Is it possible to use the stock xperia 4.3 jelly bean lock screen on the stock KitKat firmware?
I was trying to use the apk from 4.3 but with no luck.
Sent from HTC One m8, or maybe not anymore

One question that i've got ...
I installed Google Edition 4.3 on my Galaxy 4, altho i've recieved a update for Jelly Bean 4.3... is it safe to update even tho i'm rooted?
Thanks in advance
Dalle
I've an HTC One (Unlocked) running on Jelly Bean 4.3 with Sense 5.5 but the thing annoying me is latest KitKat update is not available for my region (Pakistan) yet. Is there any way to update my device without rooting or anything else? I don't wanna take any risk!
P.S. Is KitKat faster than Jelly Bean on HTC One?

Click to collapse
No there is no way to update your device if you don't want to do anything. If you don't want to take any risk then just don't do nothing and wait for the ota update...

Hi there, a few months ago I flashed a custom ROM and switched from the stock 4.1.2 to the CarbonRom 4.4.4, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S Advance
Now I'm having lags with it and I want to return to the stock ROM or install a JellyBean based ROM.
I read that it's not possible to install the ROM directly because I need to downgrade first, but I don't know where to start... is there a guide out there?
I tried searching on google and I read that it's not possible to downgrade because of bootloader things... Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance
You don't need to downgrade.
You can directly install stock Jelly Bean firmware using Odin.
You can install a Jelly Bean based rom using CarbonRom recovery. If the Jelly Bean based rom doesn't include a kernel, you also need to install a Jelly Bean kernel (like CoCore).
Personally I think there's no need to revert back to the slow Jelly Bean. I'm using this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-advance/general/rom-modded-cyanogenmod-11-t3387424 for three weeks now with no problems, it's better than CarbonRom.
