Hello,
I am missing the speed dial function in the kaiser dialpad as it is in other wm5 and wm6 smartphones.
HTC has modified the dialpad for larger buttons but removed the integrated speed dial function
I do not want to use the function in HTC-home, I want to use the speed dial directly in the dialpad!
Are there any other skins out there which work on the htc kaiser but with a speed dial function?
Are you talking about pushing and holding the 1 - 9 buttons? This works on the Tilt dialer.
If you remove the video button you get the old shool dialer with speed dial button. /Hasse

Click to collapse
This also works on mine, you can also click the scroll wheel down and it will bring up the speed dial list.
What could be faster than pushing a picture of someone and having it dial for you? I guess I don't get it.
Hi,
are there any applications or tweaks to make the phone screen buttons selectable with the hardware cursor buttons and the centre button to press them?
At the moment speed dial menu comes up which is ok but I would prefer to press phone and cursor around the screen selecting the numbers then press phone again to make the call.
I want to be able to dial a number without opening my hard case.
Thanks.
Ian
What about voice command? If you don't have all the buttons accessible in your case you can re-map one.
Phone manual dialing
anyone else had any joy on this?
I tried SPC phone suite and Shell both of which improve general one hand usability but not for dialing.
SPB Shell has a contact search screen with cursor key driven use of phone pad buttons but bot for the dialer of the phone - I asked them to look into it.
Voice command - any trial version available?
I love Voice Command, worthy the $. There is no need to train the app, it recognizes all of your contacts immediately.
I'm going nuts here. After searching google and this forum I simply can't find a way to bring up my call history. Ie the full log that you can see when you have a missed called and you click the phone with an exclamation mark in the top bar of the phone.
I know I can view history for individuals in the contact manager but how do I bring up the full log?
With normal ROM?
I remember it was something like pressing Dial button (green button) and then press UP on your pad.
ps. Hi all on the forums, after reading here for some time i decided to post aswell
If it's the stock rom the icon is on the today screen to the right of the text message icon. Otherwise in the dialer app it's the icon that looks like a phone with and arrow wrapped around it just below the video call icon. Hope this helps.
Press the green dial button and up or right pad button. It will open the call log. Alternatively, on the dialer screen, there is a call history button below the backspace and video call button.
Cheers.
when i click on 2 numbers as a short cut for a name and click on it, it immediately dial it instead of opening the contact, problem is i have more than a number for one contact and sometimes i want to dial the other number is there any tweak for this???? i really appreciate any help as it frustrate me dialing when i am in a hurry...
i know i could click right/left to change the number but somehow the numbers keeps changing fast like it's malfunction.
Same problem, I find autumatic dial very anoying
Is there any way to disable it and only dial by pressing the dial key ?
Thankxxxx
You can TRY to click the arrows left&right of the humber description. It should look something like this:
[NAME] < mobile number >
After pressing on of the arrows:
[NAME] < work number >
But the arrows are very small. Gesture doesn't work unfortunately. You can also use the DPAD down buttons to select the contact you like to call and then use the DPAD left or right arrow to switch between numbers for that contact. But I hate the DPAD
I would like it if you could just click and hold the contact and be able to switch numbers from the context menu...
I have a stock Galaxy S8. There is a delay from when I get a call till the swipe screen comes up then another delay till I can press the dialpad button then press a number. For my job I need to be answer calls very quickly and press #1 but it take a good 6-10 second before I can go through everything. It seems to be a lot of delay due to fade and graphics and stuff. I can't seem to find a different dialer app and Samsung doesnt have a clue. Suggestions? Another dialer app I haven't seen? Dont want to root if I dont have to.
