Note 4's Default DPI - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys. I remember in Note 3 the default DPI is 480. What is the default one for Note 4? I want to try texdroider on it but I want to know how to bring it back to default before I even start. Thanks!

What kind of preview are you looking for? I use app settings (Xposed module) to easily change the dpi of specific apps... Like Gmail at 550.

I made a little batch file that grabs stock dpi and resolution and allows you to change either to default or to a custom setting. You can get it at goo.gl/YTsHQp.

[Q] How to set the default homescreen #

I would like to set the default homescreen to #4 instead of #1 in galaxy note. I tried to follow instruction from i9000 / sgs2 but there is no hope by editting the build.prop. Anyway have another way could suggest? Thanks!
Any news???
+1, I've been using launcher pro to do this but would like to do it with touchwiz if possible

I still hope someone can figure this out?
Is that we must accept the default homescreen should be on page 1?

Changing LCD Density

Hey,
I wanted to change the dpi in order to let the icons on my screen appear bigger.
But I don't know which values I should set since I don't really know how this works..
So could anybody tell me the values which won't brick my phone?
Thanks

Lowest dpi - 170

use lcd density modder pro.
if you use the free version you will get play compatibility issues.

I used this app once, you need root access and that's it, there is a higher density and does make icons larger, i would lower it though

If u have root u can try changing the changing the dpi of the screen
LCD Resolution (Root) / Rom toolbox
but u need to use a diff launcher.. doesnt seem to work good with TW
I want to change the font size in every app, i m not rooted and i am back from root, so on stock if there is a way to reduce the size
yes reducing the DPI will reduce the fontsize and app icons as well
Or as shiv said, just adjust it in settings, there's an option for tiny, small large or extra large, works across the whole ui.

Corrupted images on Twitter after changing LCD density

I used a terminal emulator to change the default density (560) to 460. Every single app works fine except Twitter. Images on Twitter are corrupted. When I set back the density to 560 the images return to normal. Is there any way to fix it? Or is it a side effect I will have to live with?

Also change density in build.prop. Google how if you don't know.

Now you can try DPI 384. Fonts huge.

Dpi change..

I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed that, on top of the other display changes? I noticed in developer options, that you can change the dpi.. Maybe I'm late to this.. But I changed it, and it looks awesome!
