Hi peeps,
This may be something that Sony have just blocked on the device, but does anyone know how to get to the screen shown in the image attached? I've been trying multiple keys to get to it, *#*#7378423#*#* not giving the right info.
The main thing I'm looking for is the band, its to help out the LTE Discovery App as I'm in the UK on EE
If anyone knows where I can get this info from on my phone I'll be very appreciative
Thanks!

I was wondering what the breakdown of the method for changing the lock screen and notification menu that says at&t to something of my choosing. I am using a mac and would like to know the steps to do this. I know there is a thread for the HTC EVO, but i do not believe that to work for the captivate. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated.
You mean the one that says "no service" when you switch the phone on?
Could this data be received from the service provider itself?
Perhaps not; I bet it can be modded.
Nope, I mean where it says AT&T when you first wake the phone before you slide to unlock the phone, and where the AT&T is when you pull down the notification menu.
I can do screen shots if this still doesn't make sense, just let me know...
Not sure if this is the right place or not, but i hope someone can help me out.
I bought an unlocked HTC HD7, as i wanted to try out the WP7 platform and my carrier doesn't offer a WP7 phone.
So i slot in my Sim card and i get no networks detected. If i go to settings \ Cellular and click on network selection, then tap to select. It scans and comes back with the option of my network (MTS). but when i select it, still it won't connect.
I do not got the prompt to unlock so i am assuming that the SIM is unlocked. Also have confirmed it worked with the previous owners Rogers Sim card (different network).
So any ideas what i can try to resolve this?
OK update i tried updating to the latest NoDo for TMobile US. Did not resolve.
Not sure if this helps anyone but in the top corner instead of signal bars i get a crossed out circle.
Anyone help please?
I am lucky the guy i got it from will trade phones back, but i was really hoping to try this phone out.

Ok I'm wondering if someone could help me out here. I picked up a Korean SKT Galaxy Note today, however the LTE isn't compatible with docomo's network. I did some searching online and found that there is a code you can put into the dialer to access a STK hidden menu, which ultimately let's you alter the phone to accept WCDMA frequencies and such. The code is:
319712358
However the phone then requires a password. I found 774632 as the password but when I put in the sequence, nothing happens.
I bought this phone used for 65,000 yen (about $720) and it is apparently unlocked, as I can use my docomo number without a problem. I desperately want to keep the phone (the store said I could return it) but have no use for it without the data, and thus would be incredibly grateful if someone could help me out...
May be try to use 996412 instead of 774632

Hi developers and geniuses,
I have a Nokia Lumia 625 after coming in from android to see what NOKIA/MICROSOFT have. The phone is actually cool except for some few irritations like browsing when 3G signal is low. Please does anyone know how I can lock the phone to 3G only and prevent it from switching to EDGE cos it dows that too frequently hence making the high speed capability of the phone non and void? Please help.

It could be done before the Amber update (by dialing ##3282#) but the 625 came with Amber... I don't think there are other ways to do that (other than changing carrier if yours is too weak in your area)
The sure way to launch it to use the @cpuguy's Native Toast Notification Launcher and enter the following code in the textbox:
Code:
app://2377fe1b-c10f-47da-92f3-fc517345a3c0/_default#/Launcher;component/MainPage.xaml?DialString=3282
This page might be blank depending on your carrier though, it is on the 928.
Thanks for this but I kinda don't understand what is being said here. Please elaborate. Thanks
You can launch the field test menu by dialing ##DATA# in the dialer. If that doesn't work you will need to install the Native Toast app to be able to access the setting.
Hello fellows,
I have an HTC 626 from Verizon and I wanted to switch to the GSM network, just like anyone with a Verizon phone who wants more or better for their needs. I decided to switch to AT&T but I have a very annoying issue. I hope I can get around this without having to root my phone. The issue is that on boot there is a message that pops up telling me that there is a non Verizon Sim in the phone. Immediately afterward, an icon that looks like a Sim with a question mark in the bottom right of the Sim card icon will show in the notification bar and stay permanently. This is extremely annoying on boot and extremely annoying to have to live with and it's making me hide the notification bar. I know that this issue was brought up a number of years ago in forums but today many things have changed. That is why I am bringing it up here, besides for the facts that there was no definitive answer there. How can I make my phone not still be considered a Verizon phone or how to trick the phone? Is there a way, non-rooted to modify my notification bar? Maybe if I switch from Global mode it will solve this (but what apn will work). Experts, please tell me what needs to be done/what can be done to solve my issue. I appreciate any help from anyone and I thank you beforehand for your help. Have an enjoyable weekend.
