[Q] Wake up when picked up?

Is there an app or a way to have the tab wake up (to the lock screen) when it detects motion? ie Wake up automatically when it's picked up? allowing you to then either use the device or set it down so the screen can timeout again?
It seems like a more natural way to use the device as opposed to fiddling with a button. If like me you use the device only around the house then it's stationary 90% of the time and not being jostled about in a pocket. So if I pick it up at all then it's because I'm about to do something with it. It'd be great to have the screen flick on automatically.
It's not something I've seen much of. I'm not even sure if that sensor can trigger that action. Any thoughts or ideas?
If you are on a firmware that lets you access test mode (*#*#0*#*#) you can find that P1000 actually have a "grab sensor" that works well, but I never knew the use of it...
Let's hope the experts have an answer! ^^
I have to admit, that would be a cool feature... not for everyone or every lifestyle, but I can already imagine frequent uses where that would be good to select as an option.
I'm runnning overcome 4.1.0 - doesnt seem to let me access the test settings for the "grab sensor". Fingers crossed there is another way to utilize this feature.

[Q] Disable Screen wake up

I saw there was a mod for the regular S4 that would allow you to disable the screen from waking when you receive a text, but is there anyway you can do this for the Active? I even tried that mod for the regular S4 and it didnt seem to work for the Active.
I mean, if AT&T insists on not letting the bootloader be unlocked, the least they could do was offer a feature that allows you to disable your screen from waking up when a text is received.
Any help would be appreciated.

Keeping screen off during notifications on Galaxy Gear

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the screen turning on during a notification? I know the gear 2 has a feature called "keep screen off" which allows my watch to just vibrate when I get a message and the display stays off. Any such thing for the galaxy gear ?

How to stop the screen lighting up.

Hi all, just got myself a LG GWatch R, and loving it so far...
Just a couple of questions...
1: The screen keeps lighting up when i move my arm?, this is causing extra battery drain and i dont want this to happen, ive already set the screen to always on in ambient mode so wht does it keep turning on to full?
2: It keeps saying google now is not available even though its connected? Annoying.
3: The same cards keep appearing even though i have swiped them away. Why?

1) You can no do that. Just mute notification by swipe down watch status bar, it mute notification and disable the lightin up movement.
2) It need BT connected watch/phone AND valid internet connection on phone.
3) card appear when phone send notification. If card appearing after swipe, it is your phone wich notify again.
1: STUPID, I dont want to turn my buzzer of to stop the screen lighting up.

which particular card is annoying you? i do find the light up mechanism is annoying as if i turn my wrist to do something and the screen just light up.
i wish google or LG is able to come up a new features to stop the auto light up function by movement. on pebble, you can disable such function...why google cannot..
Well I tried emailing them about it. But after sitting there for half an hour entering crap just to send an email I gave up.
I'm on holiday this week. And I keep getting a card saying holiday all day. But this keeps popping up about 20 times a day. Doesn't appear on the phone just the watch.
According to the screenshots in this article covering the upcoming Android Wear 5.0 Lollipop, we will be able to disable the wake gesture!
have a close look at the screenshots of the AW phone app, there is an option "Tilt to wake screen"
the holiday is mark in your google calendar? if you didnt connect the phone with watch..did it happen?
No its coming from the phone. But I don't understand why it appears all the time instead of once
I would also like it too not light up every time I move! I have turned off all gestures and tilt to wake but it still lights up. Just want to tell the time not let everyone know im wearing a smartwatch.

Waking up the watch by touching the screen

Hi, I've a Galaxy Gear [SM-V700] already in Tizen.
Is there a way to wake up the watch by touching the screen (without pressing power button or moving the wrist as from settings) ?
If not, should it be possible reverting back to android?
Thanks in advance.
I'm wondering this also. Is there a smart watch with this option?
