30 & 3pm. FedEx didn't even ring the bell, but my son told me I had a package as he came thru the front door from school. :sly:

I just got mine and found a verizon sim pre-installed and when I called to activate it they told me I needed a new sim to activate it. That might have something to do with it not coming unlocked from Amazon but I don't have a spare Nano sim from a different carrier to try and check for you. I would try calling Motorola support and ask

Nice, when do you order yours? I ordered mine last Thursday and still no word on shipping. It's definitely going to have a vzw sim in it, the inventory is from vzw. It is unlocked since it's vzw has to have the GSM radios unlocked. I have friends with vzw and have nano sim and can get a T-Mobile. If I had mine I'd be able to find a solution for you. =/

I've tried, twice, both resulted in you'll get contacted. Which is pretty absurd, they have no idea when it'll be available and the stores nearby do have them in stock... So I'm just annoyed by it all at this point.

Unless they are giving you something for free because of the delay why don't you just cancel and pick it up at one of those stores?

Hey I have LTE on my op3t, that's weird maybe some network settings
Its an att issue with unlocked non att phones. If you tell them its an official att phone from your past LTE will work fine. As long as you have the correct US version and not the international or Chinese version.
My LTE on H2O(att) is amazingly fast. But they have no idea what phone im using because they never ask

Hopefully you got it new from OnePlus and not from amazon or ebay or swappa. The LTE issue is probably just a nice benefit att offers its customers to keep you buying phones with att logos on them. Just tell them you went back to your old att phone and LTE will probably start working perfectly again.

Unfortunately it was Swappa, and it is Chinese. Luckily PayPal sided with me and I'm returning the phone to the seller. I'll be out the cost of shipping, but whatever. I'll be going to OnePlus website when the money is given back to me.

I think i got scammed on Swappa also. Mate 9 on Saturday buyer in the same state. Tracking shows only a shipping label was created monday morning. Seller and swappa are not responding I guess I have to contact my credit card company. What a lousy company with lousy sellers Swappa is

I get the feeling they have no way to help me besides instructions for me to go start a dispute regarding the transactions. I'd rather they just refunded me instead of making me waste more time.

My gut was right. The guy was a scam and swappa was extremely unhelpful. Took them forever to shut the guy down no matter how much evidence they had he was a scammer! Anyone know anyone who wants to do a story about how shady swappa is? I have so many screenshots and messages and saved web pages before they erased my messages. That's terrible. Sorry to hear it. My issue is resolved. Swappa was super fast to refund my $15 fee, and PayPal was quick to refund me. Ordered my 128 gb op3t from oneplus website last night. Should be here Thursday. Thought about holding out for the oneplus 5, but I didn't want to wait.
I also noticed that they just made separate listings for the different op3t models. Hopefully nobody else has to go through what I did.
